Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She had gotten a real knack for scaling the trees littering MoonClan territory, spurred on by the 'date' set up by another Clan's leader. Perhaps she shouldn't have gone to meet with a rival Clan's warrior, but the lunar code didn't outright ban any sort of friendship with outsiders. And it was only DayClan, the only other group in this part of the forest the Clan had no real reason to distrust. She had improved since that day, seeming brighter following her brothers' death and exile. Definitely better from the tangle-furred, too-thin shell she had become.
She gave a shake of her pelt as she perched on a lower branch on the tree she had chosen, blinking for a few moments after as she looked up towards the moon. Her fur fluffed out some against a biting breeze that rushed past her, reminding her of the coming leaffall. At least leafbare was still some moons off. She wondered how her Clan might fare through the cold seasons after having so recently faced so many hardships, but her thoughts were pulled away at the rustle of movement below. She crouched down close to her branch, trying to figure out if the movement was something she should be worried by.

It wasn't uncommon for Blackthorn to wander when he couldn't sleep, at least it was better than tossing and turning throughout the night and waking other warriors. Moonlight reflected off his green eyes as he gazed up at the sky, ears flicking as he let his thoughts wander with him. His gaze shot to some scuffling of prey nearby and he was intrigued, flexing his claws as excitement spread through his veins. 'Maybe I can actually catch something this time.' he thought to himself as he crouched low and kept his tail in check, long russet fur blowing back in the breeze that carried the scent with it. He pawed slowly forward, attempting to keep a look out for leafy debris he could easily slip on while leaping, something he was prone to. It wasn't long before a small mouse scurried from a root and out into the open, cleaning its whiskers as it sat there in Blackthorn's full view.
The tension that had started to build up in the fluffy she-cat began to melt as she just recognized the shape and fur of a Clanmate through the shadows. The tip of her tail swished back and forth as she leaned her head past her branch, green eyes wide to track Blackthorn's progress. She wasn't exactly surprised to find another cat out here, but she was curious what she could see from her perch. He certainly didn't seem to have noticed her yet.
Her tail stilled once he fell into a hunting crouch, the black she-cat following his gaze until she just picked out the flicker of movement that was his mouse. Her eyes flashed from hunter to prey and back again as she tried to stay completely still up in the tree. She didn't want to interrupt a hunt. Perhaps she could reveal herself to Blackthorn, but not until he pounced.
