these kittens are the children of ospreyglass. she joined the clan while she was pregnant to escape a troubled childhood. she was born to the leaders of a rogue group, one who believed their control should be passed through the paternal line. she was the only kitten born to the couple, and of course, this posed a problem, and she was taught her entire life that she would be raised to eventually produce a son that would take on the position. as soon as she was old enough, she was quickly married to a suitor, the father of the kittens, and was tasked with the job of reproduction. ospreyglass had a series of miscarraiges, and with each miscarriage, she was treated more and more like a failure, and both her parents and her suitor became more and more aggressive. after a handful of failed pregnancies, ospreyglass was faced with an ultimatum: if her next pregnancy failed, she would be of no use to the family anymore. the success of her pregnancy would determine whether or not she would survive. as her pregnancy progressed, ospreyglass became more and more anxious, not only because she was afraid for her life, but because she was afraid of what would happen to her kittens if they were born into this life, knowing how her parents treated her. as such, one blistery night, she made a break for it, a desperate attempt to save herself and her kittens. she stumbled onto summerclan land in exhaustion, and the clan took her in and supported her through the rest of her pregnancy. forever grateful for the hospitality, osperyglass joined the group permanently to raise her kittens.

osperyglass is an anxious type, one who will constantly fret over her children. she is deeply traumatized herself, but she does her best to ensure her children have a healthy, happy childhood. however, sometimes the best intentions don't quite work out...
