( According to StarClan's declaration, only StarClan believing clans are allowed to attend half moon gathering, and any non-StarClan-believing clan cat who shows is meant to be treated as a rogue. Of course, that doesn't stop the other clans from coming along anyway... If I've pinged you, you have an MC/MCA character or equivalent according to your clan's page, so feel free to join in! Pinesimmer was absolutely gleeful. So much so the fragile limbed tom was absolutely prancing towards Moon Creek. StarClan had granted him more power than they should have, making him the bastion of ensuring that NightClan followed their orders.... which mean he got to piss off Aspenstar even more. And she couldn't even kill him, because then StarClan would REALLY be mad, and he was now the only cat in the clan who could properly heal. So she had to come begging him if she wanted so much as a thorn out of her pad.
In his excitement to get to the half-moon gathering, he was actually the first to arrive, the lanky tom skipping towards the creek with a maniacal grin on his face.
Did Swiftclan technically still believe in Starclan? Firetooth honestly couldn't tell you; since Starclan's declaration he hadn't received any sort of sign one way or another, even after Cradlegrave had chosen to forgo the nine lives ceremony. It was a complete mystery whether his little makeshift clan had Starclan's blessing. Oddly enough, the silence didn't bother the ginger tabby the way it used to when he had been Earthclan's Medicine Cat. Perhaps that was because, even if the rest of his ancestors turned their backs on him, there was one spirit who he was certain wouldn't give up on him. "Looks like we got here early, deerie," he remarked to Fawnpaw as he padded up to the only other figure sitting there. He didn't know the face, but he recognized the scent easily enough. "Nightclan, huh? Probably the only normal clan in that entire forest." HoneystormJadie
Did Firetooth know who Pinesimmer was? No. Was he about to regret calling NightClan and it's medicine cat at all normal? Absolutely. The tom spun around to face Firetooth, the scar across his cheek from where Phantomfox had bitten a chunk out of it and Ahava had stitched it closed gleamed menacingly in the moonlight, the medicine cat's almost insane smile stretching his features wide in a way that seemed unnatural for Pinesimmer's face. "Look what StarClan dragged in tonight! Are we one of the tolerable ones, or should I drown you in the Creek to appease them?" Was he tripping on the power he'd just gotten? Probably. Had that ever actually stopped Pinesimmer? Nope.
It had been a long time since Hystericstar had been to a half-moon gathering. His attendance at full-moon gatherings may be rather terrible, but, when he was a medicine cat, he had never missed this one. He may have been rather out of place now, and he was fully prepared for the other clans' medicine cats to question him about his appearance here. Perhaps no one actually would - most, if not all, knew of his love of herbs, so maybe it really was no surprise when the leader was the next cat to make his way up to the creek, Weaselpaw directly behind him.
"Nothing seems to have changed since I've last been here," he noted, his eerie gaze sweeping over Firetooth and Pinesimmer. At least there was one medicine cat that he recognized.

Graythorn looked about the area as he padded slowly to the gathering. He cared not for petty squabblings. Even though SummerClan was still in the good graces of StarClan, all that mattered to him was if the cats in question were healers at heart. He could care less about what another cat believed. He knew what he believed and that was good enough for him. The main reason he came to these gatherings was to learn any new secrets about herbs and healing.
He looked over at Vulturepaw and beckoned him closer with a wave of his tail. "Go on and make friends with the other apprentices. Like you they will be their clans future medicine cats. Now is the time to get to know them."

Though Weaselpaw was no longer an apprentice per se, he found himself drawn to the other cats of his age, looking around towards Fawnpaw and Vulturepaw. The ragdoll looked back towards his leader, hoping that no one would question his presence too much, not that it was his problem, but anyone thinking his clan was weak made him somewhat sour, and that definitely wasnt the impression he wanted to make at his first medicine cat gathering. His icy blues narrowed at the thought, settling down with his tail curled around his paws, watching to see just what was going to happen.
"Yeah! We're one of the few normal clans around here, glad there's finally someone to relate to!"
Jackdawpaw stood absurdly close to Pinesimmer like he was there the whole time and given that he was a younger apprentice he probably was a bit short in height. "I'm Jackdawpaw, Pinesimmer's newest medicine cat entrepreneur. We don't like to call the younger crowd apprentices, just seems a little demeaning. Anyways, Firetooth, nice to meet you," Jackdawpaw said with a friendly smile before noticing Weaselpaw, "He-hey, someone my age, wow, I can already be your wing man, Pinesimmer. I'll chit chat with Weaselpaw and maybe you hit up a few of the older dudes, cool? Cool," Jackdawpaw said, already pacing over to Weaselpaw. The only problem was, unbeknownst to everyone else, was that he wasn't actually a medicine cat entrepreneur or medicine cat apprentice. He was... Well just an apprentice who had followed Pinesimmer along without his knowledge.
Fawnpaw had been quietly observing as the other medicine cats assembled, letting her mentor and adoptive father, Firetooth, take the lead on conversation. This was her very firm half-moon gathering and she was to be on her best behavior! Her sense of etiquette, of course, was immediately challenged by the general craziness fo Pinesimmer and the air of 'I'm-too-cool-for-skool' that Jackdawpaw emulated.
Seriously, what was going on in NightClan to produce such... unlikeable healers?
The fur on Fawnpaw's neck began to bristle in annoyance. She hmpthed and looked away from the NightClanners, deciding not to talk to him for the time being, and directed her attention to the more well-behaved Vulturepaw and Weaselpaw, "Hi, I'm Fawnpaw from SwiftClan! Is this your first Half-Moon, too?"
The joke was on Pinesimmer; in the many seasons Firetooth has served as a Medicine Cat, he'd become fluent in crazy. He didn't even bat an eye at the Nightclan Medicine Cat's unnerving appearance - he himself had a scar that'd give most cats the shivers - and instead shrugged noncommittally at the question. "That's what I'm here to find out," he answered honestly, glancing to where Hystericstar and Graythorn had entered the scene and giving the two toms a subtle nod in greeting before turning his attention to Jackdawpaw. "Entrepreneur, eh?" He meowed, raising a curious brow at Pinesimmer before the apprentice trotted away. "He definitely seems eager, at least."
"Oh first? Nooo, this is like my fifth Medicine Cat Convention. Yeah I went to uh the Enchanted Winter Med Con, the Oceans Journey Med Con, The Strawberry Lovers Med Con, who could forget honestly, the StarClan Forever Con, and of course the standard Half Moon Con that I'm attending for the first time tonight. But y'know, the real conventions are the ones with the most celebrity fame ancestors there. Compared to last seasons Oceans Journey Con, this should probably be a cinch," Jackdawpaw said, shining his ebony black claws against his chest fur, "So uh, have you been a medicine cat apprentice for long?"

"More than this lifetime," whispered Weaselpaw, his icy eyes glazed slightly as he watched the younger cats gather around him. They werent that much younger, physically at least, but his soul was much older. He raised an incredulous brow at Jackdawpaw's tales, his look turning sour as he rolled his eyes. Medicine Cat Convention, he thought to himself, wondering just what the apprentice was doing here.
