"I grew up in WinterClan, and there hawks were one of the main sources of prey. To catch a hawk you have to wait for it to land. You can bait them with food, live or dead. In the air they have the advantage, but on the ground they are clumsy and out of their element. When they land, grab the bend of their wing and crush it. WIthout their wings they can not fly. After that it is a struggle between you and the hawk. They are ferocious, and it takes a determined hunted to be able to best it"

"When I'm big enough I want to learn! Right now I'm too close to being bait sized," she gave a delicate cackle at the thought. It was a ridiculous bit of imagery but something about it amused her. "Will I ever get to see any other clans? It seems like they're all so unique. Where can I learn more about them? It seems it would be important."
(Not me digging for more information about what she does and doesn't learn because why not xD)

"As a Janus you will have plenty of opportunities to learn about the other clans. There will be times when I send you to other clans for missions, and the knowledge will come in handy" she paused, one ear flickering towards a sound in the distance "Perhaps when I go to visit Aspenstar next you can come along. They are our allies for now, and they have some interesting quirks that you might find interesting"

She perked up at that, accompanying Littlestar to visit with another leader would be a huge honor and one she would certainly take advantage of. "Oh, I would love that," she coughed awkwardly, "I mean, I would be honored to accompany you," but she couldn't help stifle a giggle at the awkward formality. So, being formal wasn't exactly her thing it seemed.

Littlestar smiled, letting her tail gently touch the other cat's shoulder "I have no doubt you will make me proud. I should be going to see Aspenstar again after the gathering. Is there anything you would like to know about NightClan before we go to prepare yourself?" Sure she could have simply told the young cat what she needed to know, but that went against he way of teaching. Sometimes the best lesson was learning how to ask the right questions
