"Damn right," Shieldheart replied at her assumption, relieved that she wasn't going to press the dung idea any further. Following after her, he had to appreciate how comfortable Angelshine now seemed with the whole trespassing thing. She was even the one taking charge, something that gave him a giddy feeling. As they approached the beach, he paused to admire the sunrise as it reflected a pink glow onto the gentle waves. Snapping out of his brief daze, he realized the she-cat was already wading deeper into the water. From her reluctance to follow along with this plan originally, the sight surprised him but not wanting to stare stupidly after her, he dipped his paws in too. "It is warm," he murmured in agreement and slowly submerged himself to his chest. Shieldheart wasn't particularly fond of water himself, but the heat within it seemed almost warmer than the morning air, offering him an unexpected comfort. "This isn't too bad, huh?"

Angelshine arched an eyebrow as Shieldheart waded further into the water. She was not particularly comfortable with water as it is and she would much rather stay at the level she was at know, the soothing waves lapping at the underside of her belly. Though, Angelshine had to admit that Shieldheart was right. It wasn’t too bad and it did feel quite nice. The warrior lifted her gaze to glance at the sunset as the deputy had done previously and a small smile appeared. It was quite a beautiful sight and she could not remember the last time she actually took the time to stop and view a sunset. Shaking her self out of her thoughts, the she-cat turned her head to the tom. “You’re right, I suppose. It is not that bad.” She relented. “Which way shall we go now? I am quite curious to see what you have in mind, seeing as it has lead us into Summerclan territory so far.”

"I promise this is the only dangerous part of the trip," Shieldheart said as he walked through the water, with his side facing the shore. "We can keep with this path until it crosses out of their territory. Then we'll almost be there." If they timed it right, they could reach their destination just after sunrise. Although, the journey could take longer going through the water. "I think you'll like what's coming though. Trust me, I wouldn't go all this way for nothing."

Angelshine nodded along, having no problem putting her faith and trust in Shieldheart which had her taken back for a moment. The brown tabby was not the type to trust, ever. She usually never let down her guard no matter who she was around, but it seemed like whenever she was in the presence of Shieldheart, she couldn't help but open up and let him in. Shaking herself out of her wayward thoughts, Angelshine continued forward in the water as it splashed around her with each step. Her nose scrunch up in distaste at the feel of the wet sand seeping into between her toes. She hoped that they would exit the water here shortly. "Well now that you claim I'll enjoy this endeavor, my curiosity has peaked." She replied, glancing at the tom over her shoulder.

Catching up to her, Shieldheart brushed his side against hers in a friendly gesture. "It's about time. How could you doubt me?" he asked playfully. Up close, he noticed Angelshine's discomfort even more but instead of teasing her for it, the deputy decided to pick up his pace until he could spot land in the distance ahead of them. "We can get out here if you want," he suggested with a nod toward the shore. "We're almost to their border."

Angelshine felt the warmth of his fur as he brushed up beside her and she had to hold her self back from leaning into the comforting gesture. She took a breath before letting out a low chuckle at his comment. “My mistake. I shall never doubt you again.” As they continued forward, her shoulders relaxed as Shieldheart suggested exiting the water. “Let’s do that. I would not like to wade in the water for longer than I have to.” She replied, veering off to pull herself onto the shore. The waves lapped at her paws as she shook out her wet pelt, finding much relief to be out of the salty ocean.

"Really? I couldn't tell," Shieldheart joked as he pushed himself to the shore, smiling as she wasted no time in shaking off. After doing the same, he gave the air a good sniff, only noticing the scent of a patrol that may have passed through around the time they woke up. They were lucky to have avoided their path all the same though. "I guess you were right to be cautious," he said in a more serious tone. "I shouldn't have doubted you either. Although, I'm still not sold on that fox-dung idea of yours."
