Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. I sat near the nursery , my tail tucked over my front paws. i let out a yawn and shook my head to get rid of any sleepiness that still lingered. I glanced around the camp looking to see if anyone else was up and about.

Ghostkit came hurtling out of the nursery, glancing over his shoulder as if someone were following him when in fact he just wanted to know if her mother had seen her leave the nursery, if not then he was lucky. Maybe he would even have the chance to sneak out today if the kit was lucky. In his haste, he stumbled over the only other kit in the nursery outside of his litter and she greated her cheerfully and with great enthusiasm, "Hi, Snowkit!"
My gaze soon landed on a fellow kit who had just come out of the den. "Hi Ghostkit." I greeted him with a smile. "Have any plans for today?" I asked curiously tilting my head as I waited for a reply.

"Well...." The tom was naturally secretive but he didn't particularly want to be alone on his endeavors either. "I kind of wanted to go outside and check it out. Not too far, just a little bit to get a feel for the land, you know?" The silver tabby rocked back and forth on his paws, glancing behind him at the nursery for signs of either of their mothers.
I thought for a few moments. "I guess it wouldn't hurt as long as we are in sight of the camp entrance." I replied slowly. "If anything happens we can easily get back into camp."

"Aw, no fun." He pouted momentarily but caved in, not wanting to do it by himself. "Come on, just don't let our mom's see us or mine will throw a fit." He couldn't imagine Ravenstone would be too happy about Snowkit sneaking off either, even if they would be just outside of camp.
"Ok, good! I just don't want us to get into trouble and possibly have our apprenticeships pushed past, because of us leaving camp." I told him as I headed towards the camp entrance, glancing back to see if he or any other cat was coming in the same direction.

"Nah. I doubt they would delay yours anyways because your mom is the deputy." He bounded ahead of her, glancing around as if he were being sly. Honestly the two of them were a lot more suspicious than they realized.

"I somehow doubt that." Ghostkit shrugged and step out past her, gazing around. He was expecting something vast and amazing, but instead was mostly med with dead grass and a whole lot of nothing. Leaf bare was not the most exciting it seemed. "There's nothing here." He murmured, clearly disenchanted by the whole scene.
I said to him as i looked at the bleakness that met my eyes.
"I thought there would be more then this nothingness! It's all dead!"
I said with disappointment, lashing my tail in anger.
"I guess this is how Leaf-bare is?"
I said questioningly.

"I haven't heard anything good about leafbare. Fox dung! This isn't interesting at all. What do you say we walk around the camp a bit and see if anything is there?" He suggested, hopeful that this wouldn't have been a wasted trip.

"Oh I meant outside." He admitted, following her back inside. Then again, the longer they stayed out the higher the chance was of getting caught and she wasn't as much of a risk taker as him.

Ghostkit sat besides Snowkit and leaned forward a bit in anticipation.
"For many generations, long before the kitting of my great-great-grandfather, possibly before the existence of Summerclan, and old forgotten clan sleeps, eats, and hunts below us. Have you heard of them before?" While most thought this was a tale and a legend, this cat knew it was true. His mate had once been a part of this clan and they helped Summerclan secretly many times over his long life.
