Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Speedpaw perked up at that, "Sure! If they let us build our own den, we can make it our own little fort!" He said a note of excitement in his voice. "Little defenses, maybe some space to let some new friends visit, and of course super comfortable nests. Oh, I really hope that's one of the activities." He said tail flicking behind him mind abuzz with ideas.
Lightpaw was a little disappointed by Swiftpaw's lack of interest in talking with her so she stood quietly, letting the siblings interact without her. She felt like a third wheel and wondered if the whole exchange was going to feel the same. "It's gonna be weird if we share a den with all the apprentices," she eventually chimed in, eyes trained on Speedpaw. He seemed nicer than Swiftpaw. "We'll all come out of it with our own scent." The idea didn't disturb her but it did make her uncomfortable. She really loved SummerClan and would be sad to lose that scent, even if it was temporary. JetclawCleaver
Speedpaw turned his head to Lightpaw. "But wouldn't that be kind of cool? We'd be like... apprenticeclan! a Clan of our own for a little while!" He said, then he deflated a bit. "Or well we would if they actually left us here on our own." He said with a sigh.

"Yeah, we got a lot. But also a ton of us were just promoted to apprentices, otherwise, we'd probably be off in some other clan." Pineapplepaw purred, a little grin on her face as Charmingpaw joined their group as well. It was all coming together well. Consuelasimplylight
Just as Peachpaw jumped, Romulus Fauna followed. Not as much but he didn't expect that kinda reaction. Everyone in Swiftclan were so used to him and his siblings, they barely gave a reaction. Almost having his ears blasted out was a little new. His head spun a bit, but it stopped as he felt eyes land on him. "Hey, it's okay. No one's gonna kill you." He said, a lot quieter this time. lavellan
"Oi, Hystericstar," Poisonrush called out to the leader as he weaved through the apprentices that crowded the campground clearing. "When are we going to get this show on the road?" he asked as he glanced around. "It looks like some of them are getting a bit antsy." Truth be told, he was getting a little anxious to start the training himself, his tail lashing in excitement. He was no stranger to training apprentices but this would be the first time having such a large group to conduct it with. That brought up another question he forgot to mention: did they even have enough cats to carry it out?
ApprenticeClan did sound kind of fun, Lightpaw had to admit. She played along. "Would ApprenticeClan follow the Warrior Code or would we have our own?" she mused. CleaverJetclaw
"Does every clan have the same warrior code?" Speedpaw asked. "we might have to set some ground rules," He mused nodding his head thoughtfully. "What kind of rules are in your warrior code Lightpaw?"
Swiftpaw was excited by the idea of a fort; she was less excited to continue talking with Lightpaw. But, suppressing a sigh, she turned back to the other cat when her brother did. "Might as well make your own code. We don't need half of the rules in our warrior code." cookieJetclaw
"Just the basic stuff," she replied, trying to think. It wasn't something she'd really been taught yet but she knew enough. "Don't kill anyone, protect your clan, that sort of thing." It was obvious to Lightpaw that Swiftpaw had no interest in her but she tried to stay welcoming anyway, refusing to let her body turn only toward Speedpaw like it seemed to want to do. Jetclawcookie

"Don't steal prey, don't betray your clanmates, protect your clan before anything else, eat after feeding the clan... uh... I'm sorry, I do not remember the rest." Charmingpaw responded softly, hoping he had enough right to avoid the wrath of Jayjack who may have been listening in on their conversation.
It didn't matter how far across the clearing Jayjack was. His ears were attuned to poorly performing apprentices, and his disapproving gaze locked onto Charmingpaw immediately. "Humph," he shook his head, disappointed.
simplylightCleavercookie Speedpaw perked up and glanced at Charmingpaw when he came over to them, his green eyes lighting up at the new apprentice that had come to join their discussion. Unlike his sister, Speedpaw was practically beaming with all the cats interacting with him.
"That sounds like the basic gist." Speedpaw agreed with Charmingpaw nodding. "Though since we'll all be apprentices we can just make it so we all have to catch prey that we then eat together!" He said brightly. "We'll be our own Clan! With a cool name! Like FlareClan! or SmallClan since we're all apprentices and apprentices start out small, and it'd be a 'small clan' y'know?"
It was starting to get crowded here. Speedpaw was so comfortable with the other cats around; he made friends so easily. It had always confounded Swiftpaw how he could do that. She had no friends even in SwiftClan.
"SmallClan? Only you could come up with a name with that many layers," she huffed, shaking her head slightly. But she liked the name. "SmallClan. It's nice."
Speedpaw lifted his head proudly, "Then SmallClan it is! Us and everyone who wants to be in our fort gets to be SmallClan!" Speedpaw declared bouncing on his paws.
If Swiftpaw liked it he was going to use it, so she felt included even though she wasn't as interested in talking to these other cats like Speedpaw was.
Lightpaw beamed. She would always be loyal to SummerClan before anything else but there was no harm in make-believe. The she-cat nudged Speedpaw with her shoulder. "Looks like you're our leader then, Speedpaw."
Hystericstar nodded in response to Poisonrush, then sighed as he watched the apprentices interact. "I'll come with you to the camp grounds, but I need to return before nightfall. Since Voidseeker stepped down, I don't really feel comfortable leaving the clan without anyone there." Well, seems like it was time to interrupt the apprentices' planning, though at least some of them at least seemed excited about this. It would certainly be better for them out there than in the small den in camp. Turning away from his aurulent, the small leader jumped onto a rock and cleared his throat, trying his best to not glare at the large group of apprentices. Public speaking was definitely not his favorite thing, but it was something he sadly had to get used to.
"We will be leaving for the campgrounds now. Everyone, stay close and don't get lost, especially those of you from other clans." It would really be annoying for them to get lost and for their clans to yell at him. With a flick of his hairless tail, he leapt off the rock, starting on the way towards the campgrounds. It hopefully wouldn't be that long of a walk, but with this many cats traveling, who knows?
Speedpaw puffed up his chest when Lightpaw said he'd be leader. "Speedstar, leader of SmallClan, it has a nice ring to it." He said with a chuckle.
then his ears pricked forwards when Hystericstar announced they'd be leaving. "We're heading to the campgrounds! Come on guys! We can start recruiting for SmallClan members after we get there!" He said excitedly looking to Swiftpaw. "Don't you think it'll be fun sis?" He asked as he moved to follow the older cats to the camp grounds.
"If it would make things easier as some of you already have become acquainted with one another, FallClan apprentices, pair up with one or two of our visitors to help guide them," Poisonrush suggested as the group moved to follow behind Hystericstar. Assuming no one else would do it, he figured he would bring up the rear just in case there were a few stragglers. After finding his fellow Aurulent, he asked, "Jayjack, would you mind being on one side of the group so they stay on the path?"
"Think we need one more FallClan cat to join our group so we don't get all split up." Speedpaw noted after hearing Poisonrush's order. He looked to Charmingpaw. "Can you think of anyone who'd want to join SmallClan?" He asked with a purr of amusement.
Lightpaw followed her new group happily. Being involved was so fun. This exchange was proving to be a great time. She wondered how Thistlepaw was doing on her program in SpringClan. Probably having just as good of a time. So she trotted along, daydreaming of SmallClan.
