Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"All of DayClan meet for a clan meeting at pointed stones."
Pointed stones was located to the side of camp where all announcements were given. Typically Glowstar stood on the pointed stone alone, but this time Foxbane stood just a bit behind her. "As of today I would like to announce that Foxbane and I are getting married. Making marriage preparations are normally a SunClan or WinterClan concept, but since Foxbane is from SunClan I thought it only made sense to have an all out wedding in the near future. Along with this proposal comes another piece of news. When Bloodystar had faked my death and held me in SunClan there was a vote for who the new leader would be. Foxbane had gotten third place. But in the Immortal Council promotions Foxbane was voted to remain as Maverick. What this tells me is that you see her as a strong leader, but you're not ready to give her freedom that can possibly disturb the peace of the clan by allowing her to be Peacekeeper. With all this information I've decided to make Foxbane a leader beside me. She will remain as Maverick giving you the peace of mind all of you desire, while still supporting DayClan. Another piece of news is that with Fia Cendrillion, Goldenphantom, and Windchaser all presumed dead or confirmed dead it leaves Yuccablossom as the only Immortal Council member. Without StarClan though, we can no longer gain extra lives, with that said, reinstating a new Immortal Council could never be immortal any longer. I would like to formally announce that the council shall disband, in its place is Yuccablossom will gain a new title as Head Peacekeeper. She will work alongside the general population of Peacekeepers to ensure all voices are heard, that our way of life is preserved peacefully and with respect. I hope you will welcome Foxbane as a co-leader beside me and Yuccablossom as the Head Peacekeeper," Glowstar announced.
Foxbane, soon to be Foxstar, stood slightly behind Glowstar, looking none too surprised by the announcement. Of course, she'd already known about this for some time, and the she-cat watched the DayClan leader with an expression that would probably look foreign to the clan cats. She looked genuinely happy, eyes surprisingly soft as she watched Green speak. She didn't expect the clan to react well, but she couldn't care less with her soon-to-be wife so nearby. The she-cat took a single step forward, dipping her head to the clan and saying nothing, searching for the right words. There weren't any that could convince those who hated her. The fox-furred feline knew it, though she sort of hoped her charm could turn their hearts, but actions would always mean more than words. Still, she didn't want to remain entirely silent. "I vow to use my lives to keep DayClan safe." The ex-Priestess stated simply. There was more she could say, and she almost did, but closed her mouth after a moment. Any speech she gave would feel hollow to her critics, so she should just leave it there.
"Yay! Congratulations, Foxstar!" Yuccablossom cheered, her eyes bright and full of true, unbridled excitement. She had always believed that any cat, no matter dark their past, was capable of redemption... and what better example of this was there than Foxstar!? She'd been a cruel tyrant in her time and killed more cats than she could probably count, but here she was, leading once more despite it all. Yuccablossom couldn't wait to see what the future held for DayClan.

Divinefavor absentmindedly batted at a leaf. She had no words for this announcement and had decided it was not worth getting riled up over something she couldn't control. So, best just tune it out entirely and pretend it wasn't happening.

Moltenmidnight was annoyed. From his perspective, there were several more deserving cats for co-leadership in DayClan than Foxbane who (1) had a history of murdering DayClan cats and (2) hadn't even lived in the Clan very long. This entire promotion absolutely came across as Glowstar playing favorites and he had half a mind to propose a second vote, but he held his tongue, not wanting to get on either leaders' bad side after the whole Fallingleaves fiasco was still fresh in their minds.
He'd just have to hope that when Foxstar inevitably messed everything up it was something the Clan could recover from.
Azura's eyes blazed with a mixture of anger and disbelief at the announcement, but the anger quickly rose to the surface. "You're an idiot, mom. You know she's a terrible cat. She's going to ruin what you built here just to build her own ego." Her affection to Glowstar was boundless, but her hatred of the other she cat burned far hotter than any sort of love for Glowstar. "This is a huge mistake, and I will not recognize her as any sort of leader. She could die in a ditch for all I care." She lashed her tail one more time before turning away from the meeting as a whole. At this rate she'd have to go back to SunClan.
Burningsummer chuckled, unable to hold back her bemusement. Of course Foxbane couldn't stay out of leadership for long. "Welcome back Foxstar!" She called with a laugh, the dark ginger she cat's whiskers twitching.
she knew Foxstar had a dark past, and she'd born witness to some of the dark moments herself even!
But she also knew Foxstar and Glowstar shared a strong bond that was hard to describe and often times even more difficult to understand.
Foxbane expected the dissent from her soon-to-be step-daughter Azura. The she-cat simply despised her, and for good reason. There was nothing she could say to change her mind, because actions spoke louder than words. She'd simply have to prove the feline wrong. Though a smile did crack across her features as she picked Burningsummer out from the crowd. Honestly, if Azura was the only one to offer such loud dissent, then she considered this a success.
"HEY!" Glowstar chimed in the moment her daughter called her an idiot, "I'm a fool, not an idiot," She corrected simply. Raising her head to address the rest of the clan she spoke, "I've never asked for any of you to be loyal to me, as leader. All I've ever asked is for your devotion towards your community here in DayClan. That is still all I ask of you," She promised DayClan with a dip of her head, "I'm more than grateful to have all of you live in this heavenly clan with me. I would never lead this clan into failure, if I did fall into corruption I would accept a class of forsaken."
Rubyflame huffed, digging her claws in the ground. "I have never doubted you Glowstar, even though I knew you harbored feelings for her." The ginger and white she cat meowed flicking her tail towards Foxstar. "I do not approve of promoting Foxbane to a leadership position. We are well familiar with what she does in positions of power. If she should make a grave misstep while leading by your side, I say that you alone being forsaken isn't enough. You should have a rank of forsaken and Foxstar banished, if she betrays our clan."
Banishment was hardly a strong enough punishment for Foxstar. Rubyflame had grudgingly been willing to recognize she was making efforts to improve herself (she'd noted as much to the other imperials, though still wouldn't elevate her from maverick).
And she didn't feel Foxbane should be anywhere near leadership, but Rubyflame had never doubted Glowstar, so she was willing to let this fault slide provided there would be proper ramifications if the agreement was breached.
