Creaturepaw wasn't sure what force compelled him to go out into the woods in the middle of the night, but boy was he happy that he had. He'd found a raccoon. Even better, it was already dead. These suckers were extremely hard to kill because they were about the size of a cat and had thumbs. Thumbs! What he wouldn't give for a pair of thumbs. It would make it much easier to throw things, "... but I'm still lucky, at least, seeing as your pelt is in crazy good condition, my little bandit."
The vantablack tom quickly got to work skinning the corpse. It was still warm to the touch and rigor mortis had yet to step in so it was pretty easy but very messy. Starting at the skull and working his way along its spine, Creaturepaw expertly removed its pelt in one piece. He had had a lot of practice, after all. Bits of fascia and other fleshy tendrils still clung to the bloody underside but all in all he had done it as cleanly as anyone could have hoped. All that was left was a demented, bloody pile of what was once a raccoon, which Creaturepaw propped up against the tree to hopefully scare the hell out of a future passer-by. It almost looked like a mutilated cat in the darkness but still stunk of raccoon.
"May as well hang you here with your old master playing guard!" He chuckled and jumped up into a tree with the skin in his jaws. He needed it to dry out before he used it otherwise it would stink and mold. The season wasn't perfect but it was above freezing and windier higher up in the trees. Creaturepaw was still in the tree when he heard a frightened gasp below.
(you are the one gasping: you do not see Creaturepaw in the tree, just the raccoon corpse and a bloody mess)

A casual stroll along the border, that's all. The SunClan she-cat was as quietly proud of her heritage as one of her ilk could be, but she still had a streak of curiosity in her. She liked to blame the kits she was currently carrying, but truth be told it had always been that way. Having grown up told that the land outside of SunClan is not blessed by the Sun God and shouldn't be bothered with, she always wondered what it might look like, what it must be like not to be graced by the Sun.
She was not one to be out under the Moon, laze-about brother that he was, but the kits were stirring too much for her to rest and so she hoped that a stroll would settle them down and let her get some much-needed rest. She liked to sun during the day and let her pregnant form absorb as much sunlight as she could so her kits would grow up big and strong, and the idea of sleeping through the day -- much less missing morning prayers! -- made the late-night trip worth it.
What she wasn't expecting, however, was to come across the flayed corpse of a clan cat! Her heart gave two frantic beats, then stopped entirely as she tried to take in the gruesome scene before her. Who - no, what, could do such a thing? The sudden urge to vomit crawled up her throat, threatening to relieve her of the small supper she'd eaten hours before. She took one shaking step back, then two, before stumbling over her own paws and falling to the ground with a pained "oof".
Creaturepaw grinned. He hadn't expected or really wanted any cats to come across this scene so soon, but he was happy at least to see that it was a she-cat he did not recognize. He couldn't tell just what Clan she belonged to due being so high up in the tree, but given his location, it was safe to assume she was SunClan. Ever better. He loved to take every opportunity he could to torture those culty Sun God followers. He studied the ginger she-cat and correctly took her plumpness as proof that she was expecting kits. He'd never dissected a pregnant cat before... but it seemed like a lot of work. He was tried from skinning that raccoon and, besides, he didn't want to go and start a war with SunClan.
He would still play, of course, "Itty bitty SunClan kitty out for a late night stroll?" He chuckled from above. If Sanguinerose looked up now, all she would see were his kaleidoscope eyes reflecting the starlight, as his pelt perfectly matched the darkness in the sky, "The jabberwocky has his eyes on you, be careful not to lose control. He has jaws that bite, the claws that catch! I fear you may have met your match." His rhymes were rather lazy but still lilting and melodic.
Creaturepaw plopped himself in front of the she-cat and half-crouched almost like a kit about to play. He wasn't a particularly large cat which indicated his age. His dark fur hid the blood well but he still had bits of sinew and other fleshy pieces stuck here and there, proof he was the culprit behind this 'murder,"Maybe I ask your name, darling?"

It all seemed to happen in slow motion, but at all once too. The pain from her fall radiated up her body from her paw, indicating to her that it was likely sprained. Her lips drew back into a snarl, and the motherly instincts she had growing within her seemed to lash out all at once, fear for herself and her unborn kits at an all time high. "Get away, you freak!" she yowled, lunging at him with unsheathed claws. This severely hurt her paw, however, and the majority of her yell went from fear to pain in an instant.
Whimpering, she tried to step back but failed, stumbling again. "If you come so much as a tail-length from me I'll kill you myself, I swear to the Sun I will," she panted, eyes flashing in the darkness of the night.
Creaturepaw read the pain on the SunClan she-cat's face and leaned in close to her on the side with the sprain. He assumed correctly that she had wounded herself in the tumble and it brought a smile to his face. He was surprised by her spunk when she lunged at him, though, hadn't been expecting that. She clipped his shoulder - dangerously close to his neck - and he felt warm blood seep into his fur. Creaturepaw did not flinch or make any sort of movement during her attack and laughed out loud as she stumbled back, "Pretty lady, you have so much spunk! Would you do me the pleasure of joining me for dinner?"
He assumed by her fright that she thought the corpse was a cat. He had propped it up in a very convincing way, after all, and was overjoyed that he got the chance to see his work in action. He turned his back to Sanguinerose and approached the corpse, then dug his claws into its shoulder, ripping off a large piece of flesh. He then presented it the terrified she-cat, "Fresh as can be, prepared just by me. What a sight to see!" More lazy rhymes. His kaleidoscope eyes were practically glowing in the moon light. He put his paw over the queen's front paw and dug his dagger-like claws into it, leaning in close once more, and whispered, "Your options are to take a bite of have a fight. Choose wisely."
"Luckily, she won't have to" Foxtrotter meowed as he burst from the under growth. "Besides, your rhymes need a little work!" At the last word, he spun on his front paws and kicked the apprentice away with a hard kick of his back legs.

"Alternatively, she could return home with me" came a rumbling voice from the darkness. All the queen would feel is a rush of air over her back, as he leaped over the she-cat placing himself firmly between the strange tom and the cat he was tormenting to push him backwards and away from the heavily pregnant cat. A loud thud echoed through the night air as he landed, he had to look downwards at the strange apprentice to look him in the eye. Lionpride was tall, muscular, and had quite an intimidating stature like his grandfather before him.

Sanguinerose gasped when not one, but two of her clanmates lept out to her rescue. Her throat still burned where Creaturepaw had sunken his claws in, but thankfully only bled slightly, indicating a minor cut. The queen backed away as much as she dared, knowing it would be easier for both of her clanmates to fight the apprentice with room to work. She didn't, however, back up too far, more than aware that any number of other freaks could be lingering around, ready to strike. She looked up at the Moon with a disgusted glare. The weakest brother couldn't even protect a pregnant she-cat during his reign, and yet he thought to challenge her Sun?
Foxtrotter was clearly not a Sunclan warrior but he had been near the border to see everything that happened. He was taken by surprise when Lionpride leaped out at the same time as he did, just before the sick apprentice could force the pregnant queen to eat...cat? He looked down at the prey the apprentice dropped. "That's not a cat! It's a raccoon!" He lifted the naked creature off the ground by a claw. "What games are you playing, here, kid?"

Lionpride had been just as surprised to see Foxtrotter her. He took a step backwards, draping his tail protectively over the pregnant queen, as if daring either of them to get to close. He wasn't sure what kind of stunt these cats from the other clans were trying to pull, but he wasn't going to let her or her unborn kits get hurt. At the revelation that the pelt was indeed a raccoon, he still kept up his guard. This could be a trap. Could DayClan and SpringClan be working together he leaned over to whisper in her ear "The first chance you get, make a run for it. I can hold the two of them off, but something fishy is going on here"
"Woah, woah, woah!" Creaturepaw said as he was taken out by two different toms. They came from different directions so it didn't seem like they were on a patrol together. Had Sanguinerose made such a racket as to alert more than one Clan of his presence? He was getting angry now, his fun was being ruined, and for what, some silly little she-cat who can't even walk without getting herself hurt? It wasn't like he was going to kill her. Well, he did not know what killed the raccoon, so maybe that could have done some damage, but... he probably would have let her live if she wasn't poisoned by eating the meat.
Creaturepaw's legs fell out from under him first and he immediately rolled onto his back, exposing his soft belly fur but unsheathing his claws. They were exceptionally long and just as sharp; the moonlight shining on them made them very nearly glow. The vantablack tom kicked out at Foxtrotter then felt the pressure of the other tom, Lionpride, pin him down by his shoulders, "No, no, no! YOU'RE ALL RUINING IT!" He cursed, not strong enough to break that deadly grip. He hissed and bit down as hard as he could on the SunClan tom's leg then wrapped his front paws around the crook of his leg like a serpent. All claws, all fangs, he was holding back no punches.
(OOC: don't ask how but I misread Racer's reply and thought Lion pinned him. We just gonna roll with it sorry all.)
"Hey pal, relax. I'm not a threat to her. I'm doing what your doing. Teaching this punk kid a lesson on bullying" Foxtrotter responded to Lionpride's reaction toward him with a flick of his foxy tail.

Sanguinerose exhaled with relief when a clanmate and outsider showed up, clearly ready to defend her against the psychotic apprentice. She wasn't keen on the outsider standing on SunClan territory, but at the moment they had bigger fish to fry. "Give up," she mewed, trying to break the tension and get through to the apprentice. "You're outnumbered and outmatched. If you go home now, we won't alert your leader to this..." She seemed lost for a word and gave up, finished with a wave of her tail at the gory mess. "...-this."
He realized that what the she-cat said was true and relaxed his grip on Lionpride's leg. As much as Creaturepaw loved a good fight, he wasn't looking to die tonight, and Sanguinerose here had just promised him a clean escape. How generous. Most SunClan cats would kill him ruthlessly. He winked at her and grinned revealing extraordinarily long canine teeth coated in Lionpride's blood and probably other nefarious substances, "Sweetheart, you're worried about me?" He was purring.
"I wouldn't get too smart if I were you. Shes giving you a chance to escape with no consequences. That's more than generous. I suggest you take it and go." Foxtrotter insisted, no hostility coming from him.

Lionpride huffed, slowly taking a step back and letting the apprentice scramble to his feet. His leg pulsated with pain, but he did his best to hide it "You best be on your way if you know what's good for you" he growled, making his way over to Sanguinerose and looking her over with a concerned expression on his face before turning back and looking at the other cat over his shoulder "unless you want to go another a round, but I would rather get my clan-mate here back home that waste my time with you"

"Worried would be a significant overstatement," mewed Sanguinerose with a delicate frown, still standing behind the other cats that came to her rescue. Her eyes flashed with anger, though it wasn't lost on her that the apprentice was now severely outnumbered and at a serious risk for injury if these other cats got it into their minds to attack him for what he had done. Looking over at Lionpride and Foxtrotter, Sanguinerose's expression softened and she offered them both a grateful smile. "I'm fine, thank you both," she mewed, the rough edge in her voice gone. "I'd just like to be back home. I think Bloodyrondo might need to take a look at me, just to be sure though..."
Realizing he had lost his chance to do some tests on the Queen, Creaturepaw finally stopped struggling, "Alright, alright, I'll be going now. I can come back to get my pelt another day, though, right?" He motioned up at the sky, where the raccoon pelt blotted out the moonlight, casting a sinister shadow on the cats below, "It's very valuable, you know."
