Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It had only been a week or so since Autumngossamer moved into DayClan, but somehow things already erupted into chaos since she left SunClan as their soothsayer. Bloodyrondo had taken over SunClan and imprisoned anyone who opposed. If anyone could have seen that coming it was her, but it didn't take being a psychic to know he had it in him. Now some of the SunClan cats were living in DayClan for safety, but Autumngossamer had already decided she was living in DayClan permanently. Ultimately, if there was anyone who wanted to lazily live out the rest of her awesome life it was her, so it came to everyone's surprise when she requested a meeting with DayClan's higher ups. Possibly the more off guard part of her request was that it concerned StarClan
Autumngossamer sat beneath the Wisteria Throne waiting for everyone to come in, beneath her paw was something shiny.
Glowstar was already lounging across the Wisteria Throne next to Vixenkismet. Autumngossamer's presence must of not concerned Glowstar because she was playfully holding Vixenkismet down licking the side of her face, intentionally making sure it tickled.
Autumngossamer turned her head back to the veil of wisteria branches, her gaze begging for anyone to walk through them so she didn't have to be alone with them.
The dark ginger tom hurried through the veil and over to Glowstar. He didn't spare the other cats more than a passing glance, though he did look vaguely uncomfortable when he noticed Vixenkismit's position.
"Hey, Glowstar," Brakewings murmured as he drew close, his voice confidentially low, "um, did you want Fairytalepaw and Darkpaw here? I wasn't sure which to bring, so I left them both in the medicine cat's den. They're just waiting to know who gets to come. Um, if either of them are allowed."
"Ask for forgiveness not permission, cuz she'll always forgive you," Yuccablossom said to Brakewings as she padded past him and jumped up onto the wisteria throne. She circled a couple times, realized that there wasn't enough room for her, and hopped back down. Yuccablossom had wanted to cuddle up with her grandmother throughout this meeting but Vixenkismet had beat her to it. Frowning, she sat down at the base of the throne opposite Autumngossamer, "What's this all about?"
Autumngossamer let out a breath of air she had been holding onto when Brakewings entered, finally someone!
"Oh yeah, whoever you'd like, I don't mind, this is actually Autumn's meeting," Glowstar said, finally lifting herself off of Vixenkismet.
At Yuccablossom's question Autumngossamer decided to just spill it because she was not going to live through another... Whatever that was between Glow and Vixen, "Yeaaah, so I held this meeting to bring up somethings. Having been soothsayer and not getting along with Sun God I've had to learn to connect spiritually to things on my own for a long time now. Recently I was visited by StarClan and they're claiming they haven't been able to talk to DayClan in years. Like there are all these backed up prophecies and omens. Like there are a lot of prophecies mentioning a fox, did you never get those?"
"I definitely didn't get any of those, but yeah those would have been useful," Glowstar agreed.
"Yeah well StarClan says this all started when this white cat vanished and never passing down spiritualism to other medicine cats. Oh and then that you and Brakewing's are bonded to demons who are blocking StarClan from talking to either of you," Autumngossamer said in a elongated tone.
"Oh yeah, I got this super cool life that let me see through a person's soul. Until a total hottie tore it right out of my throat," Glowstar grinned, nudging Vixenkismet.
"No, these are not good things to joke around about. This is bad, there are so many prophecies that are backed up and because you all played with demons, now I have to talk to a bunch of old dead people who just complain!"

Vixenkismet had been playfully growling at Glowstar, batting at her fiancee as she squirmed under the she-cat's ticklish tongue, but didn't really actually attempt to get the she-cat to stop. In actuality, she was a touch disappointed when the leader eventually did stop, and rolled over onto her stomach to play idly with Glowstar's feathers, only half paying attention to what Autumngossamer was saying. She winked an ivy eye at Glowstar's comment, smiling right back, "Good times, getting killed by someone as drop dead gorgeous as you." the Maverick added. She tilted her head towards Autumngossamer "Though, I'm pretty sure all StarClan ever did was complain. That's hardly anything new."
Fia Cendrillon's ear twitched as she sat down with a suspicious glance towards Vixenkismet. New name, and low ranked or not, the ex-Priestess was still dangerous, and considering everything that had happened, she wasn't about to just start trusting the warrior. "Can't really help the demonic stuff when it runs in the family, now can we?" She stated, tilting her head as copper flashed over her vision for a moment. "Though it's admittedly a problem. Some of those prophecies would have been very... useful."
Windchaser came dashing in, panting in an attempt to catch her breath. "Sorry I'm late." She looked around the gathered cats, some of them looked as if they were joking around while other's had a more concerned expression. She was a bit confused. "W-whats all this about?"

(i'm here)
"So have they said anything of value?" Goldenphantom had been quiet throughout the meeting, twirling her tail together with Fia's. She must have been one of the few that hadn't messed with demons too much. Other than get married to one. But that wasn't too bad in the grand scheme of things.

Darkpaw sat impatiently in the medicine cat's den, her tail thumping lightly against the ground. "What's taking Brakewings so long, I wonder?" She muttered.
"I'm not bound to any demons," Brakewings objected, already halfway out of the den. He looked back at them once with a frown. "Unless you mean Fairytalepaw? But... nah. He's fine." He probably couldn't feel anything for a perfectly normal reason. The sort of thing that happened all the time.
He hurried out of the den to visit the medicine cats. "Darkpaw, come on, you're welcome to join our meeting. Er, Fairytalepaw, count to twenty and then come get us, I guess." He shrugged and darted back toward the meeting.
"Yeah... Just a normal StarClan cat, I'm sure," Glowstar said to Brakewing's.
"StarClan's been chatting with me," Autumngossamer said in short to Windchaser before looking back at the others, "From what I understand the ancestors of DayClan have concerns that because there are so many outsiders that they don't remember their history. Which is why StarClan wants to be listened to more because old evil is returning and new trouble is in the horizon, but without a complete history we won't be able to prepare for it. I mean, they're real weirdos, but they also seem like they just want to help."
Glowstar leaned back into Vixenkismet's pelt, thinking it over, "StarClan has always worked as a guide, if they're not able to talk to Brakewings or I they can speak to anyone they wish. Does that sound fair to everyone?"
"Has anyone tried asking the demons what they want? Surely they have a some kind of reason for blocking all of those messages. Maybe if we hear them out, we can reach an understanding and fix the disconnect."
Yuccablossom herself was a quarter demon, so it wasn't too far fetched in her world to suggest an open discourse with the most cursed of souls. Of course, demon blooded or not she would have reached the same conclusion. Yuccablossom followed StarClan but viewed all spirts as equals. Dark Forest cats, Isle cats, StarClan cat and those stuck somewhere in between, they were all spirits to her. All of them had flaws, some more than others, but it didn't make one worth less than another.
She set her sunny hazel eyes back to Glowstar. Her grandmother would probably be able to predict what she was going to say next, she had that thoughtful look on her face that spelled trouble, "I'm all for encouraging StarClan to talk to anyone, but, if that's the case, all other spirits should be given the same privilege."
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmm, the world may never know what that demon wants," Glowstar said with zero conviction.
"Oh, yeah, Yucca, that would be real great. How about we give equal rights to past murderers. And while we're at it they can train our apprentices, that would be a real treat wouldn't it?" Autumngossamer said sarcastically before mockingly pausing, "Oh, no wait, that actually has happened in DayClan and it didn't go very well. Heaven bless Lionspirit for mentoring me, but not every ghost is a literal saint like he is."
"DayClan is designed to guide its members to be the best that they can be regardless of decisions that they made in the past. Vixenkismet, Fuzzyheart, Peachblush, Wanderingwight*, the list goes on, all of these cats have been 'villains' but are not anymore thanks to DayClan's culture and social ranking system. Denying the same privilege to the dead goes against who we are," Yuccablossom continued to defend her stance, she was unyielding as always. She then cocked her head at Autumngossamer. Yuccablossom always did her best take words for what they were regardless of the delivery, but this she-cat made it hard to ignore her sarcasm. Still, she answered as honestly as she could, trying her best to reign in her own sarcasm, "Autumngossamer, there are several cats in this meeting that are guilty of murder, too, ones that are hard for even me to justify. I find it strange that you are OK with them yet have a problem with the dead who have committed the same crime."
*I haven't been around long enough to know the old bad guys so if these names aren't right give me a break OK? Just pretend she listed the right ones and also someone fill me in I'm curious xD
"Oh my gosh..." Glowstar said in exasperation because there were few less dangerous phrases that Autumn could begin with other than first of all.
"I don't control who gets talked to and who doesn't so I don't even know why you're arguing with me like I can somehow dictate anything. But second of all I tolerate about 60% of people in my life, but you're not a part of that ratio. I don't even dislike you, but I find you hard to talk to since the moment you opened your mouth. So while other people find Eerie's "quirky" and "charming", I don't think you're cute. I think that because you're incapable of suffering at the capacity of literally anyone you'll never understand what the rest of us "normies" go through. You'll always find more fascination with tormentors than the survivors of the crime. So no, I'm not interested in this imaginary discussion about ghosts having equal rights because even if this was a real discussion you don't even have the ability to understand like a normal person." If there was any setting that Autumngossamer belonged in by tone alone it was an argument. Her valley girl, naturally prissy toned voice was almost addictive to listen to during a debate setting.
Glowstar looked between Autumngossamer and Yuccablossom before asking, "Do you two want to hug this out or take a break?"
Autumn had a point though, friends like Windchaser and having additional family like Goldenphantom did keep DayClan in line. There were times in the past where her and Fia couldn't care less about a situation, but Windchaser had made them prioritize it. She had been right to, everyone in DayClan had supported Windchaser's decision. Every Eerie needed someone to even them out, but now they were off topic.
"If anyone opposes to DayClan members hearing what StarClan has to say, please speak now."
Windchaser watched the whole ordeal happen between Autumn and Yuccablossom with a less enthused expression. Both of them had a point but Autumn's comments were uncalled for. "Maybe she has the ability to see and think on a different level than you, Autumn." Windchaser spoke up, defending Yuccablossom from her friend. She stood on her paws, ignoring Glowstar's question, to confront Autumn. "I thought we dropped the ego, Autumn. Your no better than her just like she's no better than you. She made a valid suggestion because she has views on both sides. What was your solution? Letting Starclan talk with each of us? What harm would it do to ask the demons what they want? If it's something we aren't interest in, we simply refuse their offer. Maybe it will be enough for them to leave us alone. Or, it won't and we will have to find another solution. But cutting each other down because of our background is not okay. We are all Dayclan no matter what is in our blood. Right? Isn't that what Dayclan is all about? Cats from different backgrounds coming here for a better life. So, drop the ego and consider each suggestion that is brought to you regardless of who made the suggestion."
Autumngossamer teared up with a betrayed expression towards Windchaser, "It's not ego Windchaser, I was a soothsayer, I studied in spirituality, I know what I'm talking about. You wouldn't tell a medicine cat that your friend, who has no medical background has just as equal an opinion as the medicine cat," She argued back, but inhaled a deep breath three times slowly before looking at Windchaser more calm now, "But I am sorry that I lashed out. I do have depression and an anxiety disorder, but because of the curse, no herbs have any effect on me so there's no additional treatment I can take. I'm working on myself, so thank-you for calling me out on my behavior because you're right, we shouldn't cut each other down. I've never had a team of friends before so I'm sorry I suck at it, but I'll keep pushing myself to be better," Autumngossamer promised, chewing her claw tip for a moment, "But I also won't act like my opinion isn't better when I've dedicated my life to studying this."

Once they got to the meeting, Darkpaw sat quietly listening to the older cats bicker back and forth, a curious twitch of her whiskers the only betrayal that she was actually paying attention. She gave one slender bengal paw a lick and began to groom bits of her coat that had become littered with herbs to preoccupy herself. The small she-cat didn't know much of demons and such other than Yellowmoon, so her opinion wasn't a strong one for once. Her dark honey-amber eyes cast upwards at Automngossamer occasionally and she passed Fairytalepaw an exasperated look. They weren't exactly the best of friends but he was the only one around her age in the little gathering.
"Actually, I would tell my medicine cat that my friend would have equal opinion if an opinion or suggestion was asked of them. Glowstar asked all of us for suggestions. If she wanted you to handle it, she would have asked just you. But she asked each cat in this meeting for their opinion, not just your's. You may have been a soothsayer once upon a time but you left that life behind you. You may have studied certain things but life changes. The seasons change, cats get older, medicine cats find new remedies. While I may not know much about spirituality, I'm sure it can change, too. You may not be able to trust a demon but I've come to trust cats with demon blood. I may be completely out of my mind but I wouldn't doubt that a demon could be an ally. Sometimes you need to let go of the past and keep an open mind for the future." Windchaser scolded, giving everything she had to remain calm as she couldn't tell if Autumn was being sarcastic and reverting to her old ways or actually being genuine. The ginger warrior figured that she would give her friend the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she had made a mistake but Windchaser was there to redirect her.
(Also by demons they were referring to Dark Forest cats not elementals, I can see how that can get mixed up xD)
"Oh my gosh Windchaser, can you stop lecturing me? StarClan. You could just say, "Hey Autumn, take it down a notch." Like a normal friend instead of," She cleared her throat imitating a wise old sensai, "Seasons change, flowers bloom." She laughed, "Holy heck girl, if you tone it down I will too, sheesh. I'd rather you just yell at me like old times than whatever the heck that was."
Windchaser pinned her ears back and flexed her claws, her hackles rising. "Is that what you want, Autumn? We can go back exactly the way we were. I thought we were passed all this but clearly we arent. If your not willing to learn, then I'm not willing to teach. You can figure this whole friendship thing out on your own." With a whip of her tail, Windchaser spun around and stormed out of the meeting, deciding she needed a breather before returning.
