Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Aspenstar looked a little troubled, but it wasn't uncommon for her to look this way. For once, though, she wasn't using her troubled nature to harass a warrior into doing some probably horrible, half dangerous task. Instead, she just looked at the sky. There was a storm coming, it was apparent by the dark clouds that were hovering. In the distance, a crack of thunder rung through the sky. Just what she needed, the weather to match her mood. Her tail twitched slightly as she watched the sky.

"Keep staring like that and you'll go cross eyed." As far as insults went, that was pretty mild for Pinesimmer, perhaps a side effect of the tom attempting to be at least slightly more tolerable than his usual self. Or maybe there was something on his own mind, he certainly seemed to be in thought himself, following her stare to the sky for a long moment in silence. "I'd call it an improvement but well...." He gestured vaguely at her, the implication obvious, despite the lack of utter contempt in his voice. He almost seemed tolerable, even.
"Just because I said I'd be nice to you doesn't mean I won't punch you in the face if you make another blind joke," she meowed with a sigh. This was a jab, but not the vicious ones he was used to. Her tongue was not nearly as barbed, and in fact, her tone was more similar to how she spoke to her inner circle than anything else. Strange. Another crack of thunder sent a shudder down her spine. This was going to be a bad one. "Thought for a thought?" she asked, tipping her head. It was a question that Oakleaf used to ask when he was committed to the whole mediator bit. You tell me what's on your mind, I'll tell you what's on mine. An even exchange, expected to be confidential and non-judgmental. Would Pinesimmer remember this? Could he forget?

"The best part is I wasn't referring to your eye. It's the only ounce of personality you have in your whole body." Pinesimmer answered, honestly having forgotten about her face. His ear twitched at Oakleaf's saying, and he resisted the urge to quip back that she had no right to take his mannerisms and use them. So he just let out a huff through his nose that might have been some semblance of a laugh and leaned back slightly. "Sure, the worst that could happen is one of us dying, I suppose."
