WinterClan
Fallengrace trailed after her clanmates as they arrived, but soon she found herself hovering awkwardly on the sidelines. There were so many cats here, so many scents. She didn't know what to do with herself in a crowd like this. Looking the way she did and being what she was, she felt like everyone would rather she just keep to herself. She was a demon after all, although it wasn't stopping Rottenfang from socializing. Her mismatched eyes blinked at him for a while, noticing the cat he was talking to and their scent. FallClan. She looked down to hide a smile as she remembered a certain warrior tumbling down a hill, almost knocking her out in the process. Was he here too?
FallClan
Shieldheart walked at Hystericstar's side, grinning from ear to ear as he took in the mass of cats. This was his first time attending as a deputy; first time in general if he wanted to be specific. "Awesome." The word came out in a whisper as he stared around with a dopey smile, only snapping out of his daze when his leader left for the tree. And that was his cue to meet and greet. "You guys got this," he called over his shoulder to no one in particular--didn't even know if any of the clan was still back there or not. Emerald eyes danced around the clearing as he made his way through the gathered cats, looking for a conversation he could join, when his attention was stolen by a cat he'd never seen before. He released a long whistle as he stepped out in front of them, "Hey there, sugar. Do you have a name? Or can I call you mine?"
SpringClan
For once, Newsnarl wasn't worried about sticking out in a crowd or embarrassing himself. How could he after Dancingdragon's entrance? He snorted as he walked off to a more secluded spot to sit, hoping that it was obvious that he wasn't looking to talk to anyone. He just wanted to see a gathering for himself so he could try to wrap his head around how the clans functioned. He stared up at the leaders perched in the tree and wondered how they weren't ripping each other's heads off even now.

FALLCLAN So he was confirming her thoughts, just in the way he spoke and acted Lightember was positive he was mistreated. To what degree it was hard to say but if she had to guess it had to be pretty high. Unfortunately there was not much she could do to help him...he would have to leave the clan and he more than likely had reasons to stay or else he would have left...right? The she cat was no hero and she couldn't play hero into others lives, as that would be for them to decide for themselves on what they need to do. Only then would she lend a paw to help. "Basically at gatherings all we do is meet the patrols from the other clans and group and talk about things in general. Prey, weather, other cats, ect. Then the leaders talk to one another and sometimes we get information or even form new pacts or sever old ones. They however are marked as peaceful meetings with no violence. It's basically a good way to meet others and learn a thing or two from others...like how say a clan maybe treating their own." She nodded at the tom in acknowledgement, eyes unwavering. "You always meet someone new and maybe in the future you could meet some you've met...like Ravenpaw."
DAYCLAN One moment Wintershine was talking to Renzor-kun and then the next this other tom comes walking calling her Sugar and asking for her name. The white she cat blinked her sky blue eyes at the tom with a dreamy look to them. "I'm not sugar but I guess I kind of look like it a bit, and my name isn't Mine but Wintershine. Having a name like Mine would definitely be interesting though. And what would your name be kind tom?" Her voice was whimsical and spoke of her rather odd innocence. From the scent Wintershine guessed Fallclan but wasn't too sure.
NIGHTCLAN Duskveil had followed Aspenstar along with the rest of the Nightclan cats into the Gathering space. She happened to glance at the tree long enough to see the Sunclan leader shove an apprentice size cat from the tree. Only for the young cat to be saved by it's leader. She wouldn't say she was surprised that had happened. She turned her gaze to see where her clanmates had wandered off to. Only to take note of who they were speaking to. She had wanted to stay closer to some of her clanmates, but believed this wouldn't be in good spirit of being the new Nightclan deputy. So she pulled herself away from where her clanmates dispersed and walked over to where the deputies normally stood. Wondering if there were any new deputies like herself.
FALLCLAN Chestnutheart watched as Hystericstar shivered on his way towards the tree. She would be lying if she said she didn't worry about the hairless tom. It was particularly chilly and his lack of fur made nights like these difficult. She turned to watch Shieldheart speed off into the crowd. As he went and mingled with the other clans leaving her standing alone in the center. She padded off in the direction where the other medicine cats gathered. It had been moons since she had seen them. Last time she had stepped her paws into the gathering space she had an apprentice and only just started her training under Amberbird.
SUMMERCLAN Rosethorn was excited to attend her first Gathering as deputy- and her first Gathering as an expectant mother. She kept close to Ratstar until they were fully situated, and then moved away from her spot among the other second in commands to search out her mate in the Nightclan cats. It didn't take too long to find him- the scarred former leader was normally given a wide berth by others. Rosethorn brushed up against his shoulder, smiling widely. "It's been too long," she purred, though it had only been about a week. Her stomach was beginning to swell, but it was still hard to see under her long fur. She was thankful for that- it might ruin her figure, though she had really never been in shape.
Orchiddrop stuck close to Crow as they entered the growing crowd. She was reluctant to leave their kits behind, but it was good to get out of camp, out of Summerclan territory entirely, after being confined there for so long. "There's a lot of cats here," she mumbled, nearly pressing against the black-furred tom. woof
NIGHTCLAN Dawnpoppy did not usually attend the Gatherings, as old as she was, but how could she miss her daughter's first Gathering as Nightclan leader? She smiled over at Aspenstar, but did not try to get her attention, as occupied as the new leader was.
SPRINGCLAN "I've been right here waiting for you, honey," teased Dancingdragon with a wink. "Dancingdragon. It's a date. When can I pick you up?" Maybe Gatherings were a little fun after all, even if Goldengriffon was in earshot of her playful flirtations. Her soft, plumy tail grazed affectionately against his side, though she never removed her eyes from the ex-soothsayer. FaithNova
NIGHTCLAN Alone as usual, the brush of Rosethorn against him encouraged a warm, rumbling purr that was reserved only for his enchanting mate. "It has, my love," Phantomfox agreed, shifting so he could sit up beside her rather than the lazy slouch she often scolded him for, silver gaze softened by the fierce love he had for her that expelled the chill from it. "How have you been feeling lately? How are the kits?"
SUMMERCLAN Crow felt her proximity as if it was static in the air between them, wishing he could step to the side and remove the distance but knowing it was too soon. "Let me know if you're not comfortable. We can leave, or we can sit somewhere by ourselves," he offered. He was also ambivalent about the whole affair-- for one, his former clanmates were here, and secondly this was the first gathering he'd attended in general, nerves flush beneath his dark pelt. sunlight

Primal Instinct Funk E'tan didn't get the answer he was hoping for. Or any answer really. It was disappointing Bloodystar had learned how to hold his tongue. He didn't push it, leaning back and watching as the leader's trickled in. A new cat that wasn't Flamingstar leading Nightclan, the stuck up Wintrystar not even sparing him a glance, Ratstar who was actually friendly and Funk E'tan liked enough to wave his tail in greeting too, and then of course, Glowstar. It was a little nerve-wracking to leave Dayclan after she came back, but he knew she'd be safe. And the League needed him. When the newly reinstated Dayclan leader leaned against him, he let out a quiet rumbling purr. "Considering you just told him he can come see you whenever he wants, it's hard to believe you." Funk said with a laugh, "but I s'pose you can come visit your old man too whenever you want. Can't guarantee you'll leave though." When Shule spoke up, he offered the Regime commander a rare smile. "I know. She's like a roach, can't get rid of her." The Nemesis joked, rubbing his cheek against Glowstar's. FaithJadieHoneystorm
Winterclan Maggotmeat was probably the worse looking Winterclan member there was. His long white pelt didn't hide his scars as well, and his siblings were all bigger than him. Making him look almost pathetic. A few of the scents he recognized, but it was overwhelming as he sought out one that was familiar. Swiftclan. There weren't a lot of their members here, but he was secretly hoping he'd see Blacksky. He veered away from a dark figure that traced the outside before searching for someone to ask. But his anxiety led to his tongue to tie itself in a knot.
Regime The figure Maggotmeat saw was Cadet Huntleigh. Unlike the other tom, he was familiar enough with the smells and the crowd. His dark pelt hung off of him, the only thing hiding his deplorable state. But he walked with confidence, knowing exactly where he was going until he slipped into the Fallclan group to catch the end of Lightember talking. "Or meet up with someone you haven't seen in a while." Huntleigh purred, approaching Rottenfang and Lightember with a smile. ashestoashes
SUMMERCLAN "The kits are fine," Rosethorn said, situating herself beside him, tilting herself into his side. "Growing as they should be for now. I've been distracted with clan duties, so the time seems to be flying by. How about you? How are things in Nightclan?" The strange alliance that had sprung up between the clans because of their relationship still confused her.
"I'm okay for now," Orchiddrop said, giving him a small smile. The same part of her wanted to press into him, but she held herself back. "How are you doing? With Sunclan here." It wasn't just that- he could theoretically see multiple members of his family here. Was it weighing on him?
WinterClan A silver-grey tabby walked softly into clearing with her head ducked down. To anyone that knew her, Soullessabomination was a shell of who she used to be: her steps lacked fire, and her tail almost dragged on the ground behind her. She was securely muzzled as well: one vine was tied around the back of her head to the back of her mouth, and another was tied much more tightly over her muzzle to force it shut and making her bite down on the disgusting vine inside her mouth. There was a constant soreness in her jaw and sickening taste in her mouth, but at this point she hardly noticed it. The device was part of her life, a life that she had been convinced that she deserved.
New scars riddled her pelt and a patchwork of bruises made the furless spots look like a painting. She walked past her sibling without a word and sat down near the trees in the center per her instructions. Well, not ones specific to the gathering. She believed she was not to be trusted, so she made herself plainly visible to Wintrystar and her inner circle.

WINTERCLAN Diritydivinity largely kept to herself, dirt coating her long pelt to hide the constellation marking that lied under her eyes. This was her first time ever meeting so many cats before in one place, and she couldn't help but be a bit overwhelmed. Still she held her head high, a smile plastered on her face as she had been trained to do. It was a sweet and subtle smile, the smile she could hold for hours even while she crumbled internally. The crystals fused with her eye caught the light of moon, shinging it towards other cat's eyes if she mover her head. Despite her pelt being filthy, the crystals always shimmered brightly.

FALLCLAN
Shieldheart's eyes crinkled like crescent moons at the she-cat's response. He sensed an innocence to her, which reminded him of someone else, but her answer was amusing. "Well, Wintershine's a good name too. Better even." he purred. She was just as beautiful as her name suggested, but he wasn't going to lay it on too thick. "I'm Shieldheart, FallClan's new-ish deputy. This is my first gathering actually." He glanced away for a moment before continuing, "I gotta ask, is the crowd always this strange?" He nodded his head towards the she-cat covered in dirt and another with a pelt of scars and a vine secured around her mouth.

FALLCLAN From the corner of her eye Lightember noticed a cat heading over to them she did not recognize. Darker fur was the only thing she noticed, well that and the scent of what she assumed was more than likely Renegade Regime considering she crossed paths with a PI cat earlier and learned their scent already. She kept a mental note of the cat approaching as she kept talking to Rottenfang casually and calmly.
DAYCLAN She cocked her head to the side lightly and pondered the thought for a moment. "I wouldn't know, this is my first gathering as well. There are definitely some others with strong personalities from what I can tell." Wintershine paused again for a moment distracted by something that caught her eye (a firefly?) before adding in a soft whimsical voice, "Oh congratulations on the deputy position. Something that high ranking is definitely something to be proud of. Plus it shows your a dedicated cat. So good job Shieldheart." She gave a purr of approval and a wide genuine smile. "I wouldn't ever be able to hold a position like that myself. I tend to be told I get distracted easily and am unique. Also fairly sure why this is my first gathering." The white she cat said this last statement both surprisingly honest and as a matter of fact kind of way. As if she didn't really care one way or another about the statements others seemed to have made about her.
"You didn't know? Death got a restraining order on me moons ago, says I can't come within fifty yards of him," Glowstar snickered to the commander before playfully batting Funk E'tan's side, "You're so mean to me," She teased with an airy light smile at the cockroach retort. "Besides, I meant the advice about not needing to save everyone. I won't stop being me, I like to invite trouble, to enter peoples lives is an adventure, but I won't feel like it's my job to save people anymore. Unless it truly is my job like with my clan or my kits hanging off a cliff, reasonable things." Her emerald gaze stopped short when she spotted Wintrystar, her usual soft gaze turned dark as a forest at the sight of her.
"Eh, anytime before these rugrats pop," Autumngossamer said, her belly didn't show much of any sign of pregnancy to an untrained eye besides being just a bit plump. "So where does your hatred for SunClan come from, is it a moody dark backstory? I'm a sucker for those and got plenty of time. I'm sure drama will ramp up around here before we have a normal night, or- well I guess that is a normal gathering for us. Once we had a normal gathering and it was super weird. I think we all went home feeling a little uneasy, but largely disappointed at the lack of entertainment"
"Ah, yes, maybe being born at night is a bad omen, I never thought of that. Oh! Bad Omen, that would be great for my next song, I love the name. And I think mysterious is scary, like the Sun God was mysterious, but turns out he was just scary all along. And oh! Most people in SunClan use clays for paint, but I like to use earthy powders, oils and herbs. It makes my paint look more natural, like it's a part of my fur and blends colors more easily, my mom taught me how, it's why she's still able to make paint designs without using SunClan's home remedies," Gingersnap said, motioning to Autumngossamer, the orange tabby DayClan cat talking to a SpringClan trusted. Although her mom and her didn't look alike at all given that Gingersnap was a flame point siamese with beaming blue eyes and Autumngossamer was none of those things.
"I used to live in DayClan for a while, but I got kidnapped back to my home clan, so I'm back in SunClan," Gingersnap explained like being kidnapped was just a normal occurrence, which in SunClan it was. She paused, narrowing her eyes at someone before waving at them, "Hey are you okay? She doesn't look okay right?" Gingersnap asked Shadowpaw, gesturing to the WinterClan she-cat Dirtydivinity. The she-cat looked dirty with old injuries, yet looked too young to have so many battle her scars, her figure didn't look well fed enough either compared to the other WinterClan cats.
"Wow, another Dusk ForestClan deputy, I've heard of you. I'm Duskslayer, priest promise in SunClan, pleasures all mine," Duskslayer said to Duskveil as she walked in. "Are you a deputy too?" Duskslayer guessed when he saw Rosethorn walk in close to the other deputies waiting below by their leaders.
"No violence," Rottenfang echoed thoughtfully, no wonder Wintrystar hardly ever seemed to leave for a full moon gathering. "My mom tells me that new warriors usually come to gatherings though, so maybe that's why. I just got my name a few days ago, your name is very nice though, I can tell you must be well liked in your clan," Rottenfang said thoughtfully to Lightember. Suddenly he raised his head, at the familiar voice, his amber gaze shining at the sight of his cousin Huntleigh as he quickly nuzzled into him, "I've missed you," He purred.
"You miss him?" Came a new voice as a white she-cat with a dotted black mask made her way over to the three, "Sounds like you miss a lot of people, but I can't imagine how since you would never leave WinterClan." The she-cat turned Rottenfangs face physically with her claws, but made sure to be softer than normal with him, but still her paw held his head like he were a possession she owned, "I have to keep the rest of your siblings in check, but I'm letting you know now that this won't slide when we get home." She said, releasing his cheeks, but didn't look content in her threat until her harsh gaze successfully made Rottenfang move away from Huntleigh. "Good boy, have fun, it's your first gathering," Dottymask purred.

Suddenly Maggotmeat was rolling from being knocked over by Howlingnight's harsh paws. He let out a laugh, a menacing grin tearing across his lips, yet there was no animosity in his gaze, only cruel amusement. "Looking for someone?" He asked before nudging the tom back up to his paws, "You know your step moms being a nag, she's walking around making sure none of you are up to something. I'd just have your guard up if I were you and if you get caught tell her I asked you to collect information on as many cats as you can. You can still have fun at the gathering that way, my treat."
His amused blue gaze stopped in its tracks at the sight of Soullessabomination. His mate was going to kill him, he forgot to take off the muzzle, the other clans were going to think they were a bunch of freaks. "Uhh... Be right back, go have fun," He said, rustling the top of Maggotmeat's head, which was really just accidentally shoving him down before racing off to Maggotmeat's sister.
Howlingnight ran over to Soullessabomination before barreling into her and rolling her into the bushes, his fangs snapping across the muzzle and tearing it off. Standing back up he let out a sigh as if he had done his days work and had not tackled down a cat at the front of the gathering into the bushes. "Alright, I don't think anyone noticed, scram," Howlingnight said walking back out with a sigh of relief, mission accomplished.
SummerClan Turtlesplash had thought he noticed a weird she cat with a muzzle on her face. The anxious tom nearly jumped out of his fur when a blur suddenly slammed into the cat before he could get a closer look.
Worried that violence was breaking out the tom anxiously drew back to his clanmates, looking for someone bigger to stand close to. The last thing he wanted to do was go into matters that weren't his own. He'd lost an eye from exploring to far after all.
He awkwardly sat near Orchiddrop and Crow. "S-sorry, just saw something weird and didn't want to be by myself. I'm not listening in or anything, just... is it all right if I stick close to you guys?" He asked nervously.
"Oh good, I thought I was going crazy and seeing things.. though now that cat is gone. Hmm, strange." Markedpelt meowed moving over to join Shieldheart and Wintershine. "Anyways, hello, you two seem to be a rather relaxed sort to sit and chat with, mind if I join you?"
Soullessabomination didn't notice all the chancing eyes upon here. In her mind, they were right to. She had brought enough pain that she deserved such obvious rebuke, and she didn't even struggle when Howlingnight took her to the ground. It was her normal, but a look of surprise plastered onto her face when he tore off her muzzle. Her forepaws scrambled to check that it was true, and she could feel no tethers with her paws. Huh. Weird. She slowly rose to her paws and looked around the Gathering. She briefly made eye contact with Rosethorn before turning away, only this time meeting Dottymask's gaze. She shook her head and followed after Howlingnight in silence. She really didn't know what else to do.
Wintrystar cleared her throat. "I'll go first." Her eyes darted to those below them, taking into positions of the demon children she'd brought along. This would probably be their only gathering but as was customary, she'd brought all her new warriors and a few of the ne students as well. "WinterClan ahs prospered in the winter months as usual. We are well skilled in hunting during this time, so it's no surprise. Though we did have the misfortune of a terrible blizzard that destroyed our home, but matters have been taken care of and our Gods have blessed us. Unfortunately our Witch and her Pupil went missing during the blizzard and have yet to be located and thus we have a new Witch and her Pupil, Roseshade and Sweetcrema appointed by the Gods." She paused to allow everyone to congratulate their newest Blessed and began again by annoucing the final ranks changes among the Blessed. "Our Knights have two new members among their ranks in the forms of Dottymask and Agonywail. Both of these two have already show such great loyalty and will further aide WinterClan beside the rest of the Blessed and their fellow Knight Frostcloud." She moved on from the staff changes to the usually ceremonial changes that happened in the clans; warriors and students being promoted. Unknow to her, she wouldn't make it to announcing the new students as all would become hung up on her warriors. "Finally, our newest warriors were promoted and among them are Brindlemist, Roaringmouse, and Snowflurry," a smirk appeared on her lips and she raised her head even higher at the rest of the names she was about to announce and the ones that all would be appalled by.
"The demon children were also promoted this month by my grace and were given the names of Fallengrace, Mangledmind, Maggotmeat, Rottenfang, Quiveringcoward, Soullessabomination, Sinfulatrocity, Dirtydivinity, Monsterblood, and Brokenface." Allowing the names to sink in, she took a breath before beginning on their students. Uncaring how anyone felt about her names as in her eyes, they should be glad the cats are still living. "Our students promoted were--"
"I'm sorry, the what now?" Ratstar glanced across to his Winterclan counterpart, staring at the other leader as if she'd grown a second head. The tom shook his head in complete bafflement, not quite believing his ears. He seriously couldn't have heard that right. "I'm sorry t' interrupt ya ma'am, but ya need 't back it up a second there." There was so much wrong with Wintrystar's entire last sentence he didn't even know where to begin. "Demon children? What in Starclan's name are ya talkin' 'bout? Why would ya give your own warriors such disrespectful names? Is Winterclan tryin' t' make themselves seem more intimidatin' or somethin'? Cause it seriously ain't workin', chief." pao
"Hmm?" Grasslizard had been so entranced by watching the leaders high above their heads that he almost completely missed the she-cat attempting to start a conversation with him. Slightly startled out of his thoughts, he turned to meet her gaze, only to notice that there really wasn't one to meet; the Sunclan warrior's eyes cloudy and pale. Blindfaith. Yeah, the name certainly fit. "O-oh! I'm Grasslizard," he meowed, instinctively dipping his head in greeting before realizing that Blindfaith couldn't see the action. "Uh, I've been to one or two gatherings as an apprentice, but this is my first as a Summerclan warrior. Ratstar'll probably name-drop me as one of the new promotions, if the gathering ever gets around to that point..." He gave a light chuckle at his attempt at a joke. "These things always seem to take forver, right?" Faith
"You know, I didn't think you could be any more a hypocrite than you already are, Wintrystar." Senescence's voice cut through the crowd, the exceptionally tall feline easily seen as she stepped through the crowd, already dragging Howlingnight by the scruff and not seeming to pay Ratstar's words any mind as she added in her own piece. It was a rare, rare moment when anyone actually pissed the Proxy off enough to react, let alone do so in an extraordinarily public place like a gathering. "You call them demons, and yet if anyone turned them into such things, it was you. I've heard and seen more than enough." A slow smile spread across Sen's face, which was probably the scariest warning of them all. Sen didn't smile when angry. Funk knew that, Yuccablossom knew that, hell, her son Alvah Faris, ie Howlingnight, knew that. Did her daughter in law Wintrystar care? Oh, probably not, but everyone else that knew Sen, or Wanderingwight, however they wanted to call her, would probably be a bit concerned.
"I didn't know it was standard practice to try and exorcise cats, nearly getting them killed, to muzzle them and then give them names that are meant to be disgusting." Senescence chucked the tossed away muzzle her son had just been hoping to let fade into the background to the ground before everyone. "All in all, it's not a good look on you, even worse when you're married to an actual demon. Your husband is Eerie, blood and all, so if you have a problem with demons, I think you better start looking very close to home instead of placing all your faults on kits who can't help who, how, or what, they may be born as. Even Bloodystar has higher standards for not abusing kits."
She didn't wait for Wintrystar to respond as she began moving, still dragging Howlingnight away. "Unfortunately, you can't talk to your favorite demon, I mean your mate, because I need to have a little chat with him first. Be happy if you get him back in one piece. I'll leave everyone else to deal with you, daughter."
And then Senescence was dragging Howlingnight through the crowd, and grabbing Soullessabomination to take her with as well, though for an entirely different reason. The she-cat didn't do anything wrong, though maybe she'd be a bit concerned given being randomly grabbed by a cat who has just insulted Wintrystar, and was currently abducting said WinterClan leader's mate. paoFaithstardance
( Btw, if you have a WinterClan cat you want to die, Sen is happy to murder any WIC cats who get in her way. xD )

Renegade Regime Faithashestoashes Huntleigh remembered to restrain himself as Rottenfang leaned into him. He knew better than to lean in too much, but wrapped his tail gently around one of Rotten's paw. And he opened his mouth to say something when a new voice came up, and Huntleigh could already feel his cousin pulling away. The white she-cat with the dotted mask, he'd heard of her. Though the stories only filled him with more rage, not the fear others knew. When Dottymask grabbed Rottenfang's face, Huntleigh immediately swat it away, letting his own claws graze against her skin. And if she didn't move, he only pushed harder, threatening to brak the skin plus some. His light blue eyes bore into Dottymask even after she let go, and the attempts to meet Rottenfang's gaze were blocked by the Regime cadet.
"Guess I see why he doesn't bother telling you the truth, not like you'd believe it anyway. I was the one that trespassed and Rottenfang was the one that chased me out." Huntleigh would have been more convincing if his voice wasn't full of venom, but he didn't really care. He needed to do something, anything. If he couldn't save his siblings, he needed to save Rottenfang. As Dottymask left, he turned towards the other two. "Late introduction, but I'm Cadet Huntleigh." He nodded briefly to Lightember before turning to Rottenfang. "And you. Let's get you out of there. I know the Regime will welcome you."
Winterclan Faith and anyone who wants to see poor maggot get shoved around Maggotmeat was not hard to push over. He tumbled with almost practiced ease, skidding into the side of the gathering. He worried at first it was Dottymask or Silverfury, but he didn't also feel relief to see Howlingnight's grin. Like he got joy out of scaring the small tom. They must have had different views on friendship, because even with that promise of friendship ages ago, it never felt real. And even with the excuse the Sovereign's mate gave him, Maggotmeat still felt like it was some sort of trick. Some joke he was the butt of again. His one eye flicked back and forth, waiting for the jump. But it didn't happen, and Maggotmeat could only sit there wordlessly as he was basically shoved again.
Primal Instinct faith Honeystormpao Funk laughed as Glowstar lightly batted at him. He wasn't really sure he could get used to it again. Even if Glow was only gone for a few moons, it felt like forever since he got to tease her and vice versa. "Good, I can take that." He purred to Glow before Wintrystar took the stand.
Now really, Funk E'tan had no leg to stand on in criticizing Wintrystar. He doubted many had forgotten when Primal Instinct used to kill the runt of the litter. And now he had a different sort of test, but that was at least still under wraps and only dealt with trainees and older. If there was one demographic he couldn't get away with killing, it was kits. And he didn't really mind. After Ratstar spoke, he opened his mouth to give some witty retort when Sen spoke up. It made Funk's blood run hot and cold at the same time, watching his proxy criticize the other leader. But what was worse was the smile. Sen didn't smile. Ever. He was anxious to see what she would do, curious as he did nothing to stop Sen from dragging away her own son. Family matters and all. For as much as he wanted to follow, he didn't get up. He instead pointed after Sen with a smile. "That's my proxy by the way. Proud of you."
Then his gaze lowered to Wintrystar. "I guess lil Bloody here has competition for the most hated cat. May as well answer the people's questions, Wintrystar. We're all dying to know." Funk purred.
DayClan “I knew WinterClan was terrible, but, to sink so low.” Knightrunner growled teeth barred and pelt bristling.
Burningsummer rose to her paws. “This is too far! First you stole DayClan kits! And you’ve mangled and hurt your own?! The code says to protect all kits!”
“And what DID happen to Sweetiepeach?!” Before Burningsummer could continue Mysteryleaf was on her paws the reality sinking in. For WinterClan to have committed such atrocities. “Did she disagree with your treatment of those so called demons?! I can’t imagine she’d have approved such horrors!”
Renewed anger and grief for her lost friend made Mysteryleaf March up to the tree green gaze fixed on Wintrystar. “Wanderingwight put it best, the only demon is you.” She spat.

Softpelt was aghast as she looked to the WinterClan Warriors she’d noted looked... off. “StarClan... those wounds, did WinterClan do this to them? I was a medicine cat for seasons and I never saw wounds like that on cats so young. What have you done Wintrystar?! Have you turned so far from decency that I’ve seen rogues look better than those cats.”
DayClan Lingering in the shadows and watching all the chaos starting to unfold, Skipstep took advantage of all the focus now being on Wintrystar. The tom looked around, searching for any signs of his kits. He'd told Littlestar before he left her in the camp that he would check on as many of their children as he could. Possibly even try to urge them to come with him back to DayClan.
Though he knew urging them to leave could be difficult and dangerous for some of them, but he wanted to try.
Sticking to the shadows he walked around looking for any of his kits. Honeystormracer
