Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
For the time being, all of Bloodystar's staunchest supports that didn't die, surrender or run away in the chaos, found themselves temporarily in SunClan's prisons. What else was the Clan to do with them? Let them free and who knows what they would do, but keeping them down here was the only way to ensure that SunClan would have enough time to lick their wounds before they decided just what to do with them.
Most of the cats had surrendered after a day or two and moved back up to the surface world, but not Perfectstorm. Ironically enough, the silver-furred Warrior found himself in Lionpride and Pollendrone's old quarters, the irony of which was not lost on him. He was here for the same reason they had been all of those moons ago: He didn't like the new leader who had usurped that one he supported.
History really did repeat itself.
Sighing, Perfectstorm curled into a tight ball and continued praying... but who was he praying to? He couldn't follow the Sun God anymore because he had exiled Bloodystar. But Bloodystar had always said that the Sun God's word was law and that he was the perfect being... Perfectstorm was confused and still had no answers. Perhaps it was best to just stay down here in the dark, at least this was a world he could understand...

Littlestar hadn't wanted to imprison her son... If he hadn't started attacking other cats in SunClan, she wouldn't have even considered it. It wasn't his fault that he had been so misled and corrupted, the fault of that rested squarely on her shoulders. For letting him be ripped away from her side and raised by the very cat that had cast her into prison. Seeing Perfectstorm there ate away at her, until she couldn't take it any longer. Today he would get to make his won choice.
She walked into the dim prison that he was being kept in, a silhouette against the bright sunlight that shined behind her "Come" she sounded tired, as she turned and padded back out into the sun. She sat down her back to the prison with no guards in sight, leaving herself wide open to an attack should the large tom decided that he wished to do so. There wasn't much she would be able to do to fend him off, she was only about half his size if that... Still injured an weak to put up any sort of real fight
Perfectstorm didn't exit his prison right away. Several minutes ticked by and he still had not move but, eventually, the large silver-furred tom got to his feet and exited his dimly lit cage. As much as he wanted to stay here in the dark, he knew it was petty, that he wasn't serving anyone rotting away in prison. He was an embarrassment to the Sun God and Bloodystar alike if he did something like that. So, he came.
"I take it this isn't my execution," He said, his voice deep, a far cry from the shrill voice he'd had as a kitten. He strongly resembled Lionpride although he wasn't quite his size and had brown eyes rather than gold, but he was still capable of being just as intimidating as his older brother, evident by the way he was glaring daggers at Littlestar, "What do you want of me, Littlecrow?"

"I'm setting you free" She didn't turn to face Perrfetstorm, nor answer his insult of the name Bloody had given her. Her paint was faded, long fur curled into knots from tossing and turning the entire night unable to sleep with the thoughts that had plagued. She hadn't even bothered to try and make herself presentable. The sun was just peeking out over the horizon, the sky dazzling shades of pinks, oranges, and reds like it was painted by the most talented of artists. She in comparison looked small and beaten, a mere blip on the landscape.
"No matter what you think of me, or what you may do next, I will not keep you locked away" there was no anger in her voice only a melancholy melody "You are old enough to make your own choices now, even if that takes you away from me for a second time. If you want to leave SunClan and follow after Bloody, than go..." Perfetstorm wouldn't be able to see it, but silent tears slid down her cheeks "I wasn't the mother that you deserved, I failed you and your siblings... You have every right to hate me"
Perfectstorm paced for a few moments as he mulled over what his mother had said... He was totally silent for a few moments, his thoughts and heart racing. All his life, following Bloodystar and the Sun God were the same thing, but now it wasn't anymore and that cat who ruined it all was showing him... mercy? Growling in frustration, swiftly he lunged at Littlestar and knocked her off her feet and onto her back, slamming his paw down hard on her right shoulder and putting his muzzle down within mere inches of her throat.
"You're a coward," He growled, eyes shining was anger, "You won't even face your own son when you are passing judgement upon him. I don't want your mercy, I want your attention."
He pressed his paw down harder on her shoulder, feeling her body shift beneath him to avoid breaking, "Don't tell me about how you failed to raise me and about how I should hate you. Tell me why I shouldn't. SunClan is my home and always will be, but I won't follow a leader who wallows in self-pity like you do. It's pathetic."

She didn't fight back, even as she was slammed to the ground with his full weight pressed down upon her. There was no anger of fear in her eyes, but now that she was facing him he would be able to see her tear stained cheeks "even if I had, would you have listened?" there was a calmness to her voice "Would you have listened to the cat that killed the very God you worshipped? The cat you were brought up to believe was a monster that needed to be chained and gagged? Even a kit, Bloody would have you come to the prisons to watch my torture. Have you ever even stopped to consider why?" she was cut off, out of breath from the pressure on her bruised lungs, wheezing for air. Wincing from the pain in her shoulder as her muscles began to spasm
"I'm not some fairy tale hero that other's made me out to be before I was overthrown. I have done terrible things, made mistakes, and hurt those that I cared for the most. I hurt Bloody, broke him. In turn her sought out to do the same to me, by taking the one thing I cared about most in this world. My children. You were ripped away from, only to be raised by the very cat who hurt me. Left in the darkness with only the echos of your pitiful cries to fill my mind. You were taught to see your own mother as a monster, and the cat whom stole you as your father. I was forced to watch as moon after moon you were paraded into my cell, your hatred for me growing with every visit as you cursed my name. My heart breaking each time you walked away, and yet hoping that you wouldn't return so that you wouldn't have to see me like that" the memories were to fresh and painful, like scars that wouldn't heal.
"So go ahead, call me a coward. Add it to the growing list of despicable adjectives that are used to describe me. But I am here, and am trying to make amends. You called this a mercy, but what I am giving you is the right to choose what you want for a change. To give you back the choice that was stolen from you. I would love nothing more than to be apart of your life once more, but that isn't a decision I can make for you. It's something that you have to want"
"You still don't understand!" Perfectstrom cried out, slamming down on her shoulder one more time before pulling away and leaving her there. His trail swished angrily back and forth as he paced, collecting his thoughts for a few minutes before turning back and approaching Littlestar once more, although this time he did not touch her.
"I'm listening now," He said, his voice much more controlled, but still seething. He sighed and put his paw over his face so Littlestar wouldn't be able to see his tears, "But you're like a broken record, all you talk about are your mistakes and regrets, about how you failed your Promised, your children, your Clan, the list goes on and on and on. So what? What are you going to do about it?"
He put his paw back down revealing red-tinged eyes. Perfectstorm felt as if his very soul was being torn in half and the only way he was going to survive this is if he left one half die. He loved Bloodystar. He loved the Sun God. It wasn't the same love anymore. He had to choose. And even he, no matter how blind his loyalty, could deny that, in his final days as High Priest, Bloodystar had gone mad. So, the choice should be obvious, right? Littlestar was sane, she faught for SunClan when she didn't have to, and yet... the choice wasn't so simple.
"Bloodystar was a victim, too, by your own admission. But he didn't grovel and whine like you. He did something about it..." He repeated his earlier questions with a growl and leaned in so close that his whiskers brushed against Littelstar's, "What are you going to do? Tell me."

"Why do you think I'm here?" she asked bluntly, forcing herself to her shaky paws. Her right shoulder unable to bear her own weight after being slammed down twice now, at the very least it was dislocated "I'm starting with you"
She let her words hang in the air, an uncomfortable silence falling between them "SunClan isn't going to change overnight, there has been to much pain and suffering for that. If I came in and changed everything at once, it will only end up back the way it began. I am planting the seeds of change that will one day blossom into something greater. Helping those when it is within my power to do so. Showing kindness, even to those that spit in my face. Before SunClan can change for the better, it needs to heal from the wounds inflicted upon it. It will take time, patience, and love"
"You keep asking me what I am going to do about it, but that is like trying to predict the weather. You can make a guess about what is to come, but even the best laid plans can be ruined by snow in green-leaf. All I can tell you is the goal I am working towards, peace"
"You don't have a plan..." He murmured quietly and then began laughing. Quietly at first, the more dramatically, deep belly laughs that Littlestar could feel just as much as she could hear then, "... Great... Just great! Peace, what a joke. There's no such thing. You can't lead a Clan to success by making friends and playing house, just look at DayClan, always in some war or worse. You paint a beautiful picture but all it does is betray how naive you are. No wonder you were overthrown all of those moons ago and, at this rate, I'm sure it'll happen again..."
Perfectstorm turned his back to Littlestar now, showing her the same courtesy that she had him at the beginning of this conversation, "I'll stay in SunClan because that's what my heart tells me to do. But don't think for a second that that means I'm loyal to you."
