The small lavender-cream calico she cat quietly made her way out of camp in hopes to finding, you guessed it, flowers. Her green eyes sparkled in curiosity at what was infront of her trying to remember where she heard they were at. Floralkit heard the sounds of water somewhere nearby and went towards it. Maybe that is where they were at!
She continued on her way until she came across a huge body of water that stood infront of her...or rather what seemed to be a large to her. Floralkit excitedly looked around hoping to find some hint of flowers anywhere.
Dandelionkit had noticed her sister Floralkit sneaking out of camp after hearing from one of the older adults that there were flowers near by. Dandelionkit raced after her sister not wanting her to go off on her own and also wanting and adventure for herself. Her little paws kept up as much as she possibly could, but she ended up losing sight of her sister. She hear the sound of water in the distance. Maybe that's where she went! she thought moving towards the water. Only to be caught in amazement at the sheer size of the water in front of her.

The small kit hadn't noticed that her sister followed her out of camp, and perhaps if she had been paying more attention she would have also caught her scent in the air. However she did not know only focusing on her mission in front of her. She soon realized she wasn't sure how or where to find them exactly...okay this plan wasn't a well thought out one. She had kind of hoped she would just stumble across one. So Floralkit leapt around trying to find any kinds of flowers...anything really.
Then she saw it...the ultimate flower: what looked like a blue purplish looking thing with beautiful petals and soft looking leaves. It didn't seem too far away and she could totally reach it! Or so she thought. Instead it was actually right on the edge and if anything looked like the plant itself could just topple over at any moment if the dirty below it got shifted around.
But my oh my what a beautiful flower it was! She had to add it to her collection or wear it as a prize behind her ear.
Dandelionkit approached the water's edge. It was a sheer drop off into the dark swirling waters below. Causing her to leap back a few steps because it looked rather scary. Instead she followed the river down to see if she could find her sister. She saw the flower first before she saw her sister. "Wow pretty!"

Floralkit took a step forward about to claim her prize when she paused thinking she heard the sound of what she thought was Dandelionlkit. That was her big mistake: she had not paid attention to her footing or where it would lead. As she turned Floralkit felt herself slip...that one slip causing her to tumble forward slightly and falling down....down...down to the water. It happened all so fast she didn't have enough time to properly respond or react other than giving a small eeep noise. @dot

Dandelionkit saw her sister reaching for the flower, but she had startled her. That when Floralkit had taken a misstep leaving Dandelionkit to watch in horror as her sister slipped into the water below. "FLORALKIT!" She shrieked as she rushed over to the water's edge careful not to fall in herself.

The waters were cold and tumbling in every which direction. The young kit had no clue what to do or where to go. Everywhere was water it seemed. She kicked and flopped around helplessly occasionally getting in a few air gasps here and there. She tried to shriek as loud as she could only to end up sucking in more water. Floralkit was the most scared she had ever felt in her life and for the first time experienced what death could possibly be like.
