The Dvoranye trotted through the territory, the slim tom humming a light tune as he bounded through the land, navigating based on instinct and previous knowledge rather than on the sight that he lacked. Killian had never minded his disability, of course. His great grandmother was blind, as were many of his kin, and every single one of them had proved their worth to BrookClan ten times over. Even he had proven stronger than most cats gave him credit for, despite his petite stature for a tom. With a sharp nose and sharper ears, things came easy to him, with only a few exceptions. Swimming was something he didn't often do, and climbing was downright dangerous, though he occasionally sat on the lowest branches of familiar trees.
Today, however, he was just out and about without much in mind. Perhaps he'd hunt later, but for now, the tom was just happy to relax, the cold hardly seeming to bother him.
A streak of cream and ginger fur was weaving through the trees the blur of fur appearing not to be heading in any certain destination. The movements actually seemed erratic in their behaviour. Though on closer inspection you could see a small tiny blob of sleek grey fur blasting its way through the snow zigging this way and that. Momo huffed as she chased down the vole, she would have caught it far earlier if she hadn't stepped on a twig hidden beneath the snow and alerted the prey of her presence. So now here she was chasing the tiny thing through the territory. The she-cat honestly wasn't the greatest hunter to ever grace BrookClan, but what she lacked in technical skill she made up for in determination and effort. Which mostly paid off. But, this time the vole had managed to slip under the roots of a tree and disappear before her very eyes.
The viony let out an annoyed hiss as she sent a small pawful of snow at the roots of the tree as if that would scare the creature out. Her chest was rising in falling with the adrenaline from the chase. She was so caught up in her actions that she hadn't even noticed Killian a few lengths away.
At the hiss, the tom's ears pricked, and Killian's head turned to the sound of the other cat, though he relaxed as the scent of BrookClan reached his nose. Only a clanmate. Turning fully to face the she-cat, he trotted forward a few steps, until the sound of her breathing seemed to indicate he was close enough for easy conversation. "You alright?" The Dvorayne questioned, head tilting in apparent concern.
