Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The sun was hot that day, which made it unusual for the tom to be outside. He often preferred the well air conditioned home he lived in, but he had heard that there was a new cat in town. Or, maybe the other wasn't new, and Salem had just not had a chance to interact with him yet. This was possible, as the tom's time at the home had been rather short as of recently. Viviana, his human, had recently invested in a house-bus, and the two had only recently returned from a trip across the country for a convention. They'd been gone for the better part of a few weeks, so it was very possible that the other cat had come in during that time. Or, maybe the tom had just been an indoor cat. Either way, Salem's curiosity had been piqued when he saw the other outside, and he quickly made his way to the fence that separated the two yards. "Well, hiya!" the middle aged tom meowed as he approached, loud enough that Floof would be able to hear no matter what part of the yard he was in.
Floof had been bored all day. Same boring food in his bowl, same boring fish to watch. He decided that despite the heat he would drag himself outside. Sure the house felt nice but on long days like these when the two-legs were gone, He would rather be hot and entertained than cool and bored. Outside, Floof perked up at an unfamiliar scent. As he looked around, he heard a voice coming from the fence. Swinging around to see the visitor, Floof pranced over to his handsome neighbor. "Hello new friend! I'm surprised I haven't seen you before-" he paused, " well then again I do spend most of my time inside. I guess I have been so used to the same neighbors, I have stayed inside for quite a while! Annnywayy, how are you?!"
