i want to give more of my cats characters arcs
some of them are major
some can be minor

i have one like 100% figured out, others not so much.
however, i'd like to do arcs with all of my major cats
which means cats like tsar kerrigan are up for like intensive character plotting
so c: thats always exciting right


anyways, so like i have a bunch of brookclan cats, a few pi cats, a few rr cats, some day/night/spring cats.
so if you have a group you want to rp in of those groups, feel free to drop her below and i can list off my cats and the arcs i kind of am thinking.

i also have a character arc that is like specific and already written and stuff that i will post below.

i have some like qualifications tho that i'd like to meet for that one particularly. the others, not so much, but i'm really excited about this one. if youre interested in it, know that it'll be a commitment because i want to see it through from start to finish. so i will pester / be really upset if you like just stop replying. so if you're not interested in an active long term, please don't ask to participate in the universewander one in particular.

i also want to give a disclaimer that my intensive character plotting / character arc threads are going to be probably longer replies on my part, generally multi-paragraph because that's how i develop characters best. these arcs are basically meant to 1) give meaningful struggles for a cat to go through and 2) challenge me as a writer to get as deeply as possible into the minds of my characters. however, if you are someone who likes to do more low intensity rps, we can do that too !

here is the current plot arc that i have completely written that im most excited about. it can happen in basically any clan, because the whole purpose of universewander is that he travels a lot and he doesn't stay in one group for very long. i can send you his bio if you'd like ! i need a female character for it c:

here's his arc :
universewander will learn the lesson of why you must not stay in one place for too long. he will do this when he meets CAT NAME, a she-cat in which he has much in common with. they meet on the day that he enters the new clan as a stranger seeking refuge. the two bond quickly. there is something about her that is different from the others that he had met on this journey, but he is unsure what. after a few days, CAT NAME begins to ask him about himself. he has never answered these questions before, but finds himself opening up to a cat he has only known for a few days. perhaps he does this becasue he knows that eventually, she will be another star added to the galaxy of lives he had come in contact with. he then asks her about her life, and soon, the two learn everything about each other under the light of the stars.

the two fall in love, but universewander tries to deny that he loves her to himself in any way possible. he knows that he cannot love another cat, cannot establish a relationship. he could not let her love him, as he knew that as soon as he walked into this clan, he already had one foot out the door. this was his life. here today, gone tomorrow, forgotten the next day. yet, he cannot stop the fact that when he sees her, he almost feels complete, almost as if he could make a home with her.

however, he was a cat born for leaving, which means that too soon, it was time for him to phase out of the existence of her life. he feels the pull of the universe tugging him to his next destination. yet, he cannot go without telling her goodbye.

things do not go quite his way, though. she confesses her love to him that night, and he cannot help saying that he loves her as well. yet, in the same breath, he explains that he must go. he says that she will never understand why he must go, as he doesn't himself. he assures her that if there was anything he could do, he would stay with her.

she is confused, but tells him that if it is the life of a nomad that he wants, it is the life of a nomad she will accept. she will follow him into the darkness and across the solar system. she will go wherever he goes, because the night that she met him, she knew in her soul that he was the only one that she could ever be happy with.

universewander cannot let her do this. it isn't because he doesn't want her to come. after all, he understood that with her by his side, his existence wouldn't be so lonely. he could travel the world and be content if she was by his side. still, he knows that she deserves better. she deserves a world he could never give her, one of stability, one where she can have a family, grow old.

he tries to explain this to her, but CAT NAME is insistent. they argue about it, before he relents. he says that they will leave in the morning, but for now, they should enjoy the night together. she accepts this offer, and the two experience one last romantic night together. they fall asleep curled next to each other.

universewander never intended for her to come with him, though. unbeknownst to her, these moments would be the last moments they would have together. he allows himself to sleep with her in his arms, to experience happiness, for one last night. two hours before sunrise, though, he pulls away from her. he licks her forehead, and as she stirs, he whispers that he is so sorry for what he is about to do. he licks her one more time, before pressing his body against hers and telling her to go back to sleep. she obliges, and as soon as she is asleep, he pulls away.

"goodbye, CAT NAME," he murmurs as he looks back at her one last time. then, all he can do is leave, knowing that his heart will be left in this clan with that girl.
