Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The time of day was night far after many warriors had been done with their duties. Whether they were hoping to find romance, flings, someone to have kits with, or are already disappointed by the turn out and want to go home the two were there and now it was time for conversations to fly. They only had 10 minutes and three partners to choose from so it’s best to ask and answer all the right questions to get to know the other.
Each speed round had a separate area for the two cats to talk. This particular speed round was inside of a den that appeared to be butterfly themed. The floor of the den was blanketed in a rainbow spread of wildflowers. Butterflies fluttered in and about from the flowers to the den walls. The butterflies seemed especially friendly to the two cats in the room.

The Nightclan she cat was in awe of what she found awaiting her and the unknown cat. The butterlfies flew in various colors that matched the wildflowers along the floor. Carefully she walked over to the flowers smelling each and everyone one. She made a mental note of maybe taking one if she found a cat she was interested in. Mantisopera was curious who this other cat would be. Maybe it would be one of her clan mates? Or perhaps someone from another clan or group? As long as they weren't Winterclan she didn't mind. They made the loyal guard nervous and distrustful with everything going on with them and Dayclan/ Renegade Regime. pao
Badgerbee was from SwiftClan and so he’d seen many sights in his life. As one of the first litters born in the clan chef traveled to many places, seen the sights, and learned all he could. It helps that he’s always been a curious thing, even going so far as to get stung by a bee when investigating one of their hives. The sight before him though, was a new one. He’d seen meadows and plenty of flowers but this was different. A small grin surfaced on his normally serious face. “This so amazing! Have you ever seen something like this before?”

"It definitely is," she agreed when the scent of his clan washed over her. Ahh Swiftclan...okay he would be fine. "I love the assortment they have here. I wonder how they were able to do this or if they just stumbled across this by pure luck?" She cocked her head to the side in curiosity. Well so far so good it seemed, at least he seemed to be a nice tom. Clearing her throat Mantisopera spoke, "So uh what made you want to do these activities?"
"What? Oh! It seemed interesting and I was curious about other clans and the cats who lived in them. Sure we travel near their borders but I haven't really interacted much with the cats outside of SwiftClan. Plus, I was curious how this would work." Badgerbee worked mostly by curiosity. It was his driving factor in many things in life, the only one it'd failed him in is dealing with his stepdad Steepfall. He wasn't really sure what to do with the tom, but at the same time, he was glad his mom had found someone. And if he was curious what that might be like, to find love, then who could blame him? "Why are you here? What clan do you come from?"

"I come from Nightclan! It's one of the best clans around...but then again I am biased haha. I came to do these because...it was spontaneous. Sounded fun and up my alley so why not? If it doesn't work out then oh well but at the very least I'll learn a few things from this. Maybe make a friend or even a mate. Can't complain about that. As it is this trip was worth seeing these flowers as well as getting to meet you. I don't think I have met very many Swiftclan cats but it seems you guys get to travel a lot. Bet you have a fun time seeing new things at the very least." Mantisopera's tail twitched in curiosity as a butterfly landed on top of her paw lightly. She did not shoo it away or move it allowing the creature to stay in its spot in peace.
"So basically the same thing. That's cool. Definitely takes the pressure off of this. Have you had any other dates yet?" Badgerbee nodded his head, just thinking about the pressure from his last date, the one with Dawninghope, and how forward she'd been with everything. She'd really made him think about what kind of cat he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, even now, he was still thinking. "Say, do you...well, do you know what kind of cat you're looking for? In a mate that is. My last date asked it and well, it just had me thinkin'."

"Hmmm I have only had one date before you and it was okay but I wouldn't think it was special. Just more or less a friendly encounter in the end. Now that is a good question too...let me see." Mantisopera pondered the question for sometime until some idea came to mind. "Well I would love to have a mate that can surprise me. Doesn't always have to be something flashy or new but perhaps something simple and sweet. Spontaneous adventures or gestures really. Uhhh maybe someone who is nice. Biggest thing is I have a sister I love dearly...we are very close. They have to not mind being around her. She can be a little bit quirky to new folks but she really is a nice cat. Not to mention super fun!" Cocking her head to the side Mantisopera asked, "You know what I'm looking for now, but how about yourself? Are you truly looking for a certain thing in a mate or perhaps you aren't too sure...perhaps wanting to find out as you go along? I don't think either is a bad idea necessarily. Even though I gave you a decent list of what I am looking for doesn't mean my mate will be that way in the end."
"Yeah....I haven't..haven't really figured it out yet. Guess I was thinking this thing would help me do that, figure it out I mean." Badgerbee shrugged his shoulders. "Guess I shouldn't worry about it too much though. I mean my mom is with this tom that's kind of annoying but she's happy so I guess it works. And You're saying you want this one type of cat but would take another, so not really sure what I'm supposed to do now." He was starting to wonder if maybe taking a pick on his kind of cat was more of a hassle than anything. I mean his mom ended up well and this cat said you don't always end up with the cat of your dreams, so why worry about it?

"I wouldn't worry about things, there is no reason to rush to find the one. From what I know it hits you when you least expect it, sometimes in the oddest or most needed times. You'll know in your heart when you find them. I'm not sure if I'll meet someone here but in the end I learned a little bit of something to keep in mind for my future mate. You can say you even taught me something new without even meaning to. For that I thank you." Mantisopera gave a kind smile. "You'll find whomever you are meant to be with I am sure of it. You're a smart guy and got that as your advantage. Just have fun for now."
