@klee for Articfox & Fairytalesorrow to get to know one another! Also I was curious how you felt about switching Articfox to Knight of Guards and Fairytalesorrow Knight of Guards.
His pale form sat outside the den, huddled against the cold and blue eyes staring off into the woods. The Knight of Guards waited for his compatriot Articfox for a patrol. The tom had cajoled that they needed to know their lands better than they knew themselves, though in truth Articfox had not needed much convincing to come on a patrol with him, loyal as she was. Personally Fairytalesorrow found it a bit of a waste of his time and more wanted to get Articfox alone and parse out where she might fall in the grand scheme of things.
In truth he also wanted to propose to her changing their roles, the dandy tom was more apt towards flights of fancy than advising in times of war. Not that he couldn't do it, in truth Fairytalesorrow for all his seeming incompetence held an actually rather tactical mind. He just had no desire to demonstrate as such and the thought of interacting with the prisoners was a dull one.
I would totally be down to switching their roles if you would like! I can make Arcticfox work for either role :3
Arcticfox had been surprised that Fairytalesorrow had wanted to go on patrol together, but once she truly started to think about it the request made sense considering the two had just been chosen to serve as knights together. She knew that some of the more pure blooded Winterclan members were outraged that she, an outsider, had been chosen to replace Arcticsong, who had been 50% Winterclan, but Arcticfox had proven her worth to Indigocrown. She was more loyal than half of the pure blooded Winterclan cats, and she planned to show beyond a doubt that she would never betray Indigocrown so that her own bloodline would one day be considered pure. "Ready to leave?" Arcticfox asked as she came to stand beside Fairytalesorrow. She was born and raised in the snowy wasteland that was slightly beyond the Winterclan border, so she knew how to traverse through snow, but she knew little about the actual Winterclan territory considering how little she was allowed to explore and leave when she started as a prisoner.
