Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bloodyhearts has escaped WinterClan, but it didn't really improve his living conditions or outlook on life. He wasn't welcome anywhere. SunClan wouldn't take him back even if he wanted it and he'd made a proper enemy out of all of the other groups. All he had left was his dear friend Gingersnap, but for how long? She was always so cheery but she had to be suffering, too. After all, she'd picked his side, and nothing good ever happened to him or those he loved.
It took several moons in prison but Bloodyhearts eventually came to terms with the fact that the best place for Gingersnap was with her family in DayClan. It was maybe that last place he wanted to go... err, second to last place... but she wouldn't go if he didn't.
"DayClan during leaf-fall puts FallClan to shame," He said to Gingersnap as the multicolored leaves of DayClan's trees came into view. They'd crossed the border some time back but were only just starting to get away from the evergreens and closer to the heart of the territory, "Of course, they'd be prettier in the daytime, but they look nice enough at night, too..."
Gingersnap lagged behind as usual, her head tilted back, paws clumsily twirling herself past every root and tree as she stared up in wonderment at the bursts of auburns, golds, and rust colors above her head. "It's been so long since we've seen daylight and trees and fresh air," Gingersnap remarked. Of course, she got a deal to be let out daily to train a WinterClan apprentice. But for some reason, ever since they left WinterClan Gingersnap had been looking over her shoulder. Probably inferring someone was going to come track them down.
"Hey, uncle Bloody," She said suddenly plummeting down from the tree in front of him when only moments ago she had been walking along the path, "what are we doing here?" She asked, her head tilting to the side.
"Hopefully to just take a nice peaceful stroll," Arcticsong said, making her way out of a bush or at least trying to. A root had gotten stuck on her back leg, causing Arcticsong to pull until it unexpectedly released her, sending her flying to the ground. Picking herself up like nothing happened, she straightened herself up looking angrier than ever at the two... Okay, well, Arcticsong never really got angry so it was more like mild frustration, but for her that was probably an outright rage, "You left WinterClan, after I vouched for both of you and let you have time out!" She exclaimed, marching over to them, "We need to get back now or Wintrystar might not like me anymore. She's not friendly to people who were close to the Sun God and I don't want to be like Bluejay!"
Gingersnap blinked at everything Arcticsong said before smiling brightly and waving her paw at her, "Oh hey, you tagged along too!"
"We are---" Bloodyhearts began only to be cut off by Arcticsong's somewhat grating trill. Pinning his ears back and letting out a sigh, the ginger-furred tom turned to glance back at their tracker only to witness her not-so-elegant fall. It caused him to let out another sigh and lift his paw up to his temple, putting pressure on it like he had a headache, "Arcticsong, you should be able to tell this a little more than a 'peaceful stroll' since we are being stealthy and moving at night. But to clear up any confusion - We're escaping WinterClan," He glanced over at Gingersnap, who he was coincidentally answering while also lecturing Arcticsong, "and, hopefully, joining DayClan." Since there's no other Clan that would take me in, he added silently, but she didn't need to know that.
"You should go back to WinterClan before they notice we're gone. As a former SunClan cat yourself, a couple of former SunClan prisoners escaping while you are also unaccounted for is not going to look good."
