Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Powderkit crouched down, staring at the rabbit intensely. It was so big! The tortoiseshell kit jumped up and began circling it, stopping beside Meadowkit as she listened to her sister ask about hunting.
"I talked to Peonymist once, and she said not all warriors have to hunt," Powderkit chimed in, unable to stop herself from answering for their father. She knew that both her and Peonymist had disabilities that could get in the way of warrior responsibilities outside the camp, so maybe this didn't apply to Meadowkit. But she offered up her little knowledge on the situation anyway.
Juniperkit relaxed when his mother distracted his brother. He felt embarrassed that he had shown such fear toward his brother. He knew he would eventually have to learn to stand up for himself.

Blossomkit blinked at Juniperkit sympathetically before joining the others in the conversation. "Hunting sounds much nicer than battling other clans, in my opinion." She said softly, her face furrowed in thought. "Being a warrior must be hard work. You have to be responsible and brave. Right father? I could be wrong. I am just a kit."
Thistlestar chuckled at the varying observations, but his laughter smiled at he took note of Meadowkit, whose quiet concerns melted the leader's heart on site. "A cat's duty is to help their clan in all the ways he or she can." He started thoughtfully, taking a long look at his daughter before his eyes bounced to the other curious kits. "Starclan has given most of us claws and teeth for that reason. And for a few select others-" Thistlestar paused, taking particular interest in Powderkit and the mention of Peonymist "Starclan has decided they are more helpful in other areas of clan life.
"Oh yes, very much so Blossomkit, but it takes more than just bravery to be a warrior!" He meowed calmly, a look of pride grew across his expression as he spoke on. "Fighting and hunting may not sound like fun or may sound scary, but it is the ways we can help our clan and loved ones. It is a responsibility we are all born with and it is the reason why Springclan is the way it is. We have some of the most talented and loyal of Warriors who are out there everyday defending our borders and bringing up warm, fresh food for our bellies. They won't be able to do the job forever, that's why we need all of you to learn as you get older." He offered a small smile and a playful bat at Meadowkit, hoping that his answer was enough to quail her worries.
Having been preoccupied with his mother, Sunnykit had not paid attention to most of the conversation until the topic of fighting and hunting arose. His ginger ears perked and he jumped off his mother to join the other kits, a new wave of excitement filled him "I am going to be the fastest and strongest warrior Springclan has ever seen!"

Blossomkit listened on, nodding slowly. "You know, father, I heard Sapphiresmoke say something similar." She struggled with the word 'similar' but it didn't seem to phase her. It was again one of those words she picked up listening to the older warriors talk. "It must be an honor to fight for your clanmates. I'm going to train hard so my clanmates never worry about safety."
"Well, Sapphiresmoke is the oldest cat we have in Springclan. He has seen and experienced many things in his long life. I take much of his advice and guidance to heart, so it makes sense." Thistlestar smiled, nudging Blossomkit playfully "It is a large honor and I am confident it is one that all of you will take in strides."
Powderkit's question brought the Springclan leader's full attention on her, his deep green eyes bright with content. To lead in conversation was not the Leader's most comfortable position. He often listened and give others the position to speak on their thoughts, but since the birth of his kits, he found himself forced to take a more forward stance in conversations. Normally, it would be uncomfortable for the leader, but there was something endearing about relieving the curious minds of kits.
"Well, lots of things." Thistlestar meowed, his mind wrapping around all the potentials "We aren't the only one who live on this vast land. We have predator animals like Badgers and Foxes who will often roam into our territory, especially during Leafbare where food is scarce. There is also stray rouges and loners who can pose a threat. There are also the occasional two-legs that roam onto our territory, but it is a rare occasion."
