Twistedkit sat outside the nursery, nearly glaring at every cat that went by. Why he was so angry today he didn’t know. Perhaps he’s just woken up on the wrong side of his nest, and of course it didn’t help that his breakfast tasted terrible… and he didn’t sleep well the night before… Okay, maybe there were a plethora of reasons why the young tom was in a foul mood. And today he seemed determined to let everyone know it.
Limepaw exited the apprentice's den with a huff, her fluffy tail whipping from side to side as she stalked on. She glanced over her shoulder, glaring back into the den, and didn't watch her path as she ran straight into the kitten and sent them both sprawling. "Great," she seethed as the moss ball she had been carrying fell to pieces around them. "Just great. Good going."
