Night had fallen across SunClan, and most of the clan was asleep including Vividpaw. But this night... her dreams would be one that she wouldn't forget.
Vividpaw would awaken in a cold forest, waves of mist floating through the gray line of trees. The tall oaks standing guard overhead, it was eerily quiet. No birds chirping or crickets chirping. No matter what direction she choose to walk in, the scenery never seemed to change. Jadie
Vividpaw's golden eyes fluttered open and she took a deep breath of the gold, heavy air. Even half-awake she could tell she was somewhere new, somewhere she wasn't sure she was supposed to be. Getting to her paws, the snow-white she-cat shivered against the cold breeze, despite being genetically well suited for it it was foreign and uncomfortable.
"Hello?" She called out cautiously, lifting up a paw and then slowly placing it back against the cold, grayish earth. Vividpaw felt like she was being watched but had no evidence to support it, "Is anyone there? I'm... lost."

Snow began to gently fall from the sky, landing softly upon the little kit's fur. When two cats talking to each other emerged from the trees "Hurry dear sister, we musn't be late" chastised the older cat staring down at the younger cat who couldn't have been much more than a kit. The older cat had long blue-gray fur and mis-matched eyes. One golden, one green. The kit at his side was doing her best to keep up with the larger stride of the warrior, but was so small that it was nearly an impossible task "Father entrusted me to take you to the gladiator ring. He wants you to be there to see your mother's sentencing"
The little silver she-cat had her fur fluffed up against the cold, but she didn't seem to notice Vividpaw at all. Not even pausing as the pair walked directly past Vividpw. Her little whiskers passing through Vividpaw's form, though she wouldn't feel a thing.
"Do you think father will show her mercy?" the kit asked as they began to disappear into the tree line. The cheering of a crowd being heard in the distance
"Excuse me," Vividpaw's eyes lit up as she saw the two strangers approaching her. Finally, someone to help get her home! She approached the cats without much caution and bowed her head toward them in a show of respect and submission, "I'm not sure how I got here, but I need to get home. Can you take me---"
Her voice trailed off as did the two cats. She went through a wide range of emotions after that: confusion, annoyance, anger. As sweet and friendly as she was, Vividpaw did not like to be ignored.
"Excuse me." She repeated louder, running ahead of the two cats and standing right in front of them, "I need some help!"
