"AAAHHH" came a shrill scream, as the small flame siamese diapered under a tidal wave of kits. His daughter Pollendrone had given birth to eight children, and also took in the four kits of one of his flings that died while the dead had risen. Which meant that he didn't have much choice but to oblige when asked to babysit so that Pollendrone and Lionpride needed to get their rest "Hey, Hey!! Get off of me and I'll tell you a story" he pleaded unable to move under the weight of so many little ones without hurting them. This was like his worst nightmare, come to life. and there was no escape. [Fun rp for pollen/lion's kits, and honey's. JadieNovafawnniFlurryofstarsstardancePhantom @samiam]
Luckily for him, one of the largest of the litter was late. Strongkit lazily strolled into the den to see the other kits overtake his grandfather in a tsunami. He walked in carrying a mouse that was so fresh it was still bleeding as he brought it in. He looked utterly disinterested at the kits tackling the older cat, and just sat down in front of his grandfather. "Sorry that I was late. I was watching the rooster crow and lost track of time."
Sharpkit didn't hear his grandfather scream, too focused on the constant ache in his maw, his gums unbearably sore due to his unusually large fangs. The never ending pain caused him to be in a near constant bad food, or on the verge of tears when it was too bad. All he could think about was the urge to bite down on something, anything to just make the ache stop. Without even thinking he learned forward and bit down on the nearest thing he could find, which in poor Honeysplash's case happened to be his tail.

Honeysplash yowled, rolling back and forth as he felt the sharp little fangs sink into his tail as he rolled back and forth which only served to make the kits on top of him even more excited as he wiggled underneath them "No its wine" he winced unable to escape talking to Strongkit whom he was starting up at upside down while he laid on his back "I wish they would take a note from you, really come on. Get off" he pleaded
Honestkit took the opportunity Sharpkit had created to jump onto Honeysplash's tummy, his peppery black fur looking light a black hole on his grandfather's white-furred stomach. He then put his front paws down and proceeded to knead the fur with just a little bit of claws.

Fuzzykit laid on Honeysplash's chest, a big grin on his face as he had to dig in his claws to stay on top of their grandpa "Grandpa! Its play time, no stories!" he giggled
All HOneysplash could do was writhe underneath them "Ok Ok, well hold on then" he gently rocked back and forth try to dislodge the kitten "Better not fall off the log into the river" even though its exactly what he was trying to accomplish without hurting them "Oh no the river's getting faster" he replied his rocking getting a litte faster
Honestkit dug his claws into Honeysplash's stomach while the 'river' rocked back and forth beneath him and let out a high-pitched squeal, "Hold on tight, Fuzzykit, or we're gonna fall off!"

Assertivekit's tiny claws were like splinters on his grandpa's side while he tried to withstand the speed of the "river." Then the smell of fresh-kill reached his nose, causing him to salivate in immediate interest. Releasing his grip, he toppled ungracefully onto his back, landing only a few pawsteps away from the dead mouse. "Thanks, Strongkit! I'm starving!" he said as he rolled onto his side.

What Honesysplash had thought would be a good idea to get the kits off ended up backfiring as all the tiny claws dug into him at once "Sun God help me" he pleaded, finally pushing upwards leaving the kits dangling from him as he stood. These kits are going to be the death of me. He thought. The thing flame pointed siamese went to work prying the kits off of him and setting them down on the ground "Ok enough of that.. Lets....uhh..." he tried to think of something to keep them busy "Show me your best hunter's crouch!"
"OK!" Honestkit hopped off Honeysplash pretty much on command and went straight into a hunter's crouch. His all black fur - save for a few flakes of white scattered here and there, must be dandruff or something - was fluffed out in all directions, making him look like a cute little attack shadow, "Grandpa where's the enemy!?"

"Over there" he pointed to a pebble that could act a surrogate prey animal, as he shook off the last of the kits "Go and get it", he didn't particularly care so long as he was no longer their target "Practice sneaking up on the pebble and pouncing. A good warrior should be sneaky"
Honestkit completely froze mid-step, amber eyes boring right into Honeysplash's with a burning intensity as he thought over his grandfather's suggestion. He was still for a full thirty seconds be saying, "OKAY!" and attacking the pebble...
... of course, his attack wasn't exactly well-placed. He overshot the pounce and fell on the pebble in just the right spot to cause it to be kicked right at Honeysplash's eyeball.

Honeysplash breathed as the kits began getting off of him, and making their way over to the pebble to practice. Being around so many kits made him very uncomfortable, but he was trying his best to be there for them.
