Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. It seemed that every day was a day of laughter and fun, but there were some days, like today, when laughter and fun weren’t enough. When nightmares plagued him in the dark until the sun once more rose and he found himself tired, lonely, and most of all, misunderstood. His family didn’t get it; they didn’t believe him when he said there were monsters in the dark. They couldn’t see them. But he could. Lostkit lay in the back of the nursery, away from the light, with his paws covering his eyes and his body bunched in such a tight ball, his muscles would cramp later on, but none of that mattered. His heart was heavy and he wanted to cry. If not for his friend, the sun, occasionally shining a little brighter and dancing a little deeper into the den, he would truly think he was alone.
