Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The time of day was night far after many warriors had been done with their duties. Whether they were hoping to find romance, flings, someone to have kits with, or are already disappointed by the turn out and want to go home the two were there and now it was time for conversations to fly. They only had 10 minutes and three partners to choose from so it’s best to ask and answer all the right questions to get to know the other.
Each speed round had a separate area for the two cats to talk. This particular speed round didn’t take place in a den or very far from the meeting grounds, in fact it came with an activity. One cat was meant to hunt with a leaf blindfold, while the other was supposed to direct them on where the prey precisely was in order to instruct them how to hunt. Its suggested that the cat with the closest letter to A is blindfolded while the other directs
Cinderbandit frowned at the blindfold before him. "So, I'm supposed to wear this around my eyes? And then what?" He hadn't been listening very well to the explanation, nothing out of the ordinary for Cinderbandit, especially since he'd gotten distracted by hawk feather that'd fallen down during the briefing on how this would all work. He'd worked his way through the crowd to be the one to grab it, determined it'd join his collection of trinkets.

"I have you try to find the prey. It's a uh trust exercise I guess? We'll make it work and catch whatever it is we are supposed to catch." Locketwhisper himself had been quiet during the briefing but paid attention to it however they did not say what type of prey they were hunting. Maybe it was supposed to be obvious or just any prey they came across. Eh they'll be fine surely. "What made you want to joing this...uh event anyway?"
Cinderbandit shrugged as he got the bandana on, making sure to tuck his newest prize, the hawk feather, into the tie so he wouldn't lose it. "Trinkets. Figured there be some good ones elsewhere and happened upon this. Seemed like fun, so why not." The tom was pretty simple and straightforward that way. Bandana in place, he turned his head towards where he'd last seen the tom at, "ready? Guess we should get rolling. I fyou see anything cool though say something! I wanna find all the trinkets I can carry!"

"Can do,"Locketwhisper said as he kept his eyes peeled for something. He looked around but didn't see very many options to catch decent prey... or well prey that would be easy to catch with a blind fold on. The big cat eventually found something but was hesitant on how well they would catch this piece of prey. There ahead of them was a rather plump bird. It was pecking away along the floor trying to catch whatever bug it wanted. With a quiet sigh the tom turned to Cinderbandit, "Found our prey but it won't be easy. It's a rather big bird so if we get it that will be amazing but it'll likely fly away if we fail. With that, and when you are ready, we will want to turn left very quietly."
Cinderbandit cocked his head to the side as he listened, with a nod, he slowly, slowly moved left. His moves were super slow and exaggerated as he tried to be quiet while not being able to see anything. Each paw was placed slowly in hopes to not scare off their snack, but even then that doesn't work the greatest when you're blindfolded. Things like leaves, and sticks, and even bugs that you can normally avoid become impossible to navigate around. Slow steps were helping though as it gave the other tom time to give instructions, even if it may be frustrating how slowly he was moving.

The bird ahead gave no noticed to the toms...yet. Cinderbandit's methodical movements were slow but it did not bother Locketwhisper. After all slow and steady wins a race. He was careful with each bit of direction he gave making sure as to not have Cinderbandit step on a branch or bump into pesky rocks. As they drew closer and closer the big tom began to worry on just how the other would be able to attack. Sure getting there was a challenge but trying to launch a blind cat towards prey was it's own struggle.
Soon they got to a point where Locketwhisper told to the other to stop. "We are within striking range of the bird. It is right ahead of you only slightly to your right at this point...when you are ready you can try to capture it. I'll alert you if it starts to notice us and take flight before he can tag him."
