Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. Superiors and Executioners stand behind Inferiors in a battle, herding them into it, forcing back any deserters, and snapping at their heels as they push forward their living blockade — because while they might survive the war, they face certain death if they refuse to go in and fight. Their fear of their superiors at home is greater than their fear of the enemy on the battlefield. Pain is possible from one; it’s guaranteed from the other. Such is the terror of their oppression: death is preferable to facing the consequences of cowardice at home.

we have a new information section on the joining thread! if you ever need a refresher on any bit of NC culture, that should help you out <3 we've also added some new culture features to the clan, namely cat-hunting (it's as wonderful as it sounds) and the ranking of Class duties as higher than warrior ones. i sent out a message about that last week in case you missed it <3 we also have some exciting plots lined up for the near future! a war? a coup? a new leader? a SECOND coup to reinstate the OLD leader? If you have a character you want to be put on trial, feel free to list infractions the interrogators/witnesses can use against them! Rumours, breakings of the law, anything like that! he wilfully helped an escaped prisoner scheduled for execution escape capture; he treats classes and executions with no enthusiasm; if kier were to be overthrown, it's likely he would be relieved and would support the coup-plotters; he's untrustworthy and has a soft spot for she-cats; he's weak. (if you have a reporter character or someone you want to be a witness next trial, feel free to use any of that! and other stuff! make it up! go nuts! the only rule with trials is that there are no rules! <3)
