Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(SunClan is attacking MoonClan for their supplies!
Crimsonrose had been preparing for this moment. And there had been unfortunately, some opposition to her efforts, but just as much had been supportive.
"All right, we know the plan correct?" Crimsonrose meowed looking to the cats who had accompanied her. Nightfury had been firmly against it, but the patrol was sizable enough Crimsonrose was confident they'd be successful. "MoonClan has been paranoid for the past few days, so this is our moment to seize! They may be aware but they have worn themselves out in their caution. We strike hard, we strike fast and with the full strength SunClan is known for!"
"And while that's happening, the real point of this operation will begin. Once the clan comes in to fight, our most stealthy members will sneak in and steal herbs and supplies. Grab everything you can. And then get out, we'll cover their escape and then pull out."
She glanced around at the cats she'd brought. All of them decked out in war paint. Unfortunately, most of the paints had been lost so they'd had to make do with the red Crimsonrose had been able to find. She wasn't sure if the meaning was correct but she'd rationalized it was better for them to have paint then to go in without it.
"Are we ready?" Crimsonrose said, waiting for the cats of SunClan to give her a nod before she turned to MoonClan's camp laid out before them, the ginger she cat grinning darkly.
She let out a caterwaul. "SunClan attack!" She yowled before launching herself forward and into the heart of MoonClan leaping at the first cat she saw.
MOONCLAN Jetclaw Wickedshriek took in a sharp as he heard the battle cry. So many of his Clanmates were paranoid about an attack, but Wickedshriek was never worried--the other Clans were full of nothing but hot air. None of them would dare attack MoonClan....would they?
Something crashed into him before he could give it more thought. "Gcht!" he grunted, the breath knocked out of him. He lay dazed on the floor of the camp, vaguely taking in the blurred figure standing before him. "So..." he coughed, standing up on shaky legs, "SunClan is even more stupid than I thought, huh...?" He unsheathed his claws and swiped at Crimsonrose, his movements weak from the blow dealt to him moments ago.
[MC] Strongbelief stirred nervously in the crowd of waiting SunClanc cats. He really did not like going against what the Soothsayer said, but he couldn't help but acknowledge the leadership that Crimsonrose exuded. Nightfury, while clearly wise and strong, lacked that, and it was something he could not overlook. In one deep breath he leaped in after his leader, reaching out for the first MoonClan cat he saw.
[SC] Stormheart had been minding his own business until he heard their battle cry. What in Selene's name!!! He whirled around to see Crimsonrose leaping for him. He growled at slammed into her. "What are you doing!"
Ravenstar himself had been taking it easy today, and only woke when he heard the battle cry. He gaze darkened. No. He wouldn't let it happen again. He dug his claws into the hard stone as he raced from his den a leapt into the fry. "MoonClan, get your butts up and fight!"
SunClan Crimsonrose Crimsonrose ducked the swipe, his claws just barely scratching the surface under her fur. The tiny prick of pain making Crimsonrose's eyes dilate, delight and excitement coursing through the battle hungry she cat.
She drew back to strike Moonshriek hard, when her ears swiveled at the sound of Ravenstar's voice, a gleeful grin on her face. Ravenstar, a worthy opponent. She moved forward and gave Moonshriek a shove. "Keep pushing in SunClan! Take them down!" She called to her cats, her blood singing. She gave Moonshriek a swipe, she'd best this opponent and then move on to Ravenstar. biyuu ☆彡
Provided he didn't slip away before she could.
Stormheart's blow smacked into her head and she let out a grunt, surprised by the strike at first before a smile crossed her face. Rearing up she thrust her forepaws against him to knock him off balance. Bracing for a retaliation from either him or Moonshriek. stardance
Wickedshriek was still feeling dizzy being caught off guard, his head pounding in time with his heartbeat. He gave Stormheart a small dip of the head out of recognition for what he'd done--it was the only nicety he could spare in the heat of battle. It took what felt like a gargantuan effort, but he took a deep breath and put his weight on his front legs, kicking out at Crimsonrose with his back legs.
[ Moonclan ] The siamese tom returned to his home and his blue eyes took a moment to take in the scene, narrowing at the fighting bodies and ears flicking back against the battle cries. Puzzlemaker had been out, dealing with a nephew, when something had stirred inside him. A paranoia that had unfurled and sent him hurrying back towards camp only to find his worst suspicions proven correct. The new Inquisitor let out a furious snarl before joining the fray.
As he tried to head towards those most vulnerable, where the kits and their mothers were curled away. Before he could get very far he was waylaid by a lunging feline, twisting to take them to the ground with him the slim tom was quick to slip the others grip and get back to his feet whirling to face them.
Crimsonrose Crimsonrose grunted at the strike to her side, her grin widening that despite Wickedshriek being dazed the tom didn't give up.
"Good! Keep fighting! Here, I'll show you to a new dance partner!" She purred as she launched forward, grasping onto Wickedshriek's scruff with her teeth and with a twist of her full body and a jerk of her head, she hurled Wickedshriek at a different group of SunClan cats.
"But I want a dance with Ravenstar before the battle's done." Crimsonrose purred amber eyes gleaming as she shoved Stormheart aside and made a beeline for where she'd heard Ravenstar call out. biyuu ☆彡stardance
Goldengrace
This was certainly not a tactic her mother had used, but it also wasn't Bloodycrow's tactics either. Bloody would've commanded it while Crimsonrose merely presented the option.
And admittedly after being powerless against the Dominion, powerless against the earthquake that took her parents and most of her family away. Goldengrace was quite happy to accept the pound of flesh Crimsonrose was willing to take out of MoonClan.
In a way this all had started because of MoonClan, because of Selene. Well not just Selene, but teh gods in general. If it weren't for the Sun and Moon God, perhaps Bloodycrow wouldn't have been mad. Perhaps her mother wouldn't have had to execute the Sun God. Perhaps things would've been peaceful.
But it wasn't to be, and Goldengrace lacked anyone concrete to blame.
So when Wickedshriek was hurled into her by Crimsonrose, Goldengrace nearly being bowled over after separating from the MoonClan cat she'd attacked. She barred her teeth and went on the attack, swiping at Wickedshriek. biyuu ☆彡 (poor Wickedshriek, he's bad at fighting and now he's stuck still fighting XP)
Curiteflame A light ginger tom with flecks of red at the tips of his ears and tail, complimenting the red war paint he wore. It was Curiteflame who was the one to strike into Puzzlemaker. The tom bared his teeth and leapt at him again claws flashing out as he struck for Puzzlemaker's face. childe

(my only question, did they attack at day or night? )
She was tired of the past days week. There was a massive change and she couldn't get over the disappearance of her family, and the distraught was ruining her from even thinking about the SunClan paranoia - ironically sad that was something her father and siblings would probably be all over with their own conspiracy theories. Next thing the High Witch knew - there was frantic shuffling and yowls coming from the outside. Damn it, was this an full fledge attack? Was it another clan? She was never the best fighter in her family or clan, she cursed the fact they weren't here when she really needed them. Charging outside, she couldn't believe she was hoping for just some dumb stray fox or raccoon to be wreaking havoc in their camp, that'd be easier and less dangerous to deal with. Unfortunately, the scent of SunClan crossed her path just before she spotted the war paints.
"Get out!" she dared to screech with her bottled up raw emotions at the some of the scariest of the SunClan cats; her logic demanded she be ready to take it back as soon as she actually saw Strongbelief up close. Well, gotta commit now. stardance
[MC] Stormheart tried to stop the Crimsonrose from getting to his leader, but he had no chance. He had committed to far into a push, and Crimsonrose's just sent him flailing to the side. Dammit.
Ravenstar could not believe he let this happen again. He knew the savages were on his territory the other day, he just didn't think they'd come so far so quickly. What had they done to provoke SunClan? Nothing. They just wanted blood, just like their leader. He wouldn't let them get expelled from their land once again. He wouldn't let them suffer again. In that moment he felt a steely calm wash over him. Selene... guide me. "What is this?" A growl sounded from deep in his throat, and quiet whispers filled his ear. "Do you want more death!?"
[SC] Strongbelief, like most of SunClan, lost family in the earthquake. He lost almost almost all of his, and it burned. At it would never go away, but maybe it could be drained every now and then. His eyes fell onto Lilysoul... and charged. He leaped for face with a writhing mess of slashing claws.
SunClan Crimsonrose Crimsonrose cocked her head. "Do you have such little faith in your warriors to survive?" She asked amber eyes glowing. "SunClan has always been renowned for their strength. Whereas I have heard so little of MoonClan by comparison." She noted.
Despite speaking in a conversational tone that didn't stop her from charging forward, then shifting to the side scoring her claws down Ravenstar's side.
"And yet the Moon is supposed to be the Sun's equal. After all the sun shouldn't yield the sky to a weakling."
She grinned stepping back to let Ravenstar recover himself. "Wouldn't you agree?" stardance
Resilientbloom Resilientbloom crouched among a few other SunClan cats. The MoonClan camp seemed to be filled with a mess of fighting cats.
"The distraction seems to be working. Come on." She said creeping along downwind of the camp as they had been placed by Crimsonrose before.
The white she cat crept low, unlike the attackers they bore no paint, making them harder to immediately discern like their attacking fellows. A necessary sacrifice for the success of their mission.
And still Resilientbloom's heart hammered in her chest as she led the small patrol in search of MoonClan's supplies. (Anyone in SunClan can join this group)
These taunts... he knew them well. Bloodystar threw out similar words when he drove them from his home during his kithood... and there was an element of truth to it. His Clan was small, no way around that. It had not recovered yet from those desolate moons lost in the desert, but that's why he was here, to guide them from that dark place. He had no intention of letting this she-cat take that away from them. Her claws stung like a nettle on a cold winter's morning, and like that he took it in stride. As she pulled away he lunged forward, talking the both of them to the ground. "At least we don't revel in death."
Crimsonrose met his gaze, eyes shining with delight, blood thrilling through her veins as he knocked her to the ground and stood over her. The ginger she cat unable to hold back a grin.
"Revel in death? No, no you've got it all wrong Ravenstar." She tutted, pulling in her hind legs and thrusting them up into his chest to throw him off.
She rolled back to her feet, claws flexing in the dirt. "Death isn't what I have come for. For I revel in the fight!" She said before leaping back into the fray. Feinting at his left before swiping her right forepaw, smacking him on the head and following it up with a shove.
Reveling in the fight or the kill, it was all the same to the MoonClan leader. "It makes no difference, you still want to see everyone suffer." He thought cats like this no longer held power after Bloodystar was dethroned. As much as he despised her, he knew Littlestar was no bloodthirsty killer. He knew Aspenstar never had a plan to conquer MoonClan. Wherever this she-cat come from bred violence and death, and he was disappointed in them for stooping so low again. He rolled back onto his own feet, and his tail lashed once again. He fell for the feint, that age old trick and took the smack to the head, but he was ready for the follow through. He let her bring him to the ground, but quickly kicked his hindlegs up into her stomach.

(totally makes sense lol either way, day has the advantage, but night would give the best surprise ambush xD)
MC Lilysoul /His eyes fell onto Lilysoul... and charged./stardance What a time to wish she was a tortoise so she could just crawl into a shell and hide. Lilysoul took a breath before turning her shoulder to the tom for defense and lowering her head. She dared to take a step forward, and then with all her might leap to the left to dodge him. He was like a bowling ball and she was a mere pin ready to be knocked down, if he could catch her - best make sure that didn't happen.

SC Midnightcurrent Jetclaw Midnightcurrent forgot to wore his paint half the time, at least wear it correctly so going blank canvas this time was easy as he tried to carefully play look out as he followed Resilientbloom. If one of them got caught, they have to book it and let them chase and led them away so the others can continue the mission. "There, where their High Witch came from" there were so many cats he couldn't remember every leader, deputy, and healer but made sure to know the faces of MoonClan's just for this event. Their patched tabby healer just revealed and left the treasure chest wide open for them.
(Crimsonrose is also the type to charge in during the day to face her enemy head on XP, and also while the night is best for ambush, Moon is the nocturnal clan and would likely have the advantage there over Sun)
SunClan Crimsonrose
Crimsonrose grunted at the force of the kick forced off Ravenstar for the moment. "If we have claws, why not make sure we remember how to use them?" She countered. "A fight for fighting's sake does not have to lead to suffering."
She straightened up casting her gaze to the battle going around them allowing Ravenstar to get back to his paws. She didn't opt to press the attack for the moment, instead her tail flicked side to side gesturing to the SunClan cats winning their fights. Though MoonClan fought hard to defend. "It is through testing our mettle that we grow stronger and stronger. The sun and moon are meant to be equals, guided by equal but opposite deities. Yet you have fallen again and again to the sun. That is unacceptable."
Her amber eyes gleamed. "We need a rival to match us, to push us. This isn't a demand for you to die, this is a demand that you rise to meet us." She said. stardance
Resilientbloom Resilientbloom's ears pricked and she followed where Midnightcurrent was looking towards the den. She sucked in a breath. They were really doing this.
At least they weren't planning on taking over MoonClan's land this time. This wasn't as bad right? They wouldn't be cursed like last time for it right?
She took a shaky breath to steady herself. She knew what herbs they needed, knew SunClan needed the resources desperately. She couldn't hesitate, even if memories of that horrible night when the dead had walked still left a pit of fear in her belly.
She took another steadying breath. "All right, I'm going in." She hissed. She bunched her legs and then rushed forward disappearing in a blur towards the High Witch's den. Her jaws parted and she sucked in a breath, letting the scents of the herbs wash over her, guiding her over to the essentials. Marigold, poppy seeds, catmint, juniper, and other herbs flashed through her mind as she worked to quickly amass a bundle to take. Shadowbladeღ
