Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Pulsarpaw, from this day forward, until your assessment you will be a Peacekeeper temp. Your mentor will be Flawedperspective, I hope her compassionate spirit guides your heart."
(Pulsarpaw is described as a bit unhinged, which could make it hard for Flawedperspective to train her and may even make her want to give up. I think it could be fun if Pulsarpaw intentionally gave Flawedperpsective a hard time and either continues to make her life harder or decides to give Flawedperspective a break. Give the pairing a try and start a rp!)
Flawedperspective always became uneasy at the idea of training anyone. She wasn't a good warrior herself, barely an okay one. So the thought of teaching anyone else how to be a warrior gave her anxiety. The she-cat was sure she'd mess it up, teach them wrong, and then someone else would have to undo all she tried to show them so they learned properly. Fidgeting near the entrance to camp, she glanced out it. Maybe...maybe she should go to Glowstar and tell her this wouldn't work? Get the apprentice someone better to start with and then they wouldn't need to worry about learning everything and learning it right.
Pulsarpaw came across whatever went on in her head innocently, no one could say otherwise. On her mom's side, a kit-abusing murderer. On her fathers side, a morally grey at best medicine cat. It wasn't a surprise that she ended up a little... wrong in the end, especially considering the experimentation Defiledblood did to her. Her eyes squinted as she padded up. "So, you're the one that's supposed to train me?" she asked, her gaze a challenge. Flawedperspective would probably need a lot of luck to be able to get through to her.
Flawedperspective jumped at the sound of someone speaking g to her. She’d been so lost in thought about the idea of talking to Glowstar about her apprentice that she’d stopped pay attention around her. Blushing a fierce red under her agouti tabby fur, the she-cat stuttered out a reply. “Y-yes! I’m-I’m Flawedperspective. You…you must be Pulsarpae. It’s a pleasure to properly meet you.” She ended with a smil, the soft loving one she gave everyone new she met in order to try and put them at peace and show that she was not a threat. Though, anyone who knew her, knew she would never, ever be a threat. The she-cat is just too nice for that to happen.
The cat gave a brisk nod, her gaze narrowing at the anxiety that seemed to be present in the other cat. Oh, great, she'd gotten a softy. Perhaps Glowstar had done that on purpose, given her a cat who would be kind to her as a way to make up for the fact that someone anyone should have put a stop to her mother's testing. Maybe this was a great apology. "It's... great to meet you, too," she meowed with an awkward shrug, glancing away from her mentor. "Where do we begin?"
