Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
People get sick and sometimes it's not always something you can get over in a few weeks. Sometimes people end up with long-lasting injuries or are diagnosed with chronic illnesses. Other times people are diagnosed with mental illnesses that are not easily cured. Classic wants to be an open ear to these people so they don't feel they're battling a long fight alone so please, if you're going through any of these things, comment here <3

Today has been rough, I can’t decide if I dislike the health care system in the US or being chronically ill more. I have basically been in a constant Ulcerative Colitis flare up since I was diagnosed back in March following a hospital stay. Since then I have been to the hospital once more because my maintenance meds are not working. I was anemic enough that I ended up getting a blood transfusion(side note donate blood if you can) which made me feel so much better. Well after that visit my insurance finally decided to approve a higher level medication. However that was two months ago, I have been going back and forth between the specialty pharmacy, doctors office, and insurance company. The pharmacy said the insurance company rejected the meds and I needed to talk to the doctor. The doctor said it was a miscommunication and I should receive a call confirming the shipping of my meds tomorrow or Monday. I have been going in circles trying to get my meds so I don’t end up in the hospital again and no one seems to know what they are doing.
