Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Honeystorm Glowstar tilted her head back in exhaustion, catching the bold edges of Foxstar's eyes as she did. Smiling to herself now she nuzzled Foxstar as they walked, "I'm just glad that gathering's over, I mean seriously, what a long event. Even when I came back from dying I didn't let it drag on that long," She said more to herself as she led the clan back into camp.
Breathing out a much needed breath of air Glowstar strolled up to the Wisteria Throne, but paused when she saw a flash of dark auburn pass through the branches. If it was a fiery behind it would have most likely been Bloodyhearts, but this was out of place... Exchanging a glance with Foxstar she proceeded over past the wisteria branches to spot Sean quickly ducking into a hole, but not fast enough before Glowstar sped over to spot his head still visible in the shallow hole. "Sean, what are you doing in my clan?"
"... So how goes things?" Sean asked, leaning his paw casually at the edge of the hole.
"Well I wanted to go to bed and I'm really hoping I did and this is just a nightmare."
"Nice, nice, well- good news then, this is all dream so bye!" He said making an effort to move down the tunnel, but not before Glowstar reached down to stop him.
"Why are you in my clan? You don't even like DayClan."
"Yes, well- um... Shule and I are having a rough patch in the way that I am definitely exiled from the Regime because she was going to hurt Dusky and I stopped her. So it's technically all Foxstar's fault, if she hadn't messed with Shule then we'd have raised Dusky together or if SunClan had just kept Dusky then I wouldn't have ruined things with Shule. So if anything Blunderstar owes me one," Sean said with a prissy expression that was immediately wiped off when Glowstar casually smacked him across the face, "HEY! No violence!"
"Drop the insults and maybe you'll get somewhere." Foxstar trailed Glowstar as they came to stop Sean from running away. "I'd say it's a bit more than a rough patch. Seems like she insists on being called Shule Escale now, for whatever reason. Don't blame me for you messing up your own marriage. I've done a lot, but this one's all you." It was an interesting set of events in the Regime recently, and the foxy feline found her eyes glittering with the trouble of it all. And honestly, getting to watch Glow in action was always wonderful, she found herself giving the DayClan leader an almost dreamy sort of stare that made her look like a lovesick psycho. Which she was, admittedly.
"Oh okay, so you just take it when anyone else piles on to blame you, but the moment your hot brother in law comes over its, "Don't blame me, Sean." He said, placing a dramatic paw over his forehead in the reenactment, but seemed to let the offense he took roll off his shoulders now, "And I did the right thing, she wanted to- do some questionable things," Sean said, glancing in the other direction, choosing to move around to the throne than to spill the full details of what had happened.
"Listen, Shule has just been under a crazy amount of stress for the longest time now. I'd dare anyone to ask themselves if they could do what she does for as long as she has without any slip ups. Shule's just trying out her own last name and like, all the power to her. She's probably just tired of having the same last name as Glow and I mean, I get it, I'm embarrassed to share it too," he said with a roll of his eyes, now lying down on their throne, "Hm," He said before bunching up the moss in some areas, "Spanish moss is bad for the skin, just saying, I'd get something less rough is all."
"Okay, this still doesn't explain why you're in my clan," Glowstar pointed out, wishing she could look endearingly into Foxstar's eyes like her mate was without Sean being a major turn off.
"I prefer the word, our clan," Sean said with a soft smile before moving away from the wisteria throne that he had nicely fluffed up, now heading back to the tunnel he came from.
"I'm sorry, what?" Glowstar asked, but by the time she asked he was already down into the tunnel, "WHAT!?" She repeated, this time following him down, but the moment she hit the bottom she was surprised by how spacious everything was, "Fox, it's actually pretty spacious down here," She said, knowing that Foxstar wasn't a fan of closed in underground areas.
Inside his rabbit hole was a wide open space with a moss covered floor, a bit chilly, but there was a circular nest stuffed with feathers and furs. Rocks and crystals were displayed nicely on the jagged stone wall. Running across the floor was Snowy, his syrian white hamster, which returned to Sean upon spotting him, settling on the top of his head.
"Oh wow, you're definitely living under our literal bed," Glowstar said, peering around.

Whatever lovesick look she had in her eyes faded a bit after realizing Sean was living literally beneath them. "Well that is just a little bit creepy, Sean." Foxstar peered around the area. It was spacious, not that she liked it all that much regardless. It was underground after all. She rocked lightly side to side on her paws, humming quietly in disapproval. "Can we kick him out, perhaps? I really don't need a tunnel cat who let his ex leave me to rot in prison walking around DayClan."
"Who knows, maybe he could be spying for her." It was a change of thought, and highly unlikely that Shule would do such a thing simply for spying, but perhaps that was just Foxstar's discomfort with the underground and UNDER THEIR BED, bit of things talking.
"Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! We don't have to do that!" Sean exclaimed.
"Who knows, maybe he could be spying for her."
"Okay, how about, I just explain to you the whole thing. So I was just living my best life and had taken my rock out to graze-"
"I'm sorry, you did what?" Glowstar paused, looking at Sean with a level of focus to even attempt to understand him that she had never exhibited before for anyone.
"I let me rock out to graze?" He asked, to ensure that was the right one Glowstar was asking about and when she seemed to confirm it in her expression he continued, "Y'know because I took the rock out of its natural habitat. It would be cruel not to allow it to graze back into the surface world of nature to feel wild again every once in a while. So anyways-" Sean suddenly scrunched up his nose at his sisters disbelieving expression, "Don't look at me like that! You do plenty of weird things, like that one time you had a fox as a pet. Anyways, Shule and I were close or we were getting closer. But then, you know like how you might be a delicate rose, but then the person you love is kind of like a tornado. But for some reason the tornado never would harm a precious petal on the flower so they get along?" Sean asked.
"I am... I am so lost right now, are you even explaining it?" Glowstar asked in a more squeaky concerned voice.
"Okay, okay, I get that, too poetic. The point is that I realize that while Shule is a my dream girl that I'd happily pick every time. She's also evil, which is attractive as hell, but it's not. And that time it was scary so I had to... Turn on her... A little," He said in a smaller voice before meeting their voice, "Okay, I had to turn on her a lot. But I love her, but she also exiled me. So then I started working on my life, but then I was like, hey, you know where a Regime cat could stay with minimal effort?"
"Oh, so you just want a free place to stay," Glowstar asked blankly.
"Yes, that's correct, I see your children do it all the time," Sean nodded enthusiastically.
"Wha- uh- they do things!" She said more as a question, glancing back at Foxstar she walked back over to her, "Alright, look, Shule's a hot head and while Sean is pretty good at being a traitor and I bet did stab Shule in the back pretty hard, I think she could genuinely want him back. Maybe he'd be good leverage if we needed?"

Foxstar listened silently, though when he got to the pet part, she instinctively blurted out. "I'm her mate, not a pet." If Glow wanted to consider her a pet, would she complain though? No, probably not. Listening to Sean was listening like listening to a whirlwind, but she got to the end of it somehow, and just blinked slowly. "Last time I messed with Shule and her family I ended up murdered and then driven insane in prison." She pointed out, eying Sean.
"I'd much rather we just kick him out and save ourselves the trouble. If Shule's mad at him, we don't need her causing us more problems than we already have."
Cinnamonsavage had wanted to go talk to his mom, and his ear twitched. The tom pausing, ears pricking, he moved closer to listen better. Then his ears flattened.
"What's he doing here?" He grumbled stepping into the throne area. "And I do things, I don't expect mom to get my chicken nuggets, I get them myself these days... even share them if the others ask nicely." He added, irked by the seemingly dig at him living here free.
He sat down a ways off, glaring at Sean. "Ugh the more I hear the more I hate this, I'm starting to agree with Foxstar. And like she makes Mom happy, so I'm happy Mom's happy. But she's still Foxstar, just ugh, if you're going to make me agree with Foxstar, I'd rather you please leave and y'know not come back. Ever?" He said.
Was it his place to butt in?
Probably not, but his grudge against his birth parents was still strong. Granted yes, he'd done absolutely nothing to try and fix it, mostly because when all his siblings up and left to join Shule and Sean, he'd scoffed at them. Glowstar was his mom. End of story.
And it was becoming more and more clear, he'd made the right call. Even with having to deal with Foxstar as a sort of step-mom.
"Chasing him out could be a lot of fun" Glowstar said, a mischievous smile playing at her lips when she spotted Cinnamon entering the tunnel, "Cinnamon!" She exclaimed.
"After all I did for you, which was all of one thing!" Sean gasped in disbelief at Cinnamonsavage, "I mean c'mon, I knew I couldn't care for you so I gave you to Glowstar. I did that, I wanted you to have a better life than the one I could give you. Shule came back and wanted a chance with you, but I didn't do that, I promise."
"First I'm hearing of that," Glowstar said skeptically.
"Well I did! Maybe your memories still messed up, but I wanted you to have my kits, I begged you to take them because I knew you could do better than me..." He admitted, "I was just too depressed to care for them and I refused to push them off on some family who wouldn't want them, but I knew you would love them. Clearly, Cinnamon's living a good life."
"Well that's nice to know, but I think we're still decided, you're too much of a danger to have around here. And are wayyy too close to our nest, we're going to need to escort you out," Glowstar said, really she meant chase him out like all the times he did to her when she intruded on Regime's territory, but she was going to try to be civil in front of Cinnamonsavage.
"Alright," Sean said, not fighting it as he walked back to recollect his hamster Snowy, allowing the hamster to crawl back onto the top of his head before padding past the three of them and out of the tunnel space.
"That went better than I thought," Glowstar said, walking out, after all she had to make sure he got to the border.
"Sean's actually right, I was banking on his depression to get his kits." Foxstar admitted, "So it's probably accurate. Are we going to block off this cave after this? I feel like this space just needs to be burned down, but I like our bed too much to do that."
She gave one last look at the tunnel before spinning on her paws to rapidly follow Glowstar out of the underground, and taking a deep breath the moment she was out in open air again. The fur on the back of her neck she hadn't even realized had been raised laid itself back down, and the tension left her shoulders a bit as she walked side by side with her mate to ensure Sean was gone.
"Yeah the one thing that was then completely undermined when you swayed all my siblings to leave with Shule." Cinnamonsavage said rolling his eyes. "Yup, thanks so much for that. I have trauma that I haven't addressed from it I'm sure. Or something like that."
He narrowed his eyes as he watched Sean walk out, and then followed by his mother.
And then Foxstar left after her.
Well what the heck was he going to do now? He'd wanted to ask if they could go on a chicken nugget run together tomorrow.
Just because he could do it himself didn't mean he wanted to.
