Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"I saw her heading for DayClan's border, now I know she's going to attempt to leave. I want you to make it hurt when you bring her back. You know, scar her a few times to make sure she doesn't try it again. I know Luna, we grew up together and I know that she can initiate nicely into SunClan if her hope is dashed. Keep an eye on her, for me?"
Amber was an initiate herself, however she seemed to stand out among the DayClan prisoners. She came in and looked down on DayClan right away for their weakness and valued SunClan for taking in the weak. Since then she was interested in talking to other SunClan cats despite hating doing apprentice she took on the humility in order to join. More than that there were rumors that she would become the next Janus. Currently she was asking Bloodpaw as they were both apprentice aged and she knew enough about him to know that he could handle the job especially against another apprentice.
When Amber had approached him the ginger tom had been lurking around the out skirts of the SunClan camp. Close enough that if his siblings were looking for him they'd easily find him, yet far enough away that his mentor, Lastaffair, would not. It wasn't unlike the tom to avoid others, but it was even more so for others to actively search him out. Many had suspicions about what had happened with their mother, though none had questioned them, yet. The ginger tom had done as his siblings had requested, stay low and blend in, and he'd done that. Or at least tired to anyways. But, the older sh-cat he'd been assigned was a mouse tail away from snapping Bloodpaw's already limited patience.
So, he was trying to keep his distance from the cat that was supposed to be training him. The tom was already in an irritated mood and was almost about to snap at the rumoured next to be Janus. His penny copper eyes watched her with the same old same bored look. His eyes blinking slowly as she ordered him to track down and dag back a runaway. Bloodpaw was tempted to tell her to find someone else to play babysitter, but the fact that she as allowing him to harm the runaway had him thinking twice. His bored gaze took on a calculating stare before he let out a deep sigh and nodded his head. Staying low was something he couldn't seem to do no matter how hard he tried, so he may as well blend in. He rose from the sitting position he had been in turning his gaze away from Amber and heading towards where Luna had last been seen. "Can't make any promises about bringing her back alive if she refuses" he shot over his shoulder as he walked away.
(You're totally welcome to scar Luna or honestly anything that's not death, I'm pretty lenient with my characters on that sort of thing)
"Play nice!" Amber called back to him as if that was all she could be bothered to do to defend Luna's life.
Luna trudged through the snow, maybe her sister Dream couldn't make it out, but she'd leave SunClan for the both of them and get help. Maybe MoonClan could have some sympathy, after all they were attacked by the league so maybe they could feel a bit bad for them. She crossed into DayClan territory, she had already entered it earlier to chase after her prey and had noticed a shelter she could stay in to wait out any searches or blizzards. After all there was a reason no DayClan cats had tried to run back to their old territory, it was because there was no prey and more than that because the land was open fields it was easy to get trapped in blizzards or white outs. As she continued down the hill and into DayClan she could make out the distant rocky den a fox had probably used once long ago. It was enough for her to hide out in, but not hidden enough
Luna was a white she-cat, she blended in well, but clearly had kittypet blood. She had scottish fold ears that were folded over making it harder for her to hear, but her big eyes were almost like a hawks. She had grey stripes across her body that helped highlight her out of the snow a bit and noticed that just like the grey patterns of her fur the stone outline of the den would give her away. She began to quickly move the snow over the stone, not realizing that someone was already on her trail.
( For sure! Don't worry Bloodpaw won't kill her :') he's just being a snarky furball :'D )
Bloodpaw merely snorted at Amber's call as he exited camp and began tracking the runaway. He probably wouldn't kill the she-cat, probably. After it would probably end up being more trouble than it as worth. /Blend in/ his brother's order a constant echo in his head. So, if Aber wanted the she-cat back alive, he'd do so. Unlike Luna he didn't have to travel around worrying about hiding his tracks and avoiding detection. It was easy to pick up the apprentice's trail, one could only do so much to hide a trail in the snow. His pace was brisk and with purpose, the quicker he got this done the quicker he could go back.
Her scent was easy to pick out amongst the SunClan scent he'd grown accustomed to and it was even easier to follow her once she'd crossed into DayClan territory The scent there having grown stale over time, causing her's to stick out like a mouse in a dried up dirt field. The deep bored sigh he'd let out swirled into a white cloud in front of him before it vanished. He'd reach the top of the hill and his copper gaze barely made out the shape of something trying to cover up a den. A snort escaped him as he stalked down the hill at a slower and quieter pace now. He half hoped she'd notice him and runaway causing him to take her down, while the other hoped she'd quickly give in and return without to much of a fuss.
Luna patted the snow into place, she didn't notice Bloodpaw until he was out of the corner of her eye. She let out a gasp, mist escaping from her jaw as she clenched her muzzle shut and instantly ran from him. It was hard for her to feel confident, sure she knew the territory better than him, but that hardly helped literally anything when every landmark was buried under feet of snow. As she ran she didn't particularly know where she was running to. She couldn't go to NightClan, they would just hand her back over so it had to be MoonClan. MoonClan had to accept cats who wanted to join so they would chase Bloodpaw away. Running with everything in her she ran into a small grove to hopefully lose him among the small pocket of trees.
She weaved in a zig zag formation, her gaze so fixated to get to the MoonClan border that she never once looked back to see if Bloodpaw had gotten closer. Her instinct about matched that of a rabbit being preyed upon by a fox. Clenching her teeth she tried her best to outrun, but still had a kittypet like build with more stumpy legs than the typical long DayClan legs meant for running, "Please, don't do this!"
Bloodpaw outwardly groaned as Luna saw him and bolted. He really really didn't want to have to chase her down. Not because he didn't want to hurt her. Sun God no. He didn't want to waste so much energy on the act of catching her. He really wished Amber had asked someone else. His rolled his eyes before he picked up his pace, in a few strides he was sprinting after her. His longer legs almost doubling her own panicked steps. Unlike her, he wasn't wasting his breath and energy zigging this way and that. Every stride he took was calculated. No energy wasted. No mistakes. He knew where she would go. Her only possible sanctuary. MoonClan. His heart was thudding heavy in his chest, the blood roaring in his ears as the distance slowly closed between them. The difference between their training and builds showing. The tom had to give it to the she-cat, she was trying.
Bloodpaw had barely heard her plea over the slight wind and the rushing in his ears. He gave a breathy snort. Maybe if Lovepaw had been asked to chase her down, she'd have better luck pleading for her escape. Which was probably why Amber had chosen him to come to think of it. Her plea had more or less fallen on deaf ears, nothing would stop him from completing his task. The large gap had now shrunk, the fiery tom only a tail length or two behind Luna now. All it would take was a powerful lunge and he'd have her between his claws. "Give up, kitten. You aren't going to get away" his low toned voice almost bone-chilling as it carried with the wind.
(Sorry for the delay, I lost my hamster, still searching, but I'm back now)
"Is that how you get everyone to turn around? You're totally going to hurt me regardless," Luna said pressing on.
She didn't want to look back and see him a mouse length away. She didn't want to see the claws coming or the fangs clamping around her body. Her tail curled between her legs as she ran faster, but her might wasn't enough. She was already running as fast as she could. She couldn't even feel her own legs anymore and she knew it was taking a toll on her the way she wobbled and faltered ever so often and it was only dragging her closer to Bloodpaw. Whatever she did he was going to catch her it seemed, but she couldn't surrender to him. She had gotten so far already it felt almost painful to think of walking back with him. Plus how could he not report her? How could SunClan not punish her? Instead of trying to move herself even faster she worked on making her legs spray up snow in his face in an attempt to get away.
The scent of MoonClan was up ahead, she could already smell freedom and see the border. A little closer...
((oh gosh! htats totally fine! i hope you find them! D:))
The spraying of the powdered snow did little to affect the tom. In all honesty, it had only made him annoyed, and angry. He'd finally had enough chasing the she-cat, her attempts at trying to slow him down and lose him costing her more energy than it was worth. Bloodpaw was officially done with the game of cat and mouse. He gave out an annoyed breathy hiss, "I don't usually chase stupid runaways."
With a few more powerful strides and a well-timed lunge, he was in the air and his unsheathed clawed grasp dug into the backside of Luna. His claws sinking deep through her soft fur and to the even softer flesh underneath. Using his deadweight to knock her off balance and send them skittering to the ground in a flurry of powdered snow. A few tail-lengths away from the border.
