Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Blessed staff bonding thread and go! Plus Howlingnight because like she wouldn't have him at every meeting lol
Wintrystar had recently given birth to her latest litter, leaving many clan duties to fall on others, especially her newly appointed Heir. The last ceremonies were tiring. Youths promoted, students given warrior names, a daughter was banished, a Pupil was assigned, and an Heir was presented. It was a lot for one day, and only days later she had her kits. Now she lounged on the edge of her den, a paw dangling over the side, her mate behind her with their newest litter at his paws asleep. A meeting was to take place in a moment between her and her staff. Things were changing. She'd missed the latest gathering due to the birth of her children, but she knew what had happened, Howlingnight, Indigocrown, and Agonywail had gone in her place to collect information and understand what was happening. Her mate was a cat she could trust, and while she trusted her staff, she had needed Rosehade here and thus also her pupil Blackpaw. The Heir was too new and thus could not be allowed to make decisions on her part and her knight had gone for his wisdom to help Indigocrown learn what their new role commanded. It was unfortunate timing, her kitting, but it wasn't something she could help.

Being announced as heir came as a surprise to Indigocrown, but she had accepted the position and the duties that came along with grace. It was an honor to be chosen to help lead her clan, even if the she-cat had much to learn. She was not a particularly young warrior and had some life experience under her fur at least. It was interesting, the back and forth, the gathering, the advice that the others had to offer her. She was grateful that they did not fling her into the midst without a second thought and fearful of making a fool of herself. It was not a common emotion for her, but her anxiety had been at an all time high so she expended more energy masking that. Surely it would settle down as time went on. Indigocrown did not want to be inadequate and was terrified of not meeting Wintrystar's and Winterclan's expectations of her.
She dipped her head in respect to her leader as she approached, still feeling a bit awkward around her. She was still really understanding what kind of cat sat in front of her outside of being a mother, mate, and devoted leader. It was somehow reassuring to see all three rolled into one. "Good Afternoon, I see the little ones are content," despite not caring much for kits it was a heartwarming scene.
Wintrystar chanced a glance at her bundles of joy, a soft smile on her normally hard face. "yes, hopefully they sleep through the whole meeting." Her eyes went to the entrance, waving the cat further in and seeing in anyone else was behind her so they could start the meeting soon. Decisions had to be made about the Knight of the Stars and Knight of the Guards positions as they'd been empty for far to long now. Order needed to be returned to WinterClan now that they'd lost in their war against DayClan and the Regime.

Agonywail stepped in behind the newly named heir and sat quietly on the side of the room. His gaze was drawn to the new kittens, but it did not linger. He wanted to have kits of his own someday, but he was not quite there yet.
Deathreign took one last gulp of fresh air and ducked into the den, scooting his way around to sit near his mother. Despite the several minutes he had spent preparing for this meeting, he was sweating under the pressure; every powerful cat in the clan was in this room, and if he slipped up for even a second, they would notice it. Now that Gardeniapaw was gone, he felt lonelier than ever. His siblings were still here but they would be so upset with him if he ruined his image right now.
The dark tom swallowed hard, then lifted one paw to study his paws, flexing them in and out, in and out. He schooled his expression into something impatient and bored like he couldn't wait for this meeting to end. That part was true enough.
Wintrystar smiled and gave a nod to her son, she'd asked hi to come today as she planned to nominate him as a knight. All she needed was for the rest of the Blessed to be aware of her decision, and support it of course. Her eyes moved from him to around the room. "Who's still missing?" The words were spoken in a tone that stated she knew, but was wondering where they were and what their hold up was on not arriving by now.

It took a while for Roseshade to tuck in her sister's three kits into the nursery, after finally getting them to sleep. They didn't like it when she left them, and even though she knew they were fine with Garsparkling it broke her heart a little every time she had to leave them. Since her sister's death she had been very much lost. Simply going through the motions of anything not directly related to the kits. Lord Borealis had freed her, but now she had no direction. Her marriage to Robinring that she had spent so long fighting was over. She was no longer being forced to remain as the clan's witch. The only thing that kept her here at all was the three little ones in the nursery. The ones she had sworn to look over.
She padded quietly into the den, taking up her spot off to the side. She made a mental note to do a quick check on Wintrystar's kits after the meeting, but she didn't think she would come across any problems. They had all seemed healthy enough thus far.
Wintrystar eyed the witch with caution. Lord Borealis had spoken to her informing her that the witch was allowed and welcomed to leave her position in the clan. The Sovereign was merely waiting for her to come forward and announce her resignation, somethings he was sure would be happening at this meeting. Soon they'd need to start looking for another pupil as Blackpaw would take her role as Warlock of the clan and be taught by the prisoner Amberbird until he was truly finished with his training. So two knights would need chosen and they would probably need to begin talks of potential future pupils for Blackpaw. Even if it was moons before he chose a student to training under him as pupil, it was good to keep an eye on the youths of today for potential in them for the role. Though, Wintrystar prayed that Roseshade would see reason and stay in her role as she truly wanted to get rid of that prisoner so they could wash their hands of needing outside help to train their healers.

"They seem to be caught up outside of the meeting," Indigocrown replied to Wintrystar as she took mental roll of those who were there. She peered curiously at Deathreign, but did not question his presence and assumed Wintrystar had invited him. She wondered if they would move forward without the missing knights but held her tongue from saying anything further.
