Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Larkwing paced the Nightclan camp. Something wasn't right. He could feel it. He had to go see if Burningstar and the rest of his clan was okay. He rushed out of camp and headed toward the border. Nightclan would be okay if anything happened. Burningstar had a few lives left right? She would manage without him. She did for a long time already. He kept close to the shadows, making sure he was upwind so they wouldn't scent him. He came near the prisoner camp and saw Foxstar talking with Burningstar. He pricked his ears to hear what they were saying. He couldn't hear much but he managed to hear that Foxstar was keeping the Nightclan cats prisoners now. He knew something was wrong. He had to find help.
He scented a Renegade patrol. Were they here to help? He sure hoped so, they could use it. Larkwing followed the scent and soon came upon the patrol. "Elsie!" He called. He hoped he had her name right. "I'm glad to see you. Burningstar, Glowstar, and Peachstar are all captured down there along with their clans. Burningstar had gone to investigate with a few of her clanmates and now Foxstar won't let them leave"
Dayclan
Windchaser had been watching everything from the bushes, waiting for the rescue patrols to show up. She knew Winterclan and Renegade were planning on helping. She recognized Larkwing and rushed over. "I'm here to help" she told them.
DayClan Illuminatedpaw had followed Windchaser and hehurried after her to go to Larkwing and the renegade patrol. "I'm here to help too!" He said tail lashing.
NightClan Burningstar looked at Foxstar for a long moment then she sagged. Glancing at Glowstar and then refocused on Foxstar. She didnt get it. Glowstar had said numerous times Foxstar was like a sister to her. And yet Foxstar did all this to her. Why?
Burningstar knew she was guilty of helping things reach this point. Sitting back and pretending that as she guarded these prisoners she was somehow limiting the damage they were doing.
But Foxstar did this without having the threat of blackmail hanging over her head. This was what Foxstar had wanted. And a part of Burningstar got it.
At first shed been thrilled a bit by the power, the victory... until reality sank in.
But once the excitement, the feeling of power was replaced with the reality of the pain, the struggle for little. DayClans territory was frozen over and SpringClans territory too far to reap rewards of. And in fact had cost her another patrol of warriors to WinterClan.
She just didnt see why Foxstar wanted to continue.
Or was she just... tired but didnt want to relent.
Or she couldnt relent because the three groups before her werent strong enough to prove a big enough threat for her to let them go without looking weak.
Windchaser looked at Illuminatedpaw fondly. She was so glad her friend offered to go with her. And she was so glad they were friends. Windchaser shook her head to clear it and turned to the patrol. This wasn't the time for sentimental feelings. They needed a plan.
Glowstar walked backwards past Foxstar, "Oh noooo, she's escaaaaping. Cut her head off," She snickered trying to pretend like she was taking this seriously, "C'mon Foxy, I know my odds. And fact is you're right, SunClan could still take us both down, but the thing is not enough of them know there's a situation. So if we did run plus the fact that we're used to running due to our field lands, we can out run you. And if you attack me, you'll have to fight Burningstar, Mercurycrown, Eternallaughter, and Voidedmemories. Any who, let's pack it up and leave before they get smart," Glowstar said.
SUNCLAN
Autumngossamer tackled Fawnheart down to the ground attempting to pin her in place while her claws quickly pressed into the medicine cats throat enough to make her bleed to show she wasn't messing around, "I said everyone SIT DOWN. No one is going anywhere."
"What the heck is going on?" Luna asked, entering with a squirrel in her mouth that slipped right past her gaping jaw as she saw half of her clan mates up to leave and the other half looking uncertain with Foxstar of all people in the camp. Not to mention Heatherpaw having her claws up against a medicine cat of all cats!
"Grab Flyingcolors, Luna, they're trying to leave," Autumngossamer commanded her friend.
RENEGADE REGIME
"Did anyone else here someone just yell SIT DOWN. Like, I'm shook. Literal goosebumps," Sean said to the patrol of cats with him.
He closed his exotic green eyes trying to hear where the echo was coming from before walking off in the direction, "I think they're over here."
Fawnheart shrieked in surprise as she was thrown to the ground, her breath knocked from her lungs. She was desperately trying to catch her breath but Autumngossamer's paw was on her throat. "Are you really going to hurt a medicine cat?" she managed to croak out, her voice so low, it was barely a whisper.
Dayclan
Windchaser followed Sean. "Do you have a plan?" She asked him, Larkwing right behind her.

RENEGADE REGIME
"Hello, Larkwing." She was surprised at the Nightclan deputies sudden appearance but greeted him quietly. Her ear flicked and she nodded at Sean's words, "How could you possible miss that? Either a Sunclan apprentice is having a temper tantrum or we found our cats." There was a hint of amusement in her voice. Sometimes these clan cats could be so dramatic.
DAYCLAN (EDITED)
Flyingcolors hissed at Autumngossamer as she held the Springclan medicine cat down. "You would not dare kill a medicine cat, even your sun god can not protect you from that wrath." She hissed at her, glancing at her half-sister Eclipsepaw who was referred to as Luna among Sunclan these days. She wasn't sure if the apprentice would tackle her as ordered or stand with Dayclan, but she could never imagine that the she-cat would ever kill her.
"Don't get ahead of yourselves," A tense voice chided. "Sean, Elsie, remember who's leading this patrol."
Mercenary Superior Gardenia emerged from the shrubbery behind the two felines, shaking the dead leaves from her long blonde fur. Striking golden eyes lingered on the Nightclan Deputy for a moment. She was slightly concerned that the tom was on a name-basis with one of her Mercenaries, but she quickly shook the thought away; they had more pressing matters to deal with right now. The she-cat stood tall in front of the clan cat, partly showing off the deep claw scars that were scattered across her chest, neck, and shoulder. This clearly wasn't someone who should be treated lightly.
"Larkwing, I assume?" She dipped her head to him courteously. "My name is Gardenia, you could say that I am one of the Regime's Deputies. Commander Mars sends his regards, along with orders for us to...persuade Sunclan to give Dayclan and Springclan their freedom. Looks like we've arrived at a good time."
Whitepaw had quietly watched the older cats near the makeshift camp's entrance, bordering on cowering behind Fawnheart. He didn't want things to end up with fighting - he had hardly gotten an opportunity to start his medicine cat training, let alone been able to learn how to even sort of defend himself - but it seemed that was the way things were heading, especially when Autumngossamer sprang at his mentor.
The bobtailed apprentice scrambled backwards with a yelp of alarm. Mismatched eyes went wide as he exclaimed, "You're not supposed to attack medicine cats!" Right? That seemed to be the almost unspoken rule. That medicine cats were all but exempt from battle because it was dishonorable to attack someone who had learned to heal instead of cause harm. His fur was fluffed up, tuft of a tail sticking up as high as it could as he wondered if he should try to knock Autumngossamer off of Fawnheart. He didn't know how to fight. For all he knew, he would only make things worse if he tried to save his mentor.
SUNCLAN
Frustration broke through, spiking up her fur as Glowstar spoke. "I don't have to do anything," she growled, claws digging in for a moment. "The only cats who can even dream of telling me what to do are-" She broke off mid-sentence when Foxstar stepped into the camp, gaze darkening with just a hint of a smirk on her face as she pulled her paws away from Glowstar to stand on all fours. There was one of those cats. With the High Priestess here, Glowstar couldn't stand even half a chance at being able to escape. There was only a flicker of surprise when the fox-furred she-cat focused more on Burningstar's presence than on the attempt to escape, but she shook it off quickly. Either way, DayClan and SpringClan wouldn't get away.
Her claws dug into the ground as Glowstar started to back away, tail lashing at what she said. "I have a feeling they'll have plenty to deal with if things come to that," she growled, referring specifically to herself and the other Janus, though many of the surrounding cats might assume she was only talking about SunClan's warriors in general. If Foxstar decided to attack either of the leaders standing before her, anyone who rose to defend them would have to get through the Janus first, and in their current state Twistedecho was confident most of the cats still in the makeshift camp would never be able to stand against a Janus trained to fight and kill.
NightClan Squirrelleap snarled and with a leap fitting of his name crashed into Autumngossamer. "No you sit down. And keep your paws to yourself!" He said as he tried to shove her away from Fawnheart.
Bleakpaw bounded over to Flyingcolors and hissed at Luna. "Yeah, StarClan will get you one way or another." He added to Flyingcolors words.
Burningstar turned towards Squirrelleap who had attacked Autumngossamer. She opened her mouth then closed it, turning her head to refocus on Foxstar once more. "Let them leave Foxstar, you lose nothing by just letting it end." She implored the SunClan leader. "If it's about power, you've proven what you're capable of, after the gathering with the news of what happened," at the execution "Cats know you're powerful and fearsome. This doesn't prove anything anymore. This doesn't give you anything."
She knew it was likely a lost cause but she had to try, even though she tensed. Worse came to worse, though she might not lay down and offer Foxstar the lives she demanded, she'd be willing to lose them if it made a large enough distraction so SpringClan and DayClan could escape.
SunClan
Skipstep tensed moving to stand near Foxstar ready to strike on her command.
DayClan
Illuminatedpaw followed after Windchaser, ears pricked forwards listening hard for any sounds signaling that a cat was coming towards them. He shivered with tension and anticipation, soon they'd be free.

WINTERCLAN
Leatherstar lead his patrol into the SunClan territory, After the raid on DayClan's unprotected territory the few who remained there had convinced him to offer his aid. But really he had selfish reasons for this venture. He would risk few thane in this confrontation. For his plan reached beyond the release of SpringClan and DayClan. He flicked his tail as commotion rose int he distance.
Hearthfire bristled next to him as they continued.
WinterClan Crimsonrose trotted alongside Leatherstar tail held high, amber eyes gleaming with excitement. This was what she lived for, and she was eager to sink her claws into any SunClan cats they happened to come across.
Her ears pricked and she opened her mouth scenting the air. "Hmm, it seems someone else might have had a similar idea," She meowed to Leatherstar, jerking her head in the direction of the regime cats she was detecting. "Shall we convene with them and combine our efforts or shall we continue on as we are?" The shard asked.

WINTERCLAN
Leatherstar cast Crimsonrose a glance. He had scented them as well. "No let them take their flank and we will keep to ours. To surround the prison camp and sink some nervous fear in the SunClan cats. Glowstar wants this to pass with no bloodshed." he flicked and ear. "NO-BLOODSHED-CRIMSON" he emphasized before pulling ahead and ducking into the brush to peer out at the clearing.
WinterClan Crimsonrose sighed heavily and rolled her eyes heavenwards. "If you insist." She said with a huff. "But I will say that I massively disapprove of us not at least trying to give SunCult what for."
Peachstar narrowed his eyes as his sight slowly adjusted to the scene before him. "What the hell? I was asleep for, like, ten minutes," he muttered in disgust, looking around at the chaos surrounding him, "and they all started the revolution without me?" He rubbed a paw over his face, hoping to slink back out of the action and somewhere where hopefuly nobody would notice him. "Psst, Thane!" he hissed, looking around for the tom's distinctive burly form. "Where'd you go?!" ( sorry this is a short reply, i can't parse all that happened in this thread yet xD )
Vixenpaw had grown a lot over the last moons, but that didn't mean she was brave enough to stand tall against Foxstar. by herself. It was a good thing the young Medicine Cat Apprentice wasn't by herself. She was more than ready to return home.
Larkwing held Elsie's gaze for much too long before turning his attention to Gardenia and politely dipped his head, "Yes. I'm Larkwing, Nightclans deputy. Thank you for coming. Nightclan will honor this."
Dayclan
Windchaser gave Illuminatedpaw a determined look but there was a hint of fear in her green eyes. Windchaser was never one to cower down but what she had to put up with for two moons with Sunclan has given her nightmares every night. She just wanted to get in, rescue the prisoners, and leave.
Winterclan Frostcloud stayed silent waiting for Leatherstar to give word. *No bloodshed, huh?" She repeated in her mind. *Well, I guess we will see how well that will turn out.*
Springclan
As soon as Squirrelleap attacked Autumngossamer, Fawnheart leaped to her paws and wrapped her tail protectively over her apprentice, Whitepaw. "Remind me to battle train you." There was a slight amusement in her voice but it was mostly drowned out by fear and shock.
Foxstar was growing tired of dealing with the other clans before her. And when she got impatient, she took things to the extremes. Her claws flicked out, and in an instant, blood blossomed across Burningstar's throat, running down the NightClan leader's front and coating the paw of SunClan's High Priestess as her gaze turned to Glowstar. "That's one. I'll count it as payment for Burningstar's actions at the execution and for trespassing on SunClan land. Now, unless you're offering up two more of her lives for your freedom, I suggest everyone listens to Autumngossamer and sits down. Unless they want to be next, of course." Her tone was calm, but there was a dangerous edge to it. Even injured, she was a threat, and those present would do well not to take her presence lightly. None of these cats were going anywhere, no while she could stop them, anyway.
WINTERCLAN
Dealfinder wasn't sure why Leatherstar had chosen to bring him.... No actually, the former SunClan tom knew exactly why. It was probably to annoy Foxstar, given that he was her son and all. Not to mention his striking resemblance to his father, albeit younger, and with significantly less scars. Whatever the WinterClan leader's reasoning for bringing him along, however, the tom trotted faithfully along, secretly glad that they weren't supposed to spill blood today.
Springclan Fawnheart's eyes widened and she ran to the Nightclan leader's side. She turned a hateful look toward Foxstar "this has gone too far, Foxstar!" She hissed, crouching beside Burningstar.
NightClan Burningstar didnt have a second to react before her throat was sliced open and blood covered her front. Turning her ginger fur dark scarlet. She drew in a ragged gasp and coughed struggling to draw in breath as she collapsed to the ground. Her mind already turning hazy from bloodloss and shock.
There was pain, but mostly just shock. Shock at how quickly it had happened, and then haziness amber eyes looked up at Foxstar. She distantly heard the she cat speak something to glowstar, before her vision faded and she lost her first life.
Squirrelleap was shocked by how quickly and easily Foxstar snatched a life from Burningstar. And in spite of her injuries.
The tabby tom glared at Autumngossamer before darting over to his leader a few steps behind Fawnheart.
Bleakpaw stiffened as did Fernshadow as their leader lost a life. Looking between her limp body and to Foxstar, the gravify of the situation seeming to return once more.
They would not be leaving as easily as they had from the execution.
Foxstar's gaze turned to Fawnheart and Squirrelleap, focusing on the former as she spoke. This time, however, she angled her body so as to keep Glowstar in her peripherals. She didn't need a repeat of the execution, and she could already feel blood dripping from a few injuries she'd reopened due to the sudden movement. It wasn't that bad, but it was a warning not to overdo it, nonetheless. "Are you offering yourself up next?" She questioned, claws still extended in case anyone decided to make a move against her orders.
DAYCLAN
Fia Cendrillon stood in the shadows, watching Glowstar intently, waiting for the order to attack. She wanted to kill them all, and she could do it, she knew she could, but she wasn't going to attack if her grandmother said not to. Still, she definitely considered murdering Autumngossamer. The Janus was annoying at best, and Fia really thought that this clan's deity was insane if he thought she'd be useful in any position she'd been given.
Eternallaughter growled lowly, standing close to Peachstar as he watched everything go down. Glowstar could handle herself, he was more concerned with keeping the rest of SpringClan and DayClan safe. Though he too, didn't attack immediately, his claws flicked out, willing to fight his way free with even the slightest indication from Glowstar. Foxstar was a monster, and she deserved to pay for her actions.
