Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Denalikit, barely more than a moon old, crept out of the nursery. There's a big wide world out there to explore, flowers to sniff, and feathers to collect. She was still a cream puff with ears too big for her head and wobbly on her paws. Still, Denalikit was ready to scope out her home.
Cliffdrop emerged from the warrior's den and blinked away the sleep in his eyes. He missed sleeping next to his mate but he knew that she was being taken care of well in the nursery and that she had a duty to care for the kits. Even so, her being away made him feel sad. As he glanced around he recognized one of his daughters wobbling out of the nursery and he couldn't help but smile at her persistence and curiosity. He padded over, making sure to walk gently. "Goodmorning sweetheart, how's your mother doing, did she sleep alright?" He asked, trying not to let the worry creep into his voice. He knew that he was probably coming off as paranoid again but he couldn't help asking.

Redkit came bounding over to the two cats. She was older than Denalikit by about two moons. The tom she figured was the other kit's father. "Hi!" she mewed as she came to a skidding stop. Dirt piled up around her paws in a small heap. "Whatcha doin'?" She felt like playing.
Cliffdrop was surprised by the other kit approaching so suddenly and he turned to face her. "Hey Redkit," he smiled. "How are things in the nursery today, everyone doing well." He rephrased the question he had asked his own kit, his mind focused only on one thing.

"Oh fine," the little red kit mewed. "Except for the thorn I found in my bedding moss but I think it was put there on purpose for me to find." One of her siblings came to mind but she'd deal with him later. "Are you an' Denalikit doing anything special? I can leave you alone if you want." She realized that maybe she had interrupted a father-daughter something.
"You're welcome to stay, thank you for the update I'm sure youll find the culprit," Cliffdrop smiled when he heard that everything was going well in the nursery, that meant that his mate was safe. He felt so vulnerable not being able to be near her all the time though he wouldn't let on to that weakness in front of the kits. "The more the merrier, what do you both wanna do today?" Cliffdrop could only hope that spending time with the kits would get his mind off of Mountainsky.

"Oh, I like to play moss ball or hide n' seek," Redkit mewed enthusiastically. Then remembering Denalikit's age, perhaps something more tame would be in order. "Or what's really fun is listening to exciting stories." She glanced at the cream colored kit. "You wanna do that?"
Denalikit purred and nuzzled her father. “Mom is fine, but she won’t stop nagging me to clean my moss. Eigerkit our grass in it again.” She stretched her paws and flopped down in a nearby patch of sun before rolling onto her back, paws extended toward the sky. “I’d like to hear a story! Good idea Redkit!”

"Unless you know a good story," Redkit addressed Cliffdrop, "I can go see if Bonefang will tell us one." She looked over at the elder's den and saw that Bonefang was sitting outside sunning himself.
