Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Roseshade finished grooming her adoptive daughter's fur into place "Are you sure you are ready for this?" she questioned looking down upon the newly named Mistypaw. The young cat had always been rather sickly, spending most of her time under the watchful eye of the clan's witch hovering between life and death for most of her kit hood. She had tried to convince Wintrystar to delay her apprenticeship for another moon, but Mistypaw had insisted that she start training right along side of her sister Halfpaw
The long furred diluted tortie sighed loudly "Auntie Roseshade, you are embarrassing me" she wiggled under her aunt's tongue, pulling away so that she could go and greet her mentor Indigochill "Wintrystar thinks I am ready, so you just gotta believe in me a little" she pushed away, scampering off towards her new mentor looking up with wide eyes "Hi! I'm Mistypaw, what will you be teaching me today?" From where she sat Roseshade glared at Indigochill, a warning. If anything happened to Mistypaw, their would be a heavy price to pay.Shadowbladeღ

Indigochill was a bit surprised to receive another apprentice so soon, but he couldn't complain either. At least not until he realized since the very moment his name was uttered something was staring daggers into him; a glance around to find the apprentice led him to befall on the very source of it as well. It was a bit off-putting to feel like prey and to be staring at the cat behind his apprentice as she approached, muting his tone as he gave a more casual,
"Hey..." laced with uncertainty as he tried to tear his eyes away from her. To have the Witch seemingly hating for something he had no clue about ...maybe she wished for a better mentor? Maybe she just didn't like him? Perhaps Scaredbreath put in a 'good word' and got to her. Regardless she wasn't his apprentice and need not worry about her too much... So long as he never needed to be healed again. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to demand that Amberbird give him some lessons before he was released.
"Right, it's day one so don't get too excited. We could start with a tour outside the camp and talk about borders-and-patrolling or get straight into talking about fighting techniques. Which shall we start with?" It didn't matter too much to him, curbing the interest of whatever it was an apprentice wanted to do helped later on to keep their focus and start the mentor-apprentice training off to good foot to letting the youngsters feel like they finally had some control in their life. It didn't matter what she chose since the other would be done the next day. Going for a walk first was just a warm up exercise to test their stamina and patience. Straight into the fighting and he could burn off some of that eager energy and tire them out which made the walking tour the perfect rest day to let them recover while keeping them moving.
