Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
His dark fur ruffled up against the wind, the old medicine cat meandered toward FallClan territory. He wasn’t sure why his paws were carrying him here, back to his apprentice’s family, but he felt it might be important. Or maybe he was just missing her. It was hard to tell one impulse for another these days.
He stopped to patch up a loner’s leg; Tangle had mewled and trembled but was grateful at the end. The prey she caught gave him the energy to carry on.
Finally the old medicine cat ambled up to the border and sat down to wait.
Berrybloom, ever escaping her mother’s watchful eye, was out wondering the lands when the scent drifted to her. The scent of an outsider was always something that drew her in, whether form her natural curiousity or duty as a warrior it was hard to say. Quickly, she found her way to the border and the old man sitting there, just in the other side of the border. Stepping up slowly, head tilted as she surveyed him, she calle four, “need something, old man?”
He looked up the calico she-cat and smiled at her politely. She didn't look very familiar to him, but she was young; had she even been alive last time he was here?
"I'm looking to meet someone," he replied, "a warrior named Seablossom, or her mate. Crown--- Crownsomething?" He frowned a little, trying to remember. He could picture the tom clearly: the two looked similar with their dark, fluffy fur and golden eyes. "My name is Ebonygold."
Her ears perked up, curious and confused on how this tom knew her mother’s name. “Whatca need them for?” Berrybloom had never before heard his name but she didn’t ask now out of hostility or protective nature, but genuine curiosity. Her mother never talked about their past, their time before FallClan. She knew, logically, that while she’d been born in the clan, her parents and older family members hadn’t been. So who had they been before FallClan? Seablossom refused to talk about it and when she did that, Crownglass Follower suite, leaving the poor warrior with no answers.
