Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Her silvery coat seemed to give a sparkle in the starlight. Cometfrost had slipped from the camp that chilly night, restless. Sometimes she found it was hard to sleep, plagued with dreams she found from her past. It made her sleep restless, and constantly murmuring. Another night she was found, taking a walk in attempts to ease the anxiety they gave her. Her paws impressively light in the snow, she made her way out of the camp and into the WinterClan territory. No real destination planned, simply letting her paws carry her, and the crisp air try to air out her emotions.

She had never been a very sound sleeper herself. Her den was too quiet and cold with her by herself. She hadn't been engaged for very long but that passing warmth that flooded her had melted a thin layer of ice around her heart. She could already feel it hardening again, stronger and more resilient than before. She was such a fool. She sighed loudly and stood at the edge of the cliff. It had been calling to her a lot even though this was a place filled with bad memories for her. It was the only place she could come to mourn her family and her past self.
Her ears swiveled as the sound of footsteps crunching very softly in the snow caught her attention. Looming around she spotted Cometfrost, a pretty she-cat who had just been named as her new Knight of Stars. "You're up rather late, Cometfrost," she commented curiously. This was not a place that received many visitors.
Had she been that distracted? Her eyes shifted up, the green seeming to glint brightly from the moonlight. Cometfrost had somehow managed to find the crowned. Her head dipped down slightly, as if a nod of respect to quickly pass. "Apologies, I was not attempting to disturb you. My paws must have simply carried me here." She admitted, feeling a bit awkward as she swept her thick tail. "Though, I could say the same for you..."

She tipped her head in acknowledgement to the comment. "Fair enough. I suppose everyone has their sleepless nights." Her paws paused where they were and her head turned to look over the cliff. They were high up here and the view was quite stunning, especially at night. One the nights of the borealis this cliff was especially crowded as cats stared up at the sky with awe. For Indigocrown, this place held a much darker memory and she often came here to collect her thoughts.
"I come here when I cannot sleep quite often. This place holds a special meaning to me, although grim." And she left it at that for now. Most knew this was where her mother had died, but not everyone. Especially those who joined the clan or were still young when it happened. It had been several years now and before many of the young warriors were even born.
"It is a beautiful sight, though. I shouldn't hog it all to myself."
She took it as an invitation to join her. So Cometfrost gave a slight nod before slipping to sit next to the leader. She curled her tail carefully over her paws and sent her gaze outward, and let silence drag on between the pair. This went on for some time, and eventually she found herself speaking. "The clan needs matches, the kit count is low... Without kits, we do not have a solid future." It was a comment, mainly. However, it did mean a lot. It was her purpose for the clan to find a way to provide their future, and lately there had been no matches she had found suitable.

They certainly shared that worry. Even more, the leader of the clan did not have a mate or kits either. She sighed at the thought, feeling as if an arrow pierced her heart at the thought of her ex-fiance. "I know. I will not be enforcing arranged marriages either. We need to somehow encourage matches and kits. Do you have any ideas? Spring is coming and more kits are usually born in this time. I was hoping to have my own kits by then myself." For some time now Indigocrown had been wanting kits more and more. In fact, she was more interested in being a mother than somebody's mate at this point.
"I've been watching the cats of the clan carefully. Trying to find the right matches, trying to decide who would compliment who and not end in divorce. I feel that I need more to work with, I need to see how the chemistry between the cats truly is. Do you think we could perhaps have a festival of some sorts?" Cometfrost suggested, her ears flicking slightly.

A small, almost smug smile came across her face. "I can throw as many festivals as we need if it means keeping my clan alive. Perks of the job." Indigocrown's number one top priority was her clans health and survival. As time moved on she cared less and less about castes or blood purity.
A thought suddenly crossed her mind and she stood in thoughtful silence for a long moment before looking at Cometfrost seriously. "When you are comparing cats for marriage I want you to consider them more individually. I do not care if they are outsiders or claim to only have half blood. Most of our so-called purebloods have more secret affairs and siblings than we care to admit."
Her brows raised. "You do not wish for me to focus per ranking?" It was an odd request, or at least the knight found it to be so. She'd never heard of cats being paired outside of ranking. It would be a new concept for her, but also would open up many opportunities.
