- Try to pair cats that Mothers suggest be together first - ALWAYS pair waxings and wanings together - Try to pair two cats together young. - Try and pair cats who show slight dissent with the most fervent and loyal. Never pair a dissenting cat with a cat who is weak-willed or questioning their loyalty - Cats with too many elementals in their bloodlines should be paired with cats who likely cannot have kits. This is basically a law. - Cats with good blood should be mated with someone who has the only occasional chance of elementals in their bloodline
Above you'll find a list of the fledglings and students in Moonclan, those paired off, those unpaired, and of proposed pairings. At the head of these pairings are Luminaries for the students and Mothers for the fledglings. When a pairing is proposed if the pair are students a Luminary will arrange a supervised 'visit' when the two will have a meeting for a Luminary to evaluate their compatibility. If the Luminary approves the pairing they move to the approved pairs list. To propose a pair as a Luminary or a Mother simply respond to this thread with the characters involved and why your character things they should be paired following the format below. Once that is done we will reach out to the rpers and ask if they're alright to move forward with an evaluation thread and then the Luminary who proposed the pairing will be contacted to make that evaluation thread or if they are unavailable another Luminary will make the thread.
WHEN THE PROPOSED PAIR ARE FLEDGLINGS Nothing needs to be done at the moment, the Mothers can if they wish arrange 'play dates' between their proposed pairing under their supervision but that is to their discretion and an evaluation thread won't happen until they are Students and a Luminary will take over the pair.

“*Note: All mothers, inquisitors, and luminaries are technically opted out of the pairing system, and cats can choose to be opted out by talking with luminaries (out of character done by messaging clan staff <3) even though depending on the reason it may leave a permanent stain on their reputation. However, technically all cats are added onto the pairing list until stated otherwise for general convenience. An asterisk is put by the names of luminaries, mothers, and inquisitors.
