Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"I don't want you to die I was just..." The tears were rolling down his face, he could see his mothers confused expression, everything was catching up to him, "I HATE THE NAME FAIRYTALEBRIDE!"
Fairytalebride's claws trembled down the sides of his face, "I'm... Actually mad at you and mom." He said more in defeat, a feeling he never wanted to share because he truly cared too much about his moms feelings over his, "I'm mad that after all my hard work I've put into being a warrior you would give me bride as my warrior name. I'm mad that you would give me this name knowing anyone who meets me, that's what I have to tell them. And my sister doesn't deserve it either, what does it say when someone meets her for the first time and they hear fling? How many unwanted advances are cats going to make on her with a name like that. But the thing I'm most ashamed of was I felt deserving of the name so I made a plan that if we could start a curse and save everyone then maybe you'd all look at us differently and give us respectable warrior names."
As his anger grew Yellowmoon's power increased, her shadow size grew inch by inch with every word.
"But saying all of this out loud.. It was never that we needed to prove ourselves, we just never talked openly. We were all too angry," Fairytalebride said looking at Fallfling, "or reserved" He said, his gaze moving to Divinefavor, "or wanted to move on too fast that we never stopped to ask one another about how we would feel about being named this. Or how we felt when we were given these names. But I'm not afraid to talk about my feelings anymore. Mainly because I'm way more scared of Dark Forest demon curses than sharing my feelings in front of everyone. So I forgive you mom, I just didn't want to be called a bride, I never intended things to happen like this."
Suddenly Yellowmoon's shadow began to shrink, "No, you can't forgive her. Remember how your stories began!" She smirked, "With both of you stolen, your happy fairytale ending was robbed from both of you, you can't get over that, that will always be who you are. Your mother a kidnapper and you two alone, you don't actually care about Goldenphantom, you're both just putting on a show," Her voice was overlapped by a second voice, more demonic and cruel.
Fallfling was in tears by the time her brother was done speaking, watching the blood spreading over her mother's face and onto the ground "Of course I was angry!" she growled her fur bristling outwards "Everything we thought we knew was a lie! Our mothers, the two cats that I trusted more than anyone else had not only hidden the truth from us, but lied" she stopped herself, swallowing hard "but that doesn't mean that I ever stopped loving you mom, if I had maybe it wouldn't have hurt so bad... I just didn't know how to deal with it, but I already had forgiven you. Yes you lied, but all you ever did was love us. I just needed time to figure out who I was and who I wanted to become " she wiped away the tears "and no I didn't like the name I had been given, but seeing my brother so upset... I couldn't take it any more and just stand by and watch him suffering so much and no one even noticing... So when he came up with the idea, I had to help him. It wasn't supposed to hurt anyone, I swear"
"I thought Goldenphantom didn't know what Fia did and really? EVERYTHING, was a lie or was it just one important thing?" Harvestcharm asked sharply.
"HARV! Let us have our moment," Fairytalebride shouted back to what really felt like a half brother than their biological brother. They grew up in such different settings they didn't have a lot of familiar traits outside of looking alike.
Harvestcharm lifted his paw up in defense looking the other way.
Yellowmoon's shadow was growing weaker as she tried to pull at Goldenphantom's mouth more, but her shadowy claws were becoming weaker with each word out of Fallfling's mouth. "But it still hurts you doesn't it? It still haunts your present life, the trauma, the fear of someone you love lying to you again."
"It haunts us because once upon a time we were a perfect family until we learned our mother stole us and we all drifted apart?" Fairytalebride asked.
"EXACTLY!" Yellowmoon exclaimed.
"But that's not how the story ends. Because what really broke the family apart was that for the first time someone we love lied to us, wronged us, that's when everything change. But not everything is a fairytale, at some point you have to grow up and not blame your mom for who you are twelve moons later. You have to hunt down your own fairytale ending or before you know it, you'll be talking to your sister for the first time since never and realize you wasted one year of each others lives being too afraid to talk to one another honestly," Fairytalebride said looking at Fallfling apologetically. He wished he had her in his life more when he was younger, but they had both pushed that away. "I wish I ran after you more sister, but the past doesn't feel so scary because I know in the future we'll be there for each other."
Yellowmoon tried to rip her claws straight through Goldenphantom's cheeks, but by then they were dull, leaving only rough cuts along the corners of her victims lips. "YOUR PAST IS WHO YOU ARE THOUGH, you-you can't just toss it aside!" Yellowmoon hissed, desperation kicking. She released Goldenphantom, vanishing to appear behind Senescence, the real prize. She could feed off of her sorrow, her anger, every negative emotion of the past, that would give her more power than Fairytalebride could ever give to her. Reaching her shadowy claws around Senescence's face she grinned, "I bet you really hold onto your past with all those pretty scars reminding you everyday," Yellowmoon purred as she sunk her claws into the scarred up kit, her power feeding off of every negative emotion that came from her claws. "Get away from my sister in law!" A ginger and white kit leapt onto Yellowmoon. Rubyflame, no longer burdened by a mind wearied by anxiety, stress from leading, was rejuvenated. With the gripping tangles of fears faded, this caused the little ginger and white cat to go cannoning into Yellowmoon and try to claw the demon's back. With a lack of fear and nerves that Rubyflame didn't often possess.
Sharp claws would have made the cut easier. Permanent, but not as painful. Having jagged claws shoved in her mouth, breathing in a scent that was death times infinity. It was torture. The worse was listening to Fairytale talk though. Goldenphantom's expression shifted into further panic. She had done this. She had hurt him so bad. It was an accident, but still. She only gave him that name out of love, to maybe let him and others see him as she did. But she didn't even consider the objectifying nature of it.
Blood further pooled in her mouth, but her cheeks didn't give in. When Yellowmoon released her, she fell to the ground. Goldenphantom trembled, relief washing over her. She spat most of the blood into the grass, just like she used to, before running over to Fairytale and Fall. A dead cat reigning terror over her clan was bad, but her kits' feelings were way more important. But she skidded to a stop in front of them. As much as she wanted to hold them, something held her back.
"I'm so sorry. We didn't even consider how the names would make you two feel. We had our reasons, but that doesn't matter when they hurt you still." Goldenphantom was hurt, though hurt more that she let this happened then that they didn't like her names. "When this is over, you two can get new names. Whatever you want." She paused, a smile playing on her destroyed lips. "And a month of cleaning dens 'cause you really couldn't just tell me and chose to summon a demon instead?" Goldenphantom laughed, her tone joking but they should know how serious she was. She couldn't control her nerves as well when she was this young. "How do we stop this thing? Do you two know?"

"Mom" Fallpaw cried, reaching her mother's side, but she seemed to be mostly ok. "I...I don't know. It was only supposed to go until the sun rose, but I don't know how to stop it" she looked to her brother. He was the one who had the idea of the curse and knew about it, so maybe he knew a way to make it all stop. "I'll do all the chores you want, just make this stop"
"I-" Fairytalebride didn't know how to stop the curse, but glancing around he could piece together a good idea on what its weakness might be. "I think she curses us as kits to make us small and helpless because if we were adults we have more of a chance to stand up to her, to be stronger. We might not be able to stop ourselves from being kits until daylight, but we can use our voices."
Yellowmoon smirked, channeling Senescence's raw trauma her shadow grew once more smacking Fairytalebride into the camp wall. A roar of laughter bellowed out from her, "Did your confidence soften the impact?"
Autumngossamer managed to help pull Fairytalebride back onto his paws, "Or maybe we just need to work as a family? Confidence helped destroy the Sun God, but cursing him back helped too. I can curse her if you can be brave enough to attack her as a distraction for me to get closer to her and not her shadow. If you both can find it in your hearts to trust me?" She asked looking between Fairytalebride and Fallfling
Rubyflame tried to dig her tiny claws into Yellowmoon's shadowy form. Spitting as her little claws did little.
"I need some help!" She called to the others. "Come on! We've gotta help Wanderingwight!" She peered down at her sister in law. "Fang!" She called for her mate. She hadn't seen the tom amongst the other kits earlier and she looked about for him now while she tried to attack Yellowmoon.
"Join in?" Divinefavor had a strange relationship with Harvestcharm, she wasn't sure if she hated him or loved him but, as a kit, it was a lot easier to love. She stopped 'punishing' Ebonygold and turned to her brother, arching her back, before launching herself at him like a spring, "If you lose you have to clean out my nest for a whole moon!" Faith
The second Princecharming walked away, Yuccablossom rolled her eyes and got to her paws. She was vaguely aware that some weird corpse cat was chatting it up with Goldenphantom, but she wasn't all that worried about it, she trusted her fellow Immortal Council member would get the situation under control. She turned her head to Wanderingwight and gave her another smile, "Wanna ditch?" Honeystorm
