Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Harvestcharm's eyes were locked on Divinefavor for a long moment, drinking in everything that was said and unsaid. He seemed deflated, but after a moment he spoke. "I've never told any of you this, but today's not my birthday, it's the anniversary of when I died," Harvestcharm admitted, looking back to his father trying his best to keep up a happy appearance before turning back to Divinefavor, "When we were born the Sun God killed Sweetwheat and I. Pandora brought us back and since then my life's been a mess. I sneaked out of the nursery with Sweetwheat and..." He paused, like he drifted into a memory before shaking out of it, "we got into trouble. I got Sweetwheat and I both cursed by the Sun God from. Now any wound I get, I feel that pain forever, even if the injury closes, same for Sweetwheat."
"I'm telling you this because I'm someone you can trust when I say that I've been there, that feeling that no one can help me. I was destined to die and because I didn't I'm cursed to suffer and no one's going to understand what it's like. Living isn't comfortable, living isn't even wonderful 60% of the time. So if we're all just going to live miserably 60% of the time can we just enjoy this party, please?" Harvestcharm asked, holding out his paw to her.
Sweetwheat traced one paw along the contours of the flower, feeling the texture of the pendant and the intricate details he had left there. It was so... thoughtful. Her father had always been soft like that, but she assumed his gift would be something simple and easily forgotten. She didn't like having objects to keep track of, and she didn't like her birthday much either, but this was... it was a nice gesture, even if his praise meant more to her right then.
"Dad," she murmured again, then reached out and gave him a swift, tight hug. Sweetwheat didn't like being touched very much, but she knew he would appreciate the awkward gesture all the same.

Lovesmitten leaned into the warmth of his daughter's embrace, one of the rare moments that she wanted physical touch. He resisted the urge to pull her in closer, instead letting his chin rest on her shoulder so that she could decide how long she wanted it to last and back away when she wished it to be over. A purr rumbled in his throat, eyes closing while he just enjoyed the moment. He knew it was difficult for Sweetwheat to have physical contact, so the simple action meant even more to him "Your welcome, Sweetwheat" his eyes slowly opening, looking over her shoulder at Autumngossamer nearly beaming CleaverFaith
Autumngossamer returned Lovesmitten's smile before looking off after her children. Of course Sweetwheat loved her father, that was her father. But Fallingleaves and the others, those weren't their kits in anything other than blood. They had no claim to them, but just as similar as the night she realized she was pregnant Lovesmitten and her were divided on how to feel about them. Lovesmitten was overjoyed, he wanted them, so now that he knew he didn't have the litter he felt a loss. But for her, she had felt violated, she had no desire to keep them, so now seeing them live in a better life without her it brought her comfort. She didn't want the kits, but she wanted them to still live happy lives despite the way they were born into this world. This was their best outcome... For her.
"I wouldn't mind this."
Autumngossamer's paw ran down the side of her ear anxiously, "This family life I mean. There used to be a lot of things that made me never want to be one of those queens that have endless amounts of kits. It seemed irresponsible, but when we're given the chance to actually parent we're there for them, provide love, and stability. So I'm just saying I wouldn't mind repeating this cycle of having kits, raising them to the fullest potential they desire, making time for each one. It's time to let go trying to please this litter left and right. They'll always be invited to our gatherings, but unless they want us in their lives it's time we move forward, focus on growing our family in more ways than one, don't you think?" She asked, finally turning to look at Lovesmitten.
