Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"YES!!" Fawnheart shouted, giving a delighted leap at Blakelystar's truth. She instantly crouched afterward, feeling warm under her fur for blurting out in front of everyone. Fawnheart rose to her paws and cleared her throat, recollecting herself. She walked over to where Blakelystar stood and turned to face the other cats. "I, too, believe this should be a gathering for all medicine cats regardless of their beliefs. Likes Blakelystar said, we can all learn from each other. Medicine cats are connected to each other as one. It has been that way for moons. There are no such things as borders to us. If one medicine cat is in need of something, we are freely allowed to cross border to speak to one another. Doesnt that mean anything to the rest of you? We are all the same despite our beliefs. I dont think that should change now. And Blakelystar is right about the battle. We all joined together as Novaclan. ONE clan and not a single one of us fought joining together because of our beliefs! So why should we now?" She scanned the clearing, her chin high and her chest puffed out.
"Hey! BRAKEWINGS!" The voice that broke into the meeting wasn't an unknown one. It was Pandora, naturally, the tall and longhaired auburn she-cat with cinnamon swirled fur and iridescent green eyes. There was nothing especially 'magical' about her, so it seemed, but all the same, she carried herself with a similar authority as any leader or god could. Though there was nothing to set her apart from any of the mortals there, there was something distinctly un-feline about her presence, even without any apparent hints of supernatural about her, and no pomp to her entrance.
"Hey, mom asked tha-" She stopped, finally taking in the forms around them. StarClan, some presumably magic dude she didn't recognize, the Sun God.. "Okay, hey! Wait, who didn't invite us to the party. Come on, that's kinda rude. Who doesn't invite a supernatural to a gathering of supernaturals. Brakewings, did you know about this and just not tell us!?" The she-cat appeared rather offended by the prospect, glaring at the medicine cat a moment before giving the Sun God a sour look. He'd given her and her sister their powers and immortality... and yet he didn't tell them this was happening either? Not that they'd earned it, but she was still irritated.
The Sun God, for his part, didn't look to pleased to see the pair, though maybe that was for obvious reasons. They weren't exactly heeding his orders, and if Pandora's attitude was anything to go by... the power was getting to her head.
The Blind Protector actually let a small smile grow across his muzzle when Blakelystar appeared; another renowned ancestor of Starclan who also lived her last moons under his protection, although he had wished the circumstances of her death had been different. It was almost amusing how the tunnels seemed to draw the tired and weary of the clans to it, though that was a musing for another day. At the very least, he was pleased that the former leader was being a voice of reason between the squabbling Starclan cats and Sun God. "Well spoken, Blakely," he meowed evenly. "The Moon Creek has always been revered as a neutral ground, a place of peace. I see no reason to alter that pact now." He paused, before sending a pointed glance at the Sun God. "Though as for you, you seem to forget that the sun is a star like any other. You may provide more heat and flashiness, but when it comes to our essence, there is no difference between you, I, or any other cat."
Firetooth had quickly grown bored of the argument, and was debating between just sticking his muzzle in the Moon Creek and getting the whole thing over with, or just going home and telling Chimerastar that he'd come back another day. Then his grandmother Blakelystar showed up, because of course it had to be her, and suddenly the idea of turning around and walking away was starting to look far more tempting. He stood in the shadows, tense and waiting for an opening to escape...and then the conversation turned to Novaclan. The Swiftclan tom's eyes went wide at the word, and he looked like he had been physically struck. Without another word, he bolted away from the gathering. Lightningswift and Phoenixstar had always been a reasonable pair, they could wait to speak with him. It was his own kin that he couldn't face. Not now.
Bluejay let out a mock gasp, "Oh my gosh, they didn't invite us," She said as somberly as she could, but her muzzle bubbled with held back giggles before breaking out into high pitch laughter, "Wow, you guys too intimidated to invite the new female Goddesses? Yeah, that's right, I see what's going on, sexism, there's always been a tom in charge and now that two she-cats are Goddesses of DayClan, you're all too scared to invite us to the party. At least us girls stick together, once the Moon Goddess gets here, she'll have our back."
There was something immediately off about Bluejay and Pandora and that was that unlike everyone else that had shown up, they walked in. There was no flashy appearance of powers or that they were dead and could summon themselves when needed. Their powers were attached to SunClan, DayClan, and Primal Instinct at best. Not to mention they were still mortals with a beating heart and while they were age resistant they could easily die from someone killing them. They were equal in every way of existence to the medicine cats. Not only that, but Bluejay was lying through her teeth, DayClan still believed in StarClan, but the Sun God did NOT need to know that.

All of this was just ridiculous banter, Littlestar managed to keep her face composed even though a growl threatened to rumble in her throat as they called the Sun God just another star. "Pandora, Bluejay, I would have most certainly invited you had I known StarClan was going to put up such a fuss over our presence. If they are unhappy with a mere High Priestess showing up, I suppose DayClan's new goddesses would have caused a riot" she smiled slightly. She had known Pandora since she was kit, although Bluejay was still rather foreign to her.
Brakewings closed his eyes as he heard that familiar voice behind him. No, no, don't let it be them... They were just on the verge of figuring out this whole situation. He didn't want the two goddesses causing everyone to question his clan's faith. They still believed in StarClan, and the pair only complicated things. And why was Littlestar encouraging them? He ground his back teeth and slowly looked up at Pandora.
"You two are supposed to be keeping an eye on things at home. We've got it all handled just fine," he told them. He glanced sideways at Yellowmoon for support. "Don't you have something better to do than hang out here?"
Blakelystar could sense Littlestar's anger from a mile away, but disregarded it, that was only natural. Blakelystar didn't take much issue with the new deities, but what was clearly an issue was that there was no equality in death. In death no one was spared, but everyone died with the same worth and in the end all joined the same clan, StarClan. Now SunClan, MoonClan, WinterClan, they would never have that unless StarClan kept up a peaceful approach in connecting their heavens, which wasn't always easy. At least with the Blind Protector he had always been welcoming of allowing his cats to move between his realm of the dead and into StarClan so they could visit as they pleased.
Bluejay blinked gratefully at Littlestar, "That's so nice, I mean, thank-you," She said with a rare friendly smile. She didn't know why she believed her, Littlestar was priestess of SunClan, after all, but something about the way she talked to them rang true. Her entire muzzle from tip past the edge of her lip curled into a distorted sickening grin, "Aww, what's the matter Brakewings, don't want to bow to us? Keep wishing on your pretty little stars," She taunted.
Yellowmoon stepped in front of Brakewings, "Brakewings is the cat that took care of Glowstar when she was attacked in your attempted murder. You're no goddess because you're incapable of being anything worth worshiped. At least your sister doesn't have foul dark forest blood like you do. She might actually have a chance." Her yellow gaze looked at Brakewings, "You are medicine cat, you can speak to the stars, if Bluejay is injured you're not to heal her until she apologizes to you."
