"I got Havilah out of it." Emiko remarked, "And no one was any wiser until recently, though they did know about that killing spree, which was totally worth it. But now he's mad at me cause I killed his parents and siblings, typical child rebellion." But Havi was an adult, so that didn't make any sense.
"I guess getting a kid out of it is a pretty good deal," She said, but more shyly added, "Actually, I'm expecting kits soon too, but... Kind of like you I think my secrets going to be found out so I'm giving them to their father to raise. They'll have a better reputation that way. I get that you came out alright, but having dad attached to my name... I don't know, I kind of think my life would be very different if I didn't have him associated with me or knew him or met him..."

"Probably. He's pretty notorious, good or bad depending on how you view it. There's definitely perks and downsides I suppose. But I can't say I've felt any of the downsides. Mostly just created them myself, not that I mind. Congrats on the pregnancy, I suppose."
"Must be nice, I guess it's a bit different when you grow up with the side of the family you belong to and not Glowstar's. Glowstar might be easy to like, but the rest of her family isn't when she let's them get away with literal murder. And then watch me, they'll point and punish me for it and I'll be a stupid Forsaken," She muttered.

"Yeah, grandma Shule will just kill anyone for us if they hurt us instead." She laughed. "Can't get away with murder, but your enemies are murdered if they hurt you? Worthwhile trade of I suppose. What did you do to end up forsaken?"
"Well... I sort of. Maybe sort of, kind of... Killed Fia and intentionally tricked Windchaser into the capture of some two-legs all to assume power, but turns out Glowstar would rather get rid of the position entirely than choose me, which was honestly the biggest kick to the face. And I do feel bad that I sacrificed Fia for nothing," She trailed off.

"Oooh, you're EVIL." Emiko giggled, grinning widely at Tigerlily as if this were the best news she could have possibly gotten. "I'm proud of you for killing to get your way! But you really gotta plan better cause you always make CERTAIN you're next in line before taking risks like that! Need me to help kill someone to get you in a position, or is it too late?"
"I'd have to kill Glowstar and Foxstar at this point to get it and I mean, do I really want to be leader of DayClan? No. I just wanted a place of semi power, you ever get that? You want the perks, but not the responsibility?"

"Seems like a lot of work then, you're better off just taking over another clan or convincing grandma Shule to promote you. She really likes making family have positions." Emiko mused. "That's why half the important cats are all related or married in!"
"I mean in the Regime it makes sense, we weren't allowed to have outsiders for the longest time. Now with DayClan? Glowstar claims to be fair, but all the time she would promote her family and let them get away with- Well actually I guess... I guess Golden and Wind weren't Eerie's, Golden entered later. Then her family seems to protect family so maybe it's more like her family members are corrupt... BUT STILL! She should do something about it," Tigerlily hissed.

"Eeries are Eeries, they do what they want, good or bad. Expecting Glow's side to change for ours is like expecting StarClan to come down and hand us a piece of prey right now." As if to emphasize the ridiculousness of that suggestion, Emiko glanced skyward, holding out her paws and waiting for a piece of prey to conveniently drop into them.
"She makes it seem like she'd be willing to do anything for us. I mean she gives up the underground for us and let grandmother talk bad about her without even raising her voice. For as rowdy as the other side acts they know how to take an order, I can see it in their scars," She remarked with a ghost of a grin, "That's why they hate the idea of being controlled again. Hm. Maybe that's their weakness, a fear of control."
"Maybe, or maybe both sides just prefer their own for no special reason. I don't really think about it too much, either way." Emiko shrugged. She was mostly concerned with sating her own boredom and winning Havilah back than anything.
"Hmm," Tigerlily said, still not certain, "I guess that is true, I could rely on family for a lot of things, at least our side. I'd definitely trust Zakiyyah infinitely easier than Fia. Do you trust our side of the family too? Like me?"
"You haven't tried to kill me yet, so sure, I trust you well enough. But I'm also not in the way of your success, so mayyybe things would be different if that was the case. For now though I'd say so. Murderer or not, most of then seem to at least listen to grandma Shule. For now."
"I would listen to grandmother Shule any day. She has everything that mom always taught me to appreciated. Someone who's well poised, keeps her group in the best shape even if they hate her, and she doesn't let family get in the way of letting them do less work unlike Glowstar," She remarked, "Why do you listen to her too?"
"Well she did raise me, so I'm pretty used to it. Perks of dad giving away his own child, and they never expected anything nefarious from me either. Safe to say they were surprised, but I knew Shule wouldn't have the heart to hate me." Emiko mused. "Plus dad always seemed concerned when in trouble from her, so I figured it was best to play it safe."
"I mean she did kill like two leaders right? That's pretty insane," Tigerlily marveled then added darkly, "I guess I did essentially kill a deputy and drive out another though..."
"Hey, by the way, what do you think of me getting a Regime mate? Sean's been trying to set me up, but is he like, actually good at that?"
"Both of which Glow dated, maybe that has something to do with her not being keen on our side." Emiko's ear twitched at their grandfather trying to set Tigerlily up. "Could go either way. Some are definitely better than others. Who's he trying to set you up with anyway?"
"This guy named Fjord, he's a bit old, but I mean that sort of thing doesn't really bother me," Tigerlily explained a bit shyly, "Is that weird? I mean, I don't know, age just isn't that big of a deal, I'm three now so maybe if I was two it would be weird, but now not so much."
