Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Based on THIS Warrior Cats Christmas fic written by Kate Cary herself! This is generally an rp for kits & their families, but all cats are welcome!)
As the last glimpses of a bright, fiery orange sunset disappeared out of sight behind the mountains in the west, the black expanse of the night slowly began to light up as star after star twinkled into sight in Silverpelt above the clan territories. As if being sent down by the stars themselves, glittering snowflakes floated down from space, lightly adding to the lush, white blanket of snow that covered almost every inch of the forest below. It was the hour in which most creatures, big and small, would be settling down into sweet dreams. That is, except for the curious kits of Earthclan.
Gathered together in the very center of camp, the tiny kittens were restless; attempting to huddle together to keep warm, while also straining to get a glimpse inside of the nursery, the entrance of which was being blocked by two large and amused warriors. Behind them, they could only barely make out the silhouettes and shadows of the other warriors inside the den, bustling about as they decorated and set out presents for The Longest Night. It wasn't exactly a real clan tradition; it was merely an idea that several warriors came up with to boost the kits' morale at the halfway point of Leafbare.
It seemed to be working. Stalkerjaw and Rookback laughed to themselves as they stood guard, watching a fluffy ginger blur dart back and forth in an attempt to sneak a peak, unfortunately sending a spray of snow flying up on his fellow den and littermates. Firekit pouted and gave out an annoyed growl as one of the large toms finally stood and pushed him back with a heavy paw.

(I have a Firekit in EarthClan too, just so you know. I don't want you to think I'm rping your cat.)
"Yeah, let us see," Firekit meowed as he made his way forward. Not much of interest had happened lately in the camp making this event so much more exciting. He shivered a little from being out in the cold. Normally now he'd be inside where it was warmer.

Firekit looked over at the leader with shock written on his face. "N-no," he stammered. "I-I don't want to miss it." He crouched low and wrapped his tail around his paws.
"Eyyy, good job boss," Rookback praised Solsticestar with a purr of laughter, before turning to face his companion. "Stalkerjaw, go see how much longer we've got. Tell them the kits are about ready to start a revolution." The large grey tom nodded, smiling himself, before turning around and taking a few steps into the Nursery.
"That's what I wanna find out!" Firekit squeaked excitedly at his denmate, who both of them thought was funny that they shared the same name. "Huh?" Right when he was about to give up hope, he suddenly noticed that Stalkerjaw had let his guard down. "This is our chance! Let's go!" Without a second thought the ginger, white-muzzled kit sprinted forward, running as fast as his tiny legs could carry him, towards the open spot left by the warrior's movement.

Meanwhile, Creekghost and several other warriors were hard at work, busy decorating the usually dull and dark nursery with pinecones and holly branches covered in small, round berries. The white tom had even managed to find a still-flowering plant despite all the snow, and was placing soft red flowers in the cracks of the cave wall. After placing the last one, he smiled to himself proudly. He really wanted to make a special night for his kits, and all of their friends and denmates. Being born during Leafbare meant that they usually didn't get to see bright colors like this.

Firekit laughed at his denmate who got caught by Solsticestar but then he turned serious. What if Firekit's excitement will keep them from seeing the surprise? He had taken the leader's warning to heart.
"Wha-? H-Hey! Let me down!" The ginger kit flailed wildly as he hung from Solsticestar's jaws, trying with all of his might to wiggle himself free, but to no avail. Once the leader threatened to tell his father, however, Firekit immediately stopped struggling, instead sulking angrily as he was set back down on the ground. "Awww, no fair," he whined, flopping down chest-first onto the snow pile. "I'll be good, I swear! Just please don't tell father!"

Firekit watched his denmate being chastised by the leader and was secretly glad it wasn't him. What was it like to have a father? he wondered. Or a mother too? He was the only one of his family who lived after being found at the burnt ash. His siblings had all died from some illness during this leafbare. He looked at Firekit and felt a pang of jealously. He had no family like the other kits.
