Joypaw pounced onto the mouse before her with a loud squeak. "I DID IT!!!" She cheered loudly, one paw firmly on top of the mouse. SHe hadn't yet caught anything, so she was really proud of her first catch. Only in her joy, she forgot something rather important.... To kill it. While she wasn't paying attention it wiggled out of her paws and darted off with her giving chase "NO COME BACK LITTLE FRIEND!!!" uniqcrim

She pounced and trapped the wriggling creature under her paws which emitted a faint purple glow and killed it with one bit. "Thanks for the mouse," She grinned, dangling the mouse next to her head.

"Conspiracy theory? What is a conspiracy theory?" she questioned tilting her head. She had never heard of that before. Was it something that she could eat?

She rolled her eyes and blew the curl of hair covering them off away a tad. "You know things look one way but then there's something else going on under the surf- nevermind you wouldn't get it." She sighed dramatically. No one understood her. "Whatever. What would you do for this measly little mouse?" She smirked with amusement. The other apprentice was cute and probably fun to be around.

Joykit really didn't get it, but it wasn't all that surprising. She was rather sheltered, being the daughter of the High Priestess "I don't know... what do you want me to do?" she asked innocently

"Mmm.... run as fast as you can and see if you can jump and hit the bottom branch of that tree. If you can I'll give you the mouse. If you can't, you don't get the mouse."

Joypaw looked at the tree and then back at the apprentice "That seems easy enough..." joypaw ran forward at top speed, her paws digging into the sand and sending a cloud of dust into the air. Her back legs bunched as she leapt at the branch, her paws just narrowly missing the branch as she came crashing back down "Drats"
