Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Since DayClan had been captured by SunClan and was now released they had come back to their territory only to realize they were snowed out. For this reason Glowstar resorted to staying in the Keepers Mansion, a choice that wasn't too unpopular considering DayClan had done it last leafbare.
The Keepers Mansion was dark, but probably the warmest camp they've ever had. Sure there were a few cold breezes that got in, but given it was a two-leg structure it offered them a significant amount of shelter than any other clans camp. The only problem was the absolute lack of materials such as prey and herbs which lead to the reason why Glowstar had called Coulterspring and Sunnyblaze to the front entrance of the mansion.
"Flyingcolors and Vixenpaw have collected all the herbs in the Keepers Mansion garden which has supplied us with a lot of borage, but not much else. I recall when we used to claim territory closer to thunderpath that there were many herbs that flourished there. I'm assigning each of you the task of finding herbs for our clan. It's very dangerous out and with such high tensions with SunClan you'll need to be sure not to drift too close to their border. Once you get into the woodland area you'll be okay. It is why I'm assigning with you Mistyveil, WinterClan's medicine cat. She knows all about wintry landscapes and herbs and will be able to help you find some. Her clan assisted in our rescue and I agreed that any two herbs you find she can keep one. Is that understood?" Glowstar asked.
Coulterspring slunk around the shadows of the Keeper's Mansion and headed for Glowstar when she saw her sinewy figure. After she heard what she had said, Coulterspring nodded. Her heart started to beat faster and faster. Glowstar herself was sending her on her first job! She knew being assigned to this job would bring her great opportunities.

Sunnyblaze perked up when he heard he'd being going on a job with the pretty she-cat. Of course, he probably had no shot with and honestly maybe think of mates isn't a good idea on a task like this.

"Understood completely." Sunnyblaze nodded. He glanced over, noticing how excited Coulterspring looked at the assignment. I hope she's fun. I don't think I'd be able to work with a serious cat. Sunnyblaze, get out of your own head. With a quick shake of his head, his thoughts disappeared. "Are you ready to go, Coulterspring?"
Coulterspring turned at the sound of a voice next to her. She nodded excitedly. "Of course! Are you ready?" she asked playfully, raising a brow. She didn't have a lot of experience working in herbs, but she was glad a medicine cat would be coming along.

Sunnyblaze nodded. "Let's go!"
He padded out of the camp and into the woody area. He thoughts were focused on getting the precious herbs he needed for the clan, but the kept straying to other unnecessary thoughts. He had never gone over to WinterClan territory, but he wasn't looking forward to the cold mountain air or snow. He looked over at Coulterspring.
(Sorry for the delay, I lost my hamster in real life and I've been trying to look for her, no luck so far, but I'm back now)
Glowstar walked away seeing the pair move to the exit.
At the bottom of the steps was a long furred she-cat, her fur so long that her fur seemed to flow down her neck like a glossy mane. She was like two possessed beings, her fur and eyes vertically cut in half. Hot rosy peach fur radiated like light shining through pink clouds on her left half. Icy shimmery Russian blue blurred on the other half like light shining through fog. Her right eye was a rare turquoise shade while her left was haint blue with glittery gold specks.
"I'm Mistyveil," The medicine cat introduced, but didn't so much more.
Coulterspring nodded. "This is my first time having a job in the clan, and this is my first assignment. I never feel like I'm doing enough." she said, and glanced towards Mistyveil. "Hello," she could tell the she-cat was a quiet one. The look in her eyes gave her a feeling that raised the fur along her spine. "Are you ready to go?" she asked.
(Thanks guys ^-^ And yeah, writer block gets us all at some point xD)
"Hello," Mistyveil said back before looking at Sunnyblaze, "Compared to your prey, I suppose our prey is well. But your sunnier clans thrive better almost all year round so after leafbare, we'll be back to making ends meet I suppose, but we're not suffering from prey, so. Good," She nodded, instead of just simply saying prey was running well like any normal cat would reply back rather than analyzing the whole thing, "Is prey running well for all of you?"
She padded forward deciding to pick a direction, but figuring they would each branch off they smelled an herb nearby.

Sunnyblaze looked at her with a confused expression. Alrighty then. "The prey is running well for us as well. Of course, our herb supply is low. Only if poppy seeds and marigold were as plentiful as prey!" he said cheerfully. He sniffed the air deeply. "Ah, still no herbs. DayClan really is lacking the herbs needed to take care of the clan."
"Dead," Mistyveil said matter of factly before adding, "WinterClan naturally grows only seven herbs. five out of these seven herbs do the exact same thing. If anyone has a belly ache, needs improved hair growth, or needs to alleviate light pains that's WinterClan's specialty. We also have this one herb that I noticed improves memory, but the worst herb we have is one that cures bee stings. What kind of world gives WinterClan, the place that hardly has a sliver of summer to even have bugs let alone give bees anytime to make a hive in our frigid weather? This is the problem WinterClan has, our herb supplies are low, we don't even have poppy seeds. You may be struggling right now, but this is us no matter what the season."
She looked over the horizon, "I guess we can head for thunderpath now."
Coulterspring wasn't the type to bring fun into a serious situation, but Mistyveil seemed very serious.. all of the time. She sighed and nodded. "Sure. But that sounds terrible. Seems like WinterClan needs to rethink their entire idea." she said, not even knowing the extent of everything WinterClan, and Mistyveil alone was going through.
Mistyveil's face lit up at the idea as she let out a short laugh that sounded more like a huff of air, "Heh. Yeah. WinterClan and change, that would be hilarious. Come on, you guys are probably better at scenting out your own herbs than me," She said, her tail swayed to the side as she headed in the direction of thunderpath. As she walked she asked, "Does DayClan accept change such as rethinking ideas?"
Coulterspring shrugged. "Well, sure. If the clan doesn't agree with it, it doesn't happen. There seems to be a lot of other cats whom don't believe in the stuff that.. WinterClan is doing." she said, referring to the grim sacrifices.

Sunnyblaze popped in between them. "Ladies! Let's not get so dark now! We still have a bunch of herbs to go collect now! So we best be hurrying along!"
She walked past the two, but slowed down to be closer to Sunnyblaze's side deciding to stay at his pace, "As I was saying, is thunderpath the best location to find herbs in DayClan or are there other places you typically find herbs. I am a medicine cat of WinterLCan, I can find places under the snow."
