breloom my point still stands that u are the sweetest person in history and ilysm ♥ (also while yall are talking about dnd, I LOVE IT SO MUCH and i almost always play paladins or bards bc they are my FAVOURITES asjhdbakdbsa i haven't done a campaign in aaaages tho and i desperately want to) okay so!! for ur girl in winterclan, we could use my summerclan leader doestar, bc i think they could bounce off each other really well? like he's small in comparison to her and just super gay and sweet and bubbly and i really want him to have some close relationships with she-cats so they could be a cute friendship? or maybe my fallclan medicine cat peppermintpaw, who's deadpan and grumpy and super arrogant even if she secretly struggles with survivor's guilt from all the patients she couldn't save? or! we could do both! cx
lavellan mmmmmmm that is so tempting, because I've always really wanted to play Pathfinder. I'm just concerned to say yes, because classes are going to start soon and I would hate to be that person that doesn't show up to sessions, because she over-committed... Let me think on that for a bit - I'd love to say yes, because I haven't played any TTRPG for a month and it's killing me.
fox (paladins are so great omg I love my lawful stupid babeys so much ♥ ♥ ♥ please tell me about your paladins and bards - I love hearing about other people's characters in dnd SAME THO. I was unable to finish DMing the campaign for my siblings, because everyone got super busy and I had to move. I was so crushed when we weren't able to finish it ;w;) ahhhhhhh I love the idea of Doestar and Bearspirit becoming friends - I have such a soft spot for the "friends who are complete opposites of each other" trope. Are there any rifts between Summer and Winter right now?? We could maybe use that as a good starter for the thread?? Or it could be something super small like Bearspirit stepping onto SummerClan territory because it's been ages since she's left Clan - she takes being a guard v seriously and has spent most of her time within the camp.
no rush c: we dont plan on being strict with a schedule or anything, itll just be something that we do when everyone's free and wants to campaign.
but man I feel that. my normal group is tired of pathfinder and has been doing just like hero campaigns and stuff where we dont even use character sheets, or our star wars campaign. I miss some good old fashion fantasy.

i want to say about like 3 or 4 years??? prob closer to 3 years. but it's not very regularly because our original dm doesn't really do pathfinder anymore, so our new dm had to step up from being a player because he also wanted more pathfinder but yeah fantasy is so comfy. but at least i've somewhat experimented with others, but man i love medieval fantasy. it's my favorite type of books too oops
breloom oh gosh i can hardly remember my old dnd characters! i know my best friend and i had these two twins who had been separated at birth, and one stayed with their royal parents in this castle and was a prince, and the other was taken in by these creatures living in a little village in the woods, and then they reunited on this quest and it was wholesome?? and then i had this half-dragon girl who was huge but really soft and i loved her? god now i wanna play even more i love it so much.
and yeess i live for that trope as well!! doe had a close relationship with the former winterclan leader and the mountain clans formed the gay dad alliance (long story), but he hasn't had any interactions with leatherstar yet and is probably a bit wary of the clan at the moment, not knowing where he stands with them? so, yeah, maybe she could come onto summerclan territory, totally harmlessly, and doe is all jittery like "i knew it! you're here to tell me winterclan is at war with us, i can't believe this, this is terrible" and she's like "uuuhhhhh" it could be cute c': ♥
pathfinder is actually what i started with! there's only like 2 or 3 of us in my group that wants to learn 5e, but the rest are fully against it. oddly enough, the ones who are against it are also the ones who are talking about buying the pathfinder 2 books. also the ones who dont even like doing pathfinder anymore, and one of them just hates combat altogether.
i just recently actually went in the game store that we have though (and bought $50 worth of minis but we dont talk about that) and am debating spending time there so that i can make new friends but also they'll probably look down on me bc i only know pathfinder sobs
fox this is the dnd conundrum!!! you're in a loop of wanting to play dnd, but struggling to find either players or the proper time to play, so you go online and fill that dnd void with stories, art pieces, podcasts/videos about other people's dnd experience, but that makes you want to play e v e n m o r e.

lavellan awww that sucks - I always have a problem with people who are that resistant to learning a new system - I can understand if you don't want to change now, but maybe a little switch-up in systems would do people some good??
I haven't touched the minis because I know that as soon as I start buying them, I'm going to spiral into that hole (°ー°〃) I've also been debating about joining a ttrpg society!! the problem is again time - because i don't want to over commit but wow do I miss playing ttrpgs so much. if you do join, please tell me what it's like!!
I've tried so many times to get into it, but I just can't ;w; BUT it makes me so freaking happy that that's what has gotten people into DnD? it's shows/podcasts/actual plays like cr that make me so happy - I remember when I was in grade school / beginning high school and there were only men playing DnD. I never got teased for liking ttrpg's, but there's a difference between being welcomed and feeling represented - both are great, but the latter is what makes my heart so happy
of course once i bought all these minis no one wants to campaign and they all move away after painting some of them bright pink and i'm honestly kind of upset about that but i cant fix it because then they'll be angry
i got sick instead and have been bound to the house oops but one of these days maybe i'll get over to the gamestore but i'm also awkward and anxious so i'll probably end up not actually doing anything

+ I ADORE Pokémon. My fav Pokémon (for each Region) are: Primeape, Magcargo, Swalot, Chatot, Escavalier, Diggersby, & Dhelmise, and my fav game overall is Explorers of the Sky, which I can beat in under 24 hours. I'm terrible at Pokémon GO though. Also Detective Pikachu nearly made me cry ngl XD
+ I have never played a game of DnD before, but I would really like to one day, and I currently have more character ideas than I know what to do with lol

Hello, Gidget!!! It's nice to meet you! c: SWALOT IS SUCH A GOOD POKEMON, WHY DOES NO ONE USE MY PURPLE SON??? I did a nuzlocke of X a couple years ago and I remember that my Swalot saved my butt in numerous occasions - he was such a good wall. The explorers series is so good??? Currently, I'm doing a more difficult playthrough of Explorers of Sky, because I want to challenge myself and be frustrated at the same time. The Grovyle storyline though, c r u s h e s my heart every time. I have teared up so much at this game. Detective Pikachu was so good??? I was laughing and giggling the entire time - how dare they make Growlithe and Sneasel so gosh darn fluffy - I want them even more now ;w;

Side note - have you considered joining an online game of DnD? I dunno if that option is comfy for you - I personally don't just because I'm v awkward and I enjoy face-to-face DnD more.
