Thirdwheel gently lifted his paw to her cheek "Always, you look even more beautiful in the daylight" a purr rumbled in his throat before placing his paw on the lizzard "I brought this for you, I didn't think you would have time to eat before leaving, and I didn't want you to go hungry"
She looked at the lizard, trying to look grateful instead of disgust. Lizards weren't exactly her preferred meal but the gesture was sweet. "Thank you, Thirdwheel." She purred. "I'm sorry I didn't get you anything..." She looked around. That's when it dawned on her. Her turquoise eyes landed on a small and simple little buttercup. She picked it and handed it to him. "Here.So you'll always remember me." She grinned. "My mama always told me that if you hold a buttercup up to your chin and it glows, it means your in love."

Thirdwheel grinned gently taking the buttercup like it was one of the most precious things in the world "Thank you" a purr rumbled in his throat holding it up under his chin "is it glowing?"
"Y-yeah, it is" she purred, feeling her cheeks warm again. Did he like her? Maybe it was glowing for some other cat? At the thought of Thirdwheel loving someone else, her heart sank. What if he did have a mate and he was just being nice?

Thirdwheel leaned in until his nose brushed up against his cheek "I asked if it was glowing, but I already knew the answer to that. With you sitting here, how could it not?"
She pulled away, her heart thumping. "I-Im really flattered, Thirdwheel...but...we can't like each other. Your from Sunclan and I'm from Dayclan...my mother would murder you and then me if she ever found out..."

"Buttercuppaw...." he whispered, blinking in surprise as the warmth of her pelt disappeared "I don't care about any of that. SunClan, DayClan, the only thing keeping us apart is an invisible line" He moved closer, not accepting the harsh reality that she was trying to lay at his feet "I'm not afraid to cross that line with you"

"Well I have always been curious about my father in Primal Instinct, but its probably not a good place to stay for long" he chuckled "so really the world is ours! We just have to seize it"
"Yeah...let's not go to Primal Instinct..." She rubbed her chin and looked around them as if she could see the world from where they were. "Y'know, there's so much unexplored territory beyond the rogue lands."
