Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Flamingstar couldn't take the bullying anymore. She marched up to Glowstar, practically pushing Littlestar out of the way, her fur bristling. "Oh the great and powerful Glowstar thinking she's so high and mighty as always! Always talking like your some big shot but your not! You are no better than I am! You think I'm in the wrong for following my destiny to be leader and freeing Nightclan from a traitor but here you are bragging about stealing kits and killing 'gods'! Perhaps if it weren't for you, Soaringstar would still be leader! You led her to this fall. The blame isn't on me, its on you!"
Flamingstar turned to Funk, fury in her eyes. "And you! I know you! Primal Instinct think they are all that but a 'well trained' assassin couldn't stop me from leaving the league! I would say you've lost your touch, Funk! Instead of making your rounds with every cat you lay eyes on, why don't you pay attention to how soft the league is getting! Teaming up with clan cats? Back when I was an apprentice, I wanted to join the league because of how vicious it was! But I was disappointed when I got there. Especially when you became Nemesis. You may have these lady leaders wrapped around your paw but you won't have me! Your lower than dirt!"
Then she addressed the Pride leaders, "It amazes me that any of you are leaders!"
Rubyflame had been watching the conversation with Bloodyrondo, Nikkopaw and Fierypaw from her spot with the other Immortal Council members, among the deputies. At Flamingstar's outburst she looked up bristling at Flamingstar's words.
How dare she insult Glowstar! Who did that uppity little brat think she was? She narrowed her eyes, having half a mind to surge up the tree and smack the vocal she cat.
She could see Skipstep, starting towards the tree the tom having noticed Flamingstar push Littlestar, and she was certain if Flamingstar pushed it there would be a fight.
SunClan Skipstep had been chatting with some cats when Jetclaw had sucked in a breath, and he'd turned and followed her gaze to the tree where the leaders were just as he saw Flamingstar shove his mate to get to Glowstar. Narrowing his eyes he abandoned the conversation and shifted to move closer to the tree.
NightClan
Bleakwind noticed the clouds starting to shift over the moon, glancing up for a moment before turning his head towards the bickering leaders, hairs on his pelt rising worriedly. He started towards the tree as well, hoping perhaps an appeal for calm would be made and the gathering would be allowed to continue uninterrupted.
Spot Beetleflight nodded, "Let's do that, anyone you wanna chat with?" He glanced around, "Looks like SpringClan, SunClan, and DayClan are here at the moment,"
The silent Thistlestar remained observant and patient despite his growing annoyance. It was until the new Nightclan leader snapped did the black faced tom step forward "Enough." His deep voice was firm and boomed louder than the Springclan leader was used to. He stepped between the leaders, his sharp green gaze piercing through each of the individual leaders that stood around him. "This is not why we are here." He growled, his rage burning loudly inside him, yet it could not be seen on the surface. His voice registered loudly, enough to catch the attention of the nearest cats. "Is this what we are doing now? Setting this kind of example for our clans?" He turned back to Glowstar, his stern expression hardening "Last I remember, these gatherings were created to symbolize peace and respect." He turned back to Littlestar and Flamingstar, his tail lashing off to the side "Tonight we drop these petty quarrels, for the sake of those of the past who worked tirelessly to maintain this tradition-" He finally turned to the newest arrival, his tall posture towering most of the cats there "If you don't have ability to respect the sacred rules, leave now."
Yarrowsong's head turned at the sound of a new voice, her smile bright as she took in the tom with immense content "Oh yes!" She chirped cheerfully, her tail wiggling around the floor with anticipation "Gatherings are also so much fun! So many new cats to see and meet-" Her proclamation was interrupted by the booming call of her own leader, causing her smile to drop immediately and her eyes up to the center stone where all the leaders stood. The sight of Thistlestar and his voice rising silenced the rather excited she-cat as she quickly realized something was wrong. Rarely had she heard Thistlestar speak in such a manner. He was a rather peaceful and calm leader, but today he was provoked and Yarrowsong couldn't help but worry.
Flamingstar froze when Thistlestar's loud voice echoed through the clearing. To her surprise, the Springclan leader wasn't as quiet and reserved as she thought. However, Thistlestar was right. She cast her turquoise eyes up to the sky, seeing that the moon was being covered by a wisp of cloud. Either there would be a fight and the alliance and truce would end or everyone would leave and make her feel more embarrassed about her outburst than she was experiencing now. With one last glare at Glowstar and Funk, Flamingstar climbed to a tree branch above the other leaders and sat alone.
Echomelody shook her head. "Not really. I just thought I would hang out with you." She smiled. Then her smile quickly vanished when she heard Thistlestar's loud voice over the chattering crowd. She mouthed the word 'wow' to Beetleflight as Thistlestar told Flamingstar off. "Thistlestar was pretty brave to stand up to Flamingstar like that" She whispered, a frown on her face. Once Flamingstar had backed off, Echomelody continued to head for the edge of the crowd so that the pair of Nighclan cats could be out of the way. "What are your thoughts about Flamingstar, anyway?" She finally asked, taking a seat away from the crowd.
Springclan
Dovewish had been in mid-conversation when she heard her friend's voice ring out over the clearing. She held her breath as Flamingstar looked at the tom. Would the Nightclan leader attack Thistlestar? She exhaled a breath of relief when the new Nightclan leader retreated and didn't show hostility toward Thistlestar. It seemed as if her quarrel was with mostly Glowstar and Funk. Admiration for her friend and leader grew inside her. He was so brave and responsible.
Beetleflight shifted uncomfortably. "I don't like her, she was always kind of abrasive as deputy, but it made sense since Soaringstar was often very quiet and not very argumentative. But now Flamingstar doesn't really have any counterbalance and she keeps picking fights."
He recalled how frightening it had been when Senescence had shown up in NightClan and she and Flamingstar were dancing on the knifes edge between fighting each other. Or Flamingstar dragging NightClan into the fight.
"I was upset to learn that Soaringstar lied about her kits to just get in, but..." His ears lowered. "I dunno, it didn't seem exile worthy. Fernshadow's been really distraught over Blazepaw's health, and the other three aren't doing so well either. I almost wish she'd fought harder to stay in the clan rather than ran away. But Soaringstar never seemed to like confrontations all that much," He said recalling Soaringstar's more flighty responses to danger. "Flamingstar needs a counterbalance, but everyone's kinda too freaked out and messed up by all that's happened I think to really counter her."
Feinignorance saw her look towards the leaders and shrugged. "Don't worry too much, that's normal. Actually, it's almost an improvement, nothing like some of my gatherings when I was younger," He said with a chuckle. "You ever see a gathering where Foxstar and Glowstar were mad at each other? Many cats thought we were on the edge of a bloodbath those times!"
"I feel the same way" Echomelody agreed, looking at the Nightclan leader sitting alone, shooting dagger-like eyes at everyone. "But I think there is something else wrong. I think she might just need a friend." She looked back at Beetleflight. "I've seen how kind Bleakwind has been toward her. She seems to have more respect for him than anyone else. I think she likes him. And if that's true, he might be the key to revealing the true Flamingstar." She looked back at the Nightclan leader once more. "I think there is some good in her. Evil isn't born. It's made."
The newly appointed Summerclan leader Fairystar was not the kind to be on time for anything. No deputy had been appointed and it has been days since he had received his lives. Leaving some of his Clanmates on edge. While he wouldn’t be the oldest, youngest, tallest, largest nor biggest leader at the gathering. He wasn’t afraid to flex his muscles and take it up with the big leagues. He was going to prove to others that Summerclan wasn’t as nice as every thought they were. Following in the paws steps of his dear father Agatestar. He led Summerclan on their journey to the Gathering place. Walking confidently at the front. He took a few paw steps into the gathering place. Waving his tail to dismiss his clanmates. He had allowed his clanmates to wear their best flowers, leaves whatever they wanted to the gathering. A black hellebore flower was tucked into the fur on top of his head. He walked towards the other leaders. Who seemed to all be in a state of argument when he approached. The small tabby tom who barely looked bigger than apprentice stood there quietly. A bored expression in his vibrant emerald eyes. He wondered if the other leaders would mistaken him for a lost Summerclan apprentice. He hadn’t been deputy at the last gathering. And over the past few moons Summerclan had cycled through the leaders Doestar, Basilstar and Gardeniastar. None of which he had been deputy underneath. Gatherings were never his thing therefore he never attended them meaning he was very unknown to other cats in other clans.
"Since we're swinging our status. Hi, Nikkopaw, my father Regin is ex convict of WinterClan and my mother is Mistyveil, retired murderer, killer of her four kit siblings and both of her parents who now sacrifices, heals, sees ghosts, and feels emotions for a living. Or maybe I can just say, hi, I'm Nikkopaw, you don't need a full backstory on my parents cause I can grow up to be my own person and not in the shadow of my family. I know. I'm a delight at parties," Nikkopaw retorted to Fierypaw.
DAYCLAN
Fuzzyheart's ears pricked at the sound of leaders arguing it was nice to hear his leader bash another. He was worried he picked a clan that didn't have a backbone like Spr-
"Enough."
Ha. Of course a SpringClan leader would ruin all the fun, typical. He began to notice that the people he bumped out of the way were apparently talking, "Yeah alright, you can say evil isn't born, but sometimes once evil is infested it's stuck like a terminal illness. Just look at Foxstar or any past nemesis. They'll never be cured and as much as warrior code followers don't want to admit, some people deserve to die," Fuzzyheart shrugged nonchalantly.
"Aww. I had so many good comebacks left though," Glowstar said with disappointment, but seemed to relinquish her focus on Flamingstar in seconds and instead cast her attention to Thistlestar, her eyes were so wide he could see the galaxy in her reflection, "Soooo," Her paw tip toed over to him before playfully stopping in front of his, "How does it feel?" She purred before flicking her gaze back and forth from Thistlestar to Fairystar to Littlestar to forgetting to flick it to Flamingstar, "To be leader and up here for the first time!? It feels like a normal tree... But think about it, so many cool people have sat here before. Actually ew. A lot of cats butts have sat here before. Ugh. I just ruined the magic for myself. Maybe I'll sit on the grass or something for a change with the medicine cats..."
SUNCLAN
"Spiritual warrior passing through, don't mind me. I'm just one of the only people in SunClan who can summon the Sun God and- oh right, get Littleestar her nine lives," Autumngossamer said in a sing song voice to absolutely particularly no one. She had come in a bit late, probably spending a little alone time with her mate, Lovesmitten before arriving to the gathering. Autumngossamer made her way over to the tree before sitting beneath it, "Yup, just gonna chill here where everyone can be impressed by my and Littlestar's glory. And I guess our allies and hey, who the heck is she?" Autumngossamer said, as she suddenly noticed Flamingstar.
PRIMAL INSTINCT
"Yeah who the heck is she?" Innocentia smirked, playing along like she didn't just watch the whole thing go down between Flamingstar and Glowstar.
Echomelody's ear swiveled in the direction that Fuzzyheart was talking. "I just dont believe that to be true" Echomelody responded, turning to look at the rude cat who had run her over. "I believe there is good in everyone. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I believe. I do think there is good in Flamingstar. She just needs someone to help her find it." The pretty black and white she-cat looked back over to where Glowstar was welcoming the other new leaders except Flamingstar, her bold green eyes saddened. "I kind of wish the other leaders would be nicer to her. Maybe that would change her. The more they treat her like an outsider, the more that darkness is going to embed itself in her."
Flamingstar's dagger-like eyes rested coldly on Autumngossamer and Innocentia. Innocentia didn't recognize her? They were in the league together. Flamingstar leaped down fro, her lonely perch and stood beside the small white she-cat. "It kind of hurts my feelings that you dont recognize me, Innocentia." Her voice had a mocking sadness.
"You mean Sunse---" Bloodyrondo began to reply to Fierypaw when he was cut off by Nikkopaw. He turned his celadon eyes to the intruding tom and recognized him as the apprentice he'd gotten in a small fight with several moons ago along the SunClan border. His hackles began to raise as he opened his mouth to reply but was cut short by Fierypaw. The Priest Promised's eyes widened with surprise as the little she-cat tore into the other tom. Weren't they both from NightClan? Well, he had assumed Nikkopaw was from NightClan, but thinking back he never really did find that out. Bloodyrondo couldn't help chuckling at the absurdity even as Nikkopaw retorted, "No, she's not bothering me one bit. Why don't you go find your girlfriend Raspberrypaw and let the two of us get back to our conversation?"
"Wow, look at all these cats!" Poppypaw said to no one in particular. The flame-point she-cat was wearing a decked-out flower crown of warm, pinky-hues, which complimented her light gold pelt well but was a little bit too big for her. She swished her tail from side to side as she tried to poke her head into conversations, eventually finding her way to Dovewish, "Hi-lo, I'm ---" She began as Thistlestar's voice rang out, her bondi blue eyes darting over to where the leaders were gathered. She only recognized her own leader and maybe like two of the other ones, "Woah, who's the tom with the loud voice? Oh yeah, and I'm Poppypaw. Nice to meet you! This is my first gathering, you know."

PRIMAL INSTINCT Senescence warmed beneath her fur, if such a thing was actually possible, the barest appearance of a blush surfacing below already rusty cheeks as Innocentia cuddled into her. They were quite the opposite pair, a massive she-cat covered in scars, all edge and boredom, and this tiny kawaii little cat, fluffy and cute, hardly intimidating unless you actually knew her. "Funk, do you remember agreeing to any 'sacred rules' because I don't." The Proxy commented in response to Thistlestar before tilting her head back towards Flamingstar with a raise of her brow. "Not sure why she'd remember someone as insignificant as you. Frankly, I'm surprised anyone in your own clan can remember your name. Did you have to beat it into them?"
Almost imperceptibly, her tail curled around the white Proxy, ears angled towards Flamingstar as she spoke to the small feline.
The pretty gray she-cat greeted Poppypaw with a warm smile and sparkling blue eyes. "Hi, Poppypaw! My name is Dovewish! It's nice to meet you" she purred. "That loud voice was my leader and my best friend." She twitched her whiskers in amusement as she thought about Thistlestar using his big boy voice.
Funk had listened to Flamingstar's little tirade, his eyes threatening to roll out of his skull. He had some retort, a 'tell someone who cares' when Thistlestar spoke up. That brought a vague headache. What a pain. "Now, to be fair, Thistlestar. This is the example I'm supposed to set for my clan. Uprooting the weak and all. Guess I gotta find nicer ways to toughen up." Funk had pretty much accepted his place lost on the tree, pushing the happy couple off was not his business. He laid down on one of the lower branches, the comings, and goings of the other clan cats were suddenly more interesting than any leadership drama. One caught his eye, some orange tom trying to control the apprentices that screamed familiar. He didn't know why, though he swore he felt those eyes on him at one point.
Innocentia giggled at Senescence's comment before tugging on Flamingstar's cheek, "Chin up princess, don't want that crown of yours to slip. Besides, I'm not judging the way you came into leadership, I'm just dubious that you care that those kits were stolen. Surely an ex league cat such as yourself wouldn't care about such things. I rather you just own the fact that you riled your clan up about the betrayal to get the position than the whole, "I'm the savior," thing you got going. Innocence just isn't your color the way it is mine," She purred, batting her giant pink bow. She seemed to turn her attention back to Senescence giving her a playful bat across her paw for no apparent reason than to bug her.
A shadow like the darker half of the moon crept towards Flamingstar, uncertain at first, but more sure of himself by the time he approached her. He was a short black tom with a half white face with piercing exotic green eyes, "I can honestly call you my hero." Kotori was the last cat who entered the league during Vera E'tani's rule who didn't have to submit to an initiation. He was hyped up to be a mass murderer, killing not just his own family, but many cats in the Regime. But ever since he stepped paw into the league he had been nothing more than a rat trying to survive among wolves. No one was ever sure if he really did kill so many. "I once tried to claim a throne, got the lives, failed at the ruling part. But you've already gotten farther than I have." He seemed to look back at Senescence, before stopping short, he didn't need to look back to know that Senescence could detect him anywhere. He continued to talk to Flamingstar, this time in a whisper, "You think things will get better with Glowstar, maybe you'll shut Sun and Day up or play nice enough to belong, but you won't be able to do either. You need an ally and I know plenty who dislike the Eerie family so maybe you and I can get along? Perhaps we can talk more after the gathering?"
?
Nikkopaw looked Bloodyrondo in the eyes and lied down all while maintaining eye contact. No words left his muzzle, he just seemed to be in on eavesdropping, but his tail had curled inward in disgust at the idea of Raspberrypaw and him dating.
DAYCLAN
"Okay I hear you, but that's the part everyone regrets. Every monster has a heart, it doesn't mean they'll stop being a monster. If it's who they are, they'll never be able to change fully. Honestly, the only reason I'm this nice and as you can tell, not a great improvement, is because I found true love. I doubt Flamingstar will find true love because she looks like the type of person to fall for anyone who agrees with her, not someone who will challenge her. But hey, I don't know the chick, I'm just warning you so you don't get hurt trying to bring flowers to a monster," Fuzzyheart said.
"Seriously, what are you, a kit? I said to bug off." Bloodyrondo turned to Nikkopaw, ready to push the conversation, when he felt eyes on him. It was stupid, really, he was a bright ginger tom, covered in red paint, in an area full of new cats, but something seemed... off. His peripheral vision picked up motion above and he turned abruptly to lock eyes with Funk.
The father and son did not look at that similar. One was fluffy, the other smooth. One was spotted, the other striped. The one thing they did have in common were their celadon green eyes. With swish of his tail, he left Nikkopaw and Fierypaw to bicker for a few moments longer while he approached the base of the tree. He did not really have anything to say when he got there, though. What was there to say? Hey, Dad, how's it been? No, he was overthinking it, best keep it simple,"Funk, right?"
"Really? He looks so scary, but you're so nice." Poppypaw replied, sitting down next to the older she-cat. She'd never had a proper conversation with any cat from another Clan before and was happy to find a friendly she-cat to entertain her. "If you're his best friend, then you're bound to know something about him that no one else does... like his favorite color. Or favorite food. Or... least favorite food!"
Flamingstar lightened up a bit at Innocentia's words. Especially about the part where she should own up to why she really riled up her clan. Even if she was being sarcastic, it was still nicer than anyone else has been toward her. That was until Kotori approached her. She spun around to meet the league tom with sharp turquoise eyes. She hadn't known this tom very well. He was in the league when she was but they had never really talked. However, when Kotori stood before her, she thought she would have to defend herself once more. She opened her mouth for a sharp retort but was cut off guard by the tom's words and quickly shut her mouth again and listened. She didn't flinch when he leaned in to whisper to her. Instead, she perked her ears with interest but her eyes gave away the distrust she had. How could she trust this tom? He seemed to be on her side but he could be lying and tricking her. Though, it wouldn't hurt to hear what he had to say. She then nodded, "alright. I will meet you and listen to what you have to say."
Echomelody flicked an ear as Fuzzyheart spoke. It was true, some cats welcomed the darkness but she didn't want to believe that Flamingstar had fallen too far. "Well, whatever you have to say won't change my mind. I still think someone should try."
Springclan @jadie
She chuckled, "yes, I'm nice but so is he. He just likes to make people think he's a big scary leader." Dovewish winked at Poppypaw. "And yes, I do know those things about him but I dont think he would like me sharing those things about him."
Faith @jadie Fierypaw though saw Nikkopaw’s disgust at the implication he was dating Raspberrypaw, “What?! You think you’re worthy of my cousin’s time?” Technically they weren’t actually related anymore, but screw it they grew up together. It still counted. “Tsk! You’d be lucky if she paid you more than a passing glance!”
With Bloodyrondo distracted by something it seemed to leave her to engage this annoying furball.
@spot Faith Beetleflight looked uncomfortable, “I don’t think it’s wrong to hope for the best... but I think it is up to Flamingstar to make that choice. When that cat Wanderingwight showed up Flamingstar wasn’t exactly extending an olive branch or anything. She seemed ready to get herself killed or send us in to die for her.” He shuddered at the thought

PRIMAL INSTINCT "Kotori, could you be any more obvious that you're conspiring?" Senescence sighed, rolling her eyes to the sky. After all, Flamingstar was literally sitting right next to her and Innocentia, and the scarred feline didn't need to hear what he was talking about to assume. "Flame, meet Kotori. Serial killer cousin of mine from the Regime. You should remember him from my district." She didn't even try to dissuade them from their actions. She didn't really care enough to bother, since she could just spy on them anyhow, or ask Zakiyyah about it later.
Poppypaw frowned, her bondi blue eyes large and especially bright against the flowers adorned around them, "Well, if you won't share his secrets, I'll tell you mine! My favorite color is pink and my favorite food is a gold finch because their feathers are so beautiful, the look good with any flower. I hate eating frogs though, like, what cat in their right mind would chose that over a bird or a mouse?! I bet Thistlestar likes frogs, since his voice is so deep, no offense to him of course, to each his own. What about you?"
