Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Add all of these to the list of reasons to murder Bloody if she saw him again. "Remind me to thank Discordantmelody and Mountainsound when I see them again." Brilliance stated simply, rather than rehashing her desire to murder her sister's ex. Littlestar would be able to see the darkness in her gaze well enough, at least, to understand exactly what she was thinking. Bloody better hope he never saw the light of day again.

She nodded in agreement, it was clear whom she had to thank for her daughter's life "Mountainsound managed to come in and save her life in the end, fixing Bloodystar's mistakes and keeping her from bleeding out. When she woke, Bloodystar dug his claws in even deeper. If she were to ever attempt such a feat again, not only would he drag her back from death but her kits would grow up knowing that their mother wanted them dead" Her claws dug into the soft moss, anger raising the hair along her spine "To hide her suicide attempt, Bloodystar placed the blame onto Ghostcrown. He accused him of trying to murder Jetfire, and ordered his execution. Ghostcrown had been the only one to show her any kindness, and Bloodystar wanted to get rid of him. He gave her two options... Watch him be executed, or to confirm the story and beg Bloodystar to show him mercy before the rest of the clan. If she confirmed the accusation Ghostcrown would be allowed to walk away, exiled instead of executed. She couldn't stand the thought of him being killed, nor his kits having to watch their father die. So she did what he wanted, played into exactly what he had wanted. She stood before the clan and lied. Called him a murderer, and asked for his life to be spared for the sake of his children"
"How did Mountainsound take that one?" Brilliance asked. It didn't seem in the healer's nature to just condemn a cat as a murderer for a lie. Did she even know of the arrangement? So many questions, ones she could only hope would be answered.

"I don't know" she admitted, "I was still imprisoned and only heard about the events later on... I was to angry to ask many questions, and she to emotional to answer them even if I had. All I could do was listen, to be there for her and show that I cared" Littlestar closed her eyes "Jetfire did her best to deal with things that she couldn't control, but she was broken. Having to throw herself into the role to keep her kits safe from harm. Telling herself lies to try and make sense of everything that had happened and protect the fragments of her soul that was left. She gave into her role as his mate, reality blurring with the fantasy that she had to live. I don't know when or how, but she gave in trying to make the most of her situation and find some shred of happiness where she could. Believing she was stuck and that there was no other path, she ended up pregnant with his kits... As broken and fragile as she was, she ended up pregnant... She felt so hopeless and alone, that she thought it would help to appease Bloodystar. That in carrying his kits, she would give herself some sort of protection. So she asked him for another litter before her newborns were even weaned. She thought if she had to live with things the way they were, at least something good would come of it" this was the point that Littlestar couldn't hold herself back from tearing up. Wishing more than anything that she could have been there for her daughter, to do something to change the way things had played out

"Perhaps not, but I am her mother... I can't stop everything bad in this world, but I caused this problem for her... I should have at the very least been there for her" it was guilt she didn't think she would ever be able to shake off "The day of the invasion, Bloodystar drugged her and her kits. He was afraid they would run off during the conflict, not foreseeing the fire that broke out in the camp "Ghostcrown came back for her, bringing along his brother Firetooth. Had they not carried her and the kits to safety, they would have been left to burn alive as Bloodystar fled"
"If you keep trying to be perfect, you'll only disappoint yourself time and time again." Brilliance commented. Of course Bloody left her. Good for nothing rat.

"but is it really better not to try?" Littlestar shook her head "After I was rescued, a story for another time, I ended up in DayClan where I heard rumors that she may have been spotted in SwiftClan. I went to investigate, and sure enough she was there. I was able to help their medicine cat with her difficult kitting. Only to find out.. it was their medicine cat Firetooth whom she eventually fell for"
"Trying is one thing, constantly beating yourself up for falling short is another." Brilliance snorted. "I would say I'm shocked that that's Jet's type, but clearly, cats who know how to heal is a trend. I hope this one at least treats her better."

"So far he seems dedicated to her. Even going so far as to come all the way to SunClan when he thought she might be in danger to find answers" she smiled a little thinking about the sassy way in which he had spoken to her
"And we saw how well that worked out for the last one. But SwiftClan is SwiftClan, so maybe that's just me overthinking. Does she seem happy this time?" That was also important. "Maybe we should plan a visit there, I haven't seen her in a long time."

"Yes, she does seem happy" she paused wit a dip of her head "She has decided to stay in SwiftClan with Firetooth and their kits. He has stepped in to fill the role their father, and as far as anyone else is concerned those kits are Firetooths" she paused, her tail flickering "I think she would like a visit from you. Even though she is building a life for herself in SwiftClan, she was worried that you and her other siblings would hate her for the things that she had done. She knows that me and your father are happy for her and that we don't blame her for any of it. .I think it would help her to know that the rest of you don't hate her either"
Brilliance, of course, had pretty much insisted on seeing Jetfire as soon as possible after the revelation that she was, in fact, alive. There was no dissuading her, not from anyone. Which was why Littlestar and Brilliance Kanoni were now stepping into SwiftClan's camp, and the Scout immediately was looking for the she-cat, rather impatiently, one might add. Once the tension died down, some things never changed, and Brilliance's boisterous spirit was one of them. "Alright, now where is she?" The Soldier questioned, barely managing to keep herself from shouting 'Jetfire' into the crowd to get her attention.

Jetfire had fallen asleep in the medicine cat den, even after her mate had ventured out to face the day. She had been up late checking in on all of her children, who were now apprentices. Several of them had health issues that had to be managed, and even now that her oldest litter was ready to become warriors she still had many a sleepless night. Health wise she was doing much better, the scar on her stomach finally sealed though she would bare it for the rest of her life. Her bones no longer jutted through thin broken skin, her face filling out now that she had enough food and without the hormones and kits taking her nutrition. Even her coat was becoming more glossy and sleek.
Hearing he sister's voice, her ears perked up. Of course she thought she was imagining it, but just as her head rested on her paws she heard it again. This time rising to her paws, and pushing through the flap on the tent that they were using as a den "Mother!" she chirpped cheerfully, before her eyes landed on Brilliantbeacon "Sister" she greeted, but her gaze fell to the ground. Her being here only meant one thing, that her mother had told her what had happened to her... She couldn't help but be nervous, would her sister hate her for the things she had done?
Brilliance threw caution to the wind the moment Jetfire appeared, and in the moment the other feline looked down, she was outright TACKLED in a hug by the large siamese. "I'm so glad you're okay." She looked better, and the Scout could tell she was in decent shape just by the feel of her fur. It had been long since they'd seen each other. After all, the last time Jetfire had seen Brilliance was in the aftermath of the she-cat attacking Bloodystar. Bones broken to the point she couldn't even stand, and even Mountainsound wasn't entirely sure if she'd make a proper recovery. If not for the former medicine cat, and the Regime's careful care, it was entirely possible she could have been lame, or even died, as a result. Yet here she was, able to run like she's never been injured at all. Certainly, her injuries hadn't dampened her spirit any, if nothing else.

Jetfire's blue gaze had been fixated on the ground, so she hadn't seen the tackle coming.
Out of instinct, she almost sent her back claws into her sister's unprotected underbelly to protect herself. Freezing just before she made contact when the words came tumbling out her lips. Ever since she had started to recover, she had been spending a lot of time honing her skills, never wanting to feel so helpless again... She was.. happy? She blinked, her paws slowly falling away as the tension she had been holding onto was released
"Are....Are you okay?"
The last time she had seen her sister she had been on death's door
Brilliance pulled back slightly to look into Jetfire's eyes, wearing a warm smile. "The Regime might be stuffy and dusty, but they're good healers. I'm right as rain, still dealing with idiots though, but what else is new? Apparently all toms in my vicinity just like to flaunt their lack of brains." She felt the tension releasing in her sister's body as she took a step back, allowing them both to get a good look at each other. For her part, the Scout was a lean and exceptionally fit, more so than she'd ever been in SunClan. She spent most of her time on her paws, walking, running, chasing prey all day, there was little in the way of youthful chubbiness left. Brilliance Kanoni was a Soldier through and through, by the looks of it, though she hadn't quite seemed to adopt a Soldier's attitude. "What about you? Mom tells me you're okay now, but I had to see it to believe it."

Jetfire nodded slowly looking up at her sister, but a smile was slowly starting to spread across her face "I am" she touched her nose to Brillince's cheek, before slowly getting to her paws "I'm getting stronger every day, and I finally found a place where I belong" her eyes seemed to light up as she spoke "Firetooth is incredible, we are partners. We work together and he doesn't treat me like some helpless victim that needs to be saved. He supports me, and I support him. He is the love of my life, and a wonderful father to our children. He always knows just what to say or do" she realized how much she was rambling, her face growing hot. However, she couldn't help it when she talked about Firetooth everything came tumbling out "You need to meet your neices and nephews while you are here, they will be excited to meet you"
Brilliance watched Jetfire closely as she spoke, searching for any telltale signs of the she-cat lying, but for all she could see, the she-cat truly seemed happy, and that made her relax a bit. She had never gushed so much about Bloodycrow as far as Brilliance could recall, and never so rambly. "I'd love to meet them! They must be getting big now right?"

She nodded "The older ones should be promoted to warriors during the next ceremonies, and the youngest ones just became apprentices" she purred warmly "I have to admit that it is strange not having a horde of kits following my every step" She had been forced into the role of mother for longer than she hadn't been. From nursing her siblings to her second litter, this was the first time since she had been an apprentice that she had gotten to rest and just focus on herself and her relationship with her mate "How long are you planning on staying? You should stay for a few days at least, it won't be a burden. Please?"
